    In your lifetime you never heard or understood the word Halfassed, because nothing you fab is anything but total practicality and tastefulness.

    So I had one of these, way back. Mine was even the same color. It was a 67 with covered headlights, It had a backwards running Fiat 1324 cc 124 motor driving into the stock fiat transaxle with an abarth bell housing. It used the stock fuel tank, and had a radiator mounted about where yours is. It also had moveable aerodynamic devices, the hood opened at speed and lifted about 3" (at the rear of course) and the air going through the radiator vented out the open hood. Great car. I called it "animal" . One day the car split in half as I get home, and I decided to sell the drivetrain for big profit!

    Lovely work. It'll be handy enough for Walter to drive when it's ready!

    Great work - I was in your neighborhood (off Seamount) helping an owner of a very original 1970 Fiat 124 Spider get his car running again.

    I quit fabricating a few years ago. You do a great job. Just insulate the radiator with rubber. It will last way longer.

    As always your work is impeccable. I so enjoy watching you fabricate your ideas into reality. Your channel is my favorite on all of RUclips!

    Nice work, the inlet for the radiator would have looked better if the outside with the mesh would follow the curves of the front valance in my eyes

    Cool to turn a rear-engined car into a mid-engine. One of the knocks on the Miura is the changing weight distribution from decreasing front mass as fuel is consumed.

    My only criticism is that the radiator box coming out the front does look a little wonky. Would it be possible to trim it back to match the shape of the front end?

    • @edkorff7563

    Wow looks great love your videos . Any concern about hot air expelled from the radiator and heat soak for fuel in the tank BTW what is the radiator from ?

    • @Jerod_Helt
      @Jerod_Helt  2 года назад +2

      It’s from an ATV. Heat is a concern, I can make a heat shield if necessary

  • @rivenmotors7981
    @rivenmotors7981 2 года назад +1

    Nice result, should be fairly balanced even if the fuel tank is ahead of the front wheels. Are you putting foam in the tank to mitigate sloshing or is it baffled?

    • @Jerod_Helt
      @Jerod_Helt  2 года назад +1

      The tank came with foam in it👍

    • @Jerod_Helt

      We actually just named him Walter because we thought it fit his personality… but a lot of people have asked us if it’s because he’s white.
