I know this is a weird comparison but I feel that it's his body type and the way he capitalizes on his reach and leverage, amongst other things obviously, is what makes him so dangerous. Abe Lincoln, oddly enough, was a monster when it came to wrestling bouts (it was one of his favorite past times) and due to his body type (crazy reach/lanky yet strong/understood leverage) he went virtually undefeated for hundreds of matches (299 and 1). Granted these weren't Olympic cards or "Pro" wrestling like WWE or what not, they were really unregulated and slightly shady yet some rules were enforced. It makes sense when you figure they (Bones and Abe) had relatively the same stature and body type. The most important variable is the ability to apply leverage using their fight I.Q.'s as well.

Jones was arrested by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers in the early morning hours of Sept. 24, per the arrest report. When he was taken into custody, Jones "became irate and smashed his head onto the front hood" of a police vehicle, causing a medium-sized dent and paint chipping, according to the report. That led to the initial felony charge of injuring or tampering with a vehicle.
The police were called by a security guard at Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel and Casino who encountered a crying woman inside the hotel. The woman told the security guard she was afraid to go back to her room and was taken to the security office. The woman told police that Jones was a "little" physical with her, touching the back of her head and pulling her hair. She said Jones didn't hit her, though officers saw blood on the women's clothing and a bump on her lip with dried blood. The woman said her lips were very dry. Police also observed blood on the bed sheets inside the hotel room, according to the report.

I am not a fan of his antics outside the cage, but as not only a fan, but a fighter who had dreams and promise with the bad luck of breaking my femur and getting permanent spinal cord damage just before my debut, I made sure to watch Jones because I wanted to be better than him in the cage. Not happening BTW, not where I was at 8 years ago or now especially since 30 and need a cane on good days lol. The man has the perfect fighting body and is the most perfect fighter. Unfortunately Jones didn't suffer those hard issues and got slaps on the wrist for had behavior outside the cage. If he has lost legitimately to anyone, Jon wouldn't be the way he is today. Jon Jones is probably the most disrespected GOAT in the GOATs conversation. Think about it. Anytime you mention Jon Jones, you get “Peds” “Wife beater” “Terrible human being” etc. And this is all irrelevant considering the fact that individual character aren’t a measurement for fighting prowess. And that everybody uses PEDS. However, when it comes to ACTUALLY trying to make an argument against Jones, you won’t see much at all. Or even a little. Because Jones is one of the GOATS, and people hate that fact. They deny it, they rebel against that idea. But deep down inside, they know that Jon Jones is one of the GOATS. It’s kind of like saying the sun doesn’t exist while looking directly at it, Jones greatness is too bright to genuinely think that he’s NOT one of the GOATS.
