I have this xiaomi monitor. During the morning work time I have lots of glare in the edges of the screen. Having this in the middle (not covering the whole screen) do you think it will give proper lighting to minimize the glaring?
I have similar issue with the glare in the morning, but I don't think the lamp will help much here. It's designed to light up the area in front of screen, so it should not influence the screen itself.
@@mariot.5178 Yes I do. I use this for gaming and programming. I really like this monitor. The only thing I dislike is the fact that I replaced the two monitors I have with this one, therefore, if I have a full screen app running (such as a game), I cannot glace over to see discord and whatnot. So I think I will buy a smal 21" display just to have on the side for those situations
@@lemuelbuenviaje1996 someone sent me an English manual and it described desktop mode as such and testing it out does exactly what I mentioned unfortunately 😕
Xiaomi ultrawide + xiaomi lightbar..
Noice combo 🤙🤙
Wow, that's awesome!
thanks, same monitor here

Does it remember what setting you had it in last or do you have to readjust it every time?
It remembers the setting ;)
Hi, a question off topic. Which calendar app are you using. I just like the menu bar icon with the date in you Mac.
Hi, its itsycal. You can check it in this video of mine: ruclips.net/video/9THC2vSbKic/видео.html
Can you mount a webcam above it?
nice desktop wallpaper. mind sharing?
So far did you need to replace the batteries of the controller?
Great video tho 👍
No, not yet ;)
I also have this 34inch mi curved monitor. Do you have the glare from monitor light on side edges of the monitor since the display is curved?
Hi, no, no glare.
@@SavvyDan Okay. Thanks
It looks like the light shines onto the monitor as well. Is the light supposed to be asymmetrical? I am concerned it will add glare to the screen
HI, no, it had the same concerns before I order. But it shines exactly before it. There is no glare.
hi! do you know how to disable this thing from turning on automatically?
Hi, I didn't notice anything like that. I don't turn off my mac, so I guess that's why.
Press and hold the switch to disable the automatic powering on
don't think that works. holding the switch sets the light to desktop mode I think which is 50% brightness with a warmer tone
@@tontiv desktop mode is the mode for it to turn on at the same time you turn on your PC

Can you tell me whether you could mount any webcam on top of it ?
If you mean the screen then it is rounded and bit thick, so probably with some models you could have an issue with mounting a camera on top.
Nice
