Amazing storytelling, Clenched Teeth never disappoints, keep it up, your product is amazing!!! (Btw I rarely ever comment) Y’all are true MMA family 👍🏽 Respect!
Fr ive watched about 5 long ass videos like this one on Charles... Still dosent get old. I feel like it's too soon for a rematch against Makhachev but hey, really hope he gets the job done.
I was born and raised in the same neighborhood as he was, and when he won his first world champion belt, he paraded the streets atop a firetruck, with dozens of people following and cheering for him. I remember how surreal all that was, and how surreal it is to imagine that someone born on the same town as me could be that big
I love Charles, I love watching him succeed more and more in life with every fight. He’s now a multimillionaire and it couldn’t have happened to a better person
Nobody is more entertaining than him. The absolute gladiator and the people’s champ, fell down and always got back up. Anyone who has seen failure in their life will definitely respect his grind. It’s inspirational, mcgregor and jones got me into MMA but Do Bronx made me fall in love with it.
Win, lose, or draw, all of his fights are bangers. Champion or not, I can't want anything more as a fan of combat sports. He's extremely skilled and entertaining in the cage, so I will always look forward to his fights. Do Bronxs is must-see TV every single time!
Charles story literally comes right out of a typical manga story, a sickly boy grows up to be one of the best fighters on earth through exercise and sheer will!
it’s crazy to see how much he improved. I don’t thinl there’re any LW or WW for that fact that hits harder than Charles. It’s crazy how guys like Chandler, Justin or Poirer who can duke it out with each other for rounds but will go down when Charles touch them, crazy hand power
Fantastic video! This guy is the champ with or without the belt. He is many people's favourite fighter of all time, not just because of the way he fights but because of who he is. Coming from absolute poverty, dealing with health issues, imposter syndrome, and being labeled a quitter when he went through more obstacles than anyone else in the MMA world. He spat in their face and showed them what he's truly made of. One thing the video failed to highlight was his move to chute boxe. There, they psychologically changed him. He had believed the quitter accusations, until he joined a new gym where he was treated like a champion. They gave him the confidence and positive reinforcement that he needed.
Charles is one of the best fighters of all time, how many fighters have faced so many losses and criticism and little fought his way into the top of the sport
Love this man, I started watching UFC just because of Charles. Wish him all the best always, he’s proof that losses doesn’t mean you can’t improve or figure a way to reach the top! Hard work always pays off and I’m glad he can provide for his family. Also he’s so respectful and didn’t need to trash talk or use the media in order to get a title shot like many other fighters. Much love to Brazil!
Absolutely LOVE Charles! He’s so entertaining to watch fight, none of his fights are boring and it seems like he’s a really good guy. He’s awesome and definitely in my Top 5 favorite fighters. He’s the only fighter I’ve ever started tearing up watching get the belt. When he was running around going nuts it was hard not to get choked up! He’s the peoples champ with or without the belt 100%
This is what i love about mma. Unlike boxing where you loose a few and ya done....in mma you can claw your way back if you work hard enough. Olivera is a testimate to that. His record looks spotty but he became champ and was dominant in his time. Im keen to see his next fight for sure
I've been a boxing fan my whole life dude and yes it has happened but not to the extent of MMA. Boxing tends to glorify undefeated or almost undefeated fighters get the big $$$. MMA I tend to see it more way more where a fighter on a bad skid changes something in their game and is a contender again. You don't see that much in boxing. The skill gaps tend to be huge between fighters where MMA I find it to be a much more competitive sport. But that's me
love Charles, he realy seems like a good human being. So happy when people from very humble begginings succed. He is a champion with or without the belt. Best of luck to him and his loved ones!
No offense to all you u"nut riders" i never liked him at all (which is MY business and just an opinion, don't get it twisted). He'll NEVER become champion again, his career IS basically OVER !!!
I love the dude, his redemption from the losses to being an elite LW is inspiring plus how he carries himself. Excited for the Islam rematch though i favor Islam, I'll always be a hige fan of Do Bronx, very fkn inspiring.
A spectacular narrative. An excellent chronological story of a champion. I should add that Oliveira was recovering from a neck injury when he went to fight Holloway. And during the fight, he felt the injury in his neck again, which is why he withdrew from the fight. This injury almost took him out of MMA.
First time I saw him many years ago his talent was clear. But so was his youth and inexperience. He is one of the only BJJ guys that is explosive. My fav
Yeah it’s crazy how infrequent you see bjj masters have crazy pop in their hands. Charles in my opinion has the hardest hitting punches in the whole division.
Thanks 🙏🏻 💙 Charles deserves all the lights 💫 Our Brazilian athletes are like heroes for us. 95% have NO sponsors in Brazil and earn very little money untill hit the top and they work relay hard throughout their entire live !! We are so proud of Charles 🥺🇧🇷
Charles title win and in cage celebration will forever be one of the most beautiful moments of this sports for me. EDIT: Great journey you took us on in this video. Thank you for that.
At least once a month I watch the video where says "hit me, I can take... I am illuminated by god!" Shit gives me chills and makes me feel like I can run through walls, his English is starting to get there and 1000% once he speaks good English, if you thought he was a star now just wait. I've watched the couple of podcasts he's been on and once he can tell the stories of his life and with his humour to English speaking audiences his career shoots off to the moon
Truly an inspirational story of been told one thing and not just proving them wrong but proving his father and mother's love, courage and obviously belief in there child to be just like every other child... THIS IS WHY HE BECAME THE CHAMPION AND HE HAS PROVEN THAT NO MATTER WHAT OTHERS THINK, HE'S WORTHY OF ANOTHER TITLE SHOT.... I JUST HOPE WHOEVER WINS BETWEEN ISLAM AND CHARLES THAT BOTH GET THE RESPECT FROM THE FANS, CRITICS AND HATERS...THERE CAN ONLY BE 1 CHAMPION... BUT IMO, CHARLES AND HIS STORY IS A VERY INTERSTING AND INSPIRATIONAL STORY... GOOD LUCK TO BOTH FIGHTER'S....
Imagine being there and seeing these guys going by. I'm old and not a fan o of much but I would be struck. Kgabib turned me into a young fanboy. The humble wholesome champion doesn't come around come around much. No booze drugs chasing work just God family train. Wants to help people. Love the whole crew😅
