I live in Stratford. Actually near this green! My favorite part is the parks and beaches. I also like how it has amazing schools, as well as being the home to many historical events, including the invention of the helicopter.
As a Stratford resident, I fish at Longbrook and Motil often. There is an area of Longbrook Park across the street from the playground, pond, sprinkler park, and Penders Field, which is home to Stratford High School’s football, soccer, lacrosse, and baseball teams. This area has barely anything, and it has an abandoned little league baseball field on it. I think they should build something there. I think it should be a ice hockey/skating rink where both high schools in the town would play both boys’ and girls’ ice hockey, as well as holding open skating days/nights, skating lessons, etc. They can also redevelop the old tennis courts there into basketball courts.
What's your favorite part of Stratford?

@@gamingwithscottie1478 I love Paradise Green. It's so quaint and I love the homes in the area. Easy to walk and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy.
@@connecticutcoastallife My favorite Stratford park is Longbrook Park. There, I go fishing a lot. They have tons of bass and carp.

At Longbrook Park and Motil Park, I am there often for fishing as my house is near them.

My grandparents live in the Paradise Green neighborhood, closer to Longbrook Park.
