My wife and I have been following your journey for a long time. Thank you for your honesty and sharing your experiences with all of us. A life lesson I have learned is when we conquer our fears some of them tend to become our most important life experiences.
Kels I couldnt be more happy for you, So awesome you did this!! Keep growing!! sending much love an light!!
Shanie, so good to see your name here! Hope all is well with you 💛💛 thanks for always being the BEST!!
I remember when I moved out of my parents house with my son in tow. My mom was not my biggest supporter at all. As much as she kicked me out of the house, she honestly didnt want me to leave, but I didnt care because she had me so stressed out it became unbearable. I didn't just move down the street, in another town, a couple hours away...No I moved from Indiana to Wisconsin. I had never been there before until the previous year. I was excited because Wisconsin is so beautiful and it reminded me of home except it had more scenery. I drove a uhaul with a trailer attached carrying my 2005 Ford Escape. My 8 year old son was my hero and our cat, Cissy, was a trooper. Been living in Wisconsin ever since, 8 yrs now. Leaving was the best choice at the time, but hindsight is 20/20. Not everything was paradise. But Im still living on my own and rocking it. If I had stayed behind, I would have never got my life together. I would never grown in various ways. I would have never learned anything. And I had a lot to learn. I'm still learning because I still make mistakes. sometimes you have to do things to actually appreciate what you take for granted. you'll never respect anything if you dont appreciate it. Appreciate your life, your lifestyle, your family, friends, job(s), your fans/supporters, and everything you have, and everything you get to do. Take a break and take it all in...and breathe. when you come back home those familiar faces will leave a smile on your face and in your heart.
That was awesome of you to do. Alone is not at all a bad thing. Been my goal to do. When I make the move out of here that is what I'll be doing. You go girl!!
Thank you for putting your feelings out there.
It's awesome you Drove by yourself!! That's awesome!
All the respect in the world for this 💕
Aww thanks friend 💛💛
Congratulations! I agree with all sentiments from everyone else. What you accomplished was HUGE. I was cheering for you while I watched the video.
Good job Kelsey you rocked that long drive! Hope you show more of your time with your friends, I think that's what you've been missing! 💕🏜⛰️🏕
Best video you've ever made!! What a journey!
Proud of you Kels great video. I saw some of my favorite van life youtubers at the end also. Chase & Maria Jose & Alex
What a great video! I have some of the same insecurities, too, but you faced yours head on. Way to go, Kels!
So happy you’re back🥰
Great trip!! Not sure I could do that. Proud of you girl!!
I wish I had been as brave as you are at any point in my life. Don't overthink it just enjoy the journey. Life is too short to waste it trying to find yourself. You are here and now is all that counts.
💯% agree!!
Miss your faces! Glad you had a successful solo trip love ❤️!!!

This was amazing Kels! So proud of you! ❤
Kelsey, you are strong, inspiring, courageous, creative, adventurous, determined, and you are a source of joy to others. That's who you are. And we all love you for it. Not because we think you're perfect. Because you're all of these things anyway. 🤙🏼
Aww friends 🥺 this was the sweetest comment to read, thank you so much! We both love and miss you so much!! 💛
I think the cows in Texas say "Moo Y'all". LOL And I'm sorry you had to drive through Kingman, AZ.

You maybe the first person happy to be in Jersey. LOL I live in Kansas. It's either hot and windy or cold and windy.
I like the videos you share you're amazing person
Thanks Jere, that means a lot!!
You have a beautiful heart and your caring that's why I say you're amazing
I have a weird example of a fear I overcame. Got stabbed a long time ago. It was always a possibility in the place I lived as a teenager and I was obviously very scared of it. Then it happened. It sucks btw I do not recommend lol but luckily a few stitches was all I needed and I was good.
Now I got stabbed because I was terrified and was trying to avoid the knife instead of addressing the stabber. Fast forward a couple years I had another knife pulled on me and I was once again terrified but this time I stepped forward instead of back and addressed the problem. It was an incredible feeling to address a fear directly and come out ok. It’s something we all need in one way or another.
So proud of you . You are so brave an courageous you encourage us to follow our dreams ..You are a beautiful soul fun person ..yay . Thanku so much for sharing your incredible journey much love an God bless always from Cyprus x
Thanks for always being here Wendy 💛
@@KelsAndJay it's an honour to be here x
You rock girl! I’m vicariously proud of you and you inspire me… a book that helped me conquer a lot of my fears and helped me with a spiritual breakthrough is the battlefield of the mind, by Joyce Meyer’s. It gave me a new perspective on fear… I’m praying for you both in your journey’s ❣️
Put both Windows down a little when windy
Wait, I make that commute to NH everyday. I live in Clinton ! 😂
Kels...it's OK to NOT be OK! What you're going through is what EVERYONE who is over 30 has been through (well at least those who have actually become productive members of society otherwise known as ADULTS)! I believe this is even more so when we have defined ourselves while being in a relationship. I did it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being in a relationship, AT ALL! But as women we lose ourselves in others especially in our partner. I thought I was LOSING my mind & would be in a mental health facility FOREVER (I actually ended up in one, TWICE during this time)! What my doctors told me is what they referred to as "A turning point" in my life that is usually more difficult for women to get/go through because we're more emotional creatures who feel more defined by the need to care for & serve others. We feel the pressure to live up to this lifestyle, especially now where our perception is so distorted due to social media. It causes us to believe that everyone really does have this "Instagram Picture Perfect Life". Even if we KNOW that it's NOT realistic just SEEING those 5 second videos & pictures it is always in the back of our mind that 'that's the way everyone else's life is WHY isn't mine & what is wrong with me"! I PROMISE, you WILL look back on this time in your life & wonder "what was I really thinking" BUT IT'S OK BECAUSE MORE PEOPLE THAN YOU KNOW ARE GOING THROUGH IT TOO OR HAVE BEEN THROUGH IT! I didn't have parents that I could freely go to & talk to about things so when I went through this I was just taught to suck it up & press on which only made it harder. I didn't see any of my friends going through it because they all hid it & didn't talk about it either so I thought something REALLY was wrong with ME but I now know they all went through it too. If I could think of one thing to say to you that I wish someone would've said to me is what I said in the first sentence; IT'S OK TO NOT BE OK! It's ok to not have your life planned out. To not have a foreseeable future. To not know where you'll be in a year or even six months. It's ok to not know what you want to do with your life. It's ok to not know what your passions & desires are. It's ok to look at others & think they have it all together & you don't. When we start to allow our passion to fulfill others more than it fulfills us it is no longer a passion but a JOB! I LOVE when you make these videos that are SO MUCH deeper than a few moments of your life but a TRUE LIFE CHANGING LESSON! THESE are your BEST videos! It's so soul searching...even for us "adults"! It helps to PAUSE the whirlwind we live in & reflect on where we are & what we're doing. Thank you! Keep on doing what you're most passionate about, even if it makes you uncomfortable! 💗
Wow Paige, thank you so much for taking the time to write that and for being so open and honest. What amazing advice that I will hold onto and cherish! You're so sweet 💛💛
@@KelsAndJay NO, THANK YOU! You have no idea just how much you help so many! 💗
Good thing that man of yours didn't have to go to war. What would you have done then? WTF? Nice driving, and great information about living a nomadic life. Thank you.

👍👍💪🙂👍👍
Unless you try it you don't know how it will go!
Very true! The hardest part is normally taking that first step
@@KelsAndJay definitely agree, the first step of going ahead with it is the toughest, carrying on with it, seeing how you and the task / goal, achieving it as well, the interesting part too
Nice one thank you very much
Very interesting video. Keep it up :-)
That's a lot of words to say "how to get ur back blown out across the country without ur husband knowing"
😦
What a great video I love the introspection but darling I’m old enough to be your mother and I can tell you I still don’t know who I am REALLY and that’s the part I’ve learned to respect about just being! I don’t stress it anymore.
I think you went from home to the UK being on a team of girl BBall players to falling in love with Jay? Am I right??? 😮 So when have you actually been by yourself? I see nothing wrong with your perspective, it actually makes sense, given your journey.
Also I know how daunting it can be to try and please the audience and the algorithm and stay true to your own passions. So my growth will take even twice as long since I’m not following the more successful route when it come to being one thing and shake ya tits for the algorithm🤷🏽♀️
Anyways this was fun. Please know that you are better than OK and I’m here if you ever need me you have my number. Love you guys y’all are so beautiful inside and out 🥰🥰🥰
Oh PS: put another video and the subscribe element in the boxes at the end. They are empty. Not sure if you forgot or wanted to leave it blank but you did all that work so that would take 2 minutes and would help please the algorithm gods 😂 lol
