I’m from England,I think what I’m seeing with my American cousins is they are being abandoned in times of need ,it’s just the same here, us English are last in the queue for everything.our veterans can’t get housing because immigrants gets priority over heroes. The crime in my village is up,it’s always been peaceful and it’s all foreign languages now, they refuse to learn English or abide by our culture and laws,it’s heartbreaking.

Look at what our taxes support. We are paying a trillion dollars a year to the central bank. That is obscene. The next biggest payment goes to the military. Social security is self funded but that money is lent to the Fed. So when the monetsry system collapses it will also collapse.

The problem is that Americans, and westerners in general, do not want to pay more money to buy products made 'at home'. Put two coffee makers on a shelf, one made in the U.S. and one made in China, and if the one made in China is fifty dollars less than the one made in the states, people will buy the cheaper one. And so eventually you cannot find a a coffeemaker made anywhere other than China, and multiply that example by thousands of products.

People need to dig up information on the west coast strike and the jobs lost to automation:
"Long Beach Container Terminal (LBCT) at the Port of Long Beach and Trans Pacific Container Service Corporation (TraPac) at the Port of Los Angeles. Daniel Flaming and Patrick Burns, the authors of the Economic Roundtable report, find that automation reduced dock-work employment at LBCT by 37 to 42 percent, and at TraPac by 24 to 30 percent. At LCBT and TraPac, dockside employment was reduced by 37 to 52 percent and 34 to 37 percent, respectively. The authors write that a conservative estimate finds that automation eliminated 572 jobs annually at the two ports in 2020 and 2021."

A worker from Kroger was telling a customer that the people from North Carolina,Tennessee... are coming down to Georgia to get food due to the hurricane. So get ready for some food shortages .
I work at Dollar General I stock the merchandise onto the shelves.
I noticed today saw firsthand shrinkflation
$1.00 bag of DG regular potato chips were 5 oz in a bigger bag. Now 4 oz smaller size bag
$1.00.I was shocked😮 I showed another employee I've also seen it with cereal smaller boxes and ounces and still paying the same prices regular box unbelievable .

I guess we will have to get used to the idea that we are going to be buying only food produced/made in the USA. I'm wondering if our farmers could keep up with the demand. i knew nothing about this until yesterday…. those that knew i wish they would have spoken up…. then we could do some stocking up… at least given us a change.
i went to walmart today-1 day after i found out and they didnt have much. our walmart sucks anyway because for some reason they refuse to keep items stocked. This is the first day of the strike and they were already out of the cat food I buy.

I've known about it for a month, but I don't rely on the TV media for information. There are many on RUclips sounding the alarm.

Not sure if people are panic buying or buying for the hurricane victims. Went to our Sam's this morning to buy some things for the hurricane victims in our state of NC. It was crowded for a weekday, and every cart we saw had at least one package of toilet paper and paper towels. I'm hoping someone else besides me was buying for the hurricane relief. I think it's poor planning and greed to do a strike now with that devastation from the hurricane. They could have extended the deadline for the strike. I just hope it's over soon!

    Hey.
, I know this comment is late but one of the things the port workers are fighting for is limited robotics bc they are trying to save their jobs in the not to distant future.
