Peter … too bad that guy didn’t mention that the Governor here in MA closed down a hospital in Ayer that is only a few miles from where you saw those illegals living.
only type of journalism to be believed, before the boomers are done voting, they are by far the largest voting block, believes everything on mainstream media . Maybe 10-25% knows the truth, in my opinion. 50% of boomers do realize something is wrong, but they lack discernment to say one way or another, and relationships mean more than truth for people at this stage of their life

The “government” doesn’t pay for anything, it has no money…we the people pay for everything…they use the taxes we pay to do this to us…we are paying for our own demise
I love how Peter doesn’t interrupt ever. He offers opinions and has lots to say , but always allows the person he is interviewing to talk and be the centre . Peter has a wonderful skill at being so polite and allowing people have the stage

Makes me so pissed but let's keep paying for those immigrants coming in! Don't want to hear it either I am American, however my grandparents immigrated however they paved and paid their way and didn't take shit from anyone, always worked! Cannot say the same these days!
That is why Russia sought to engage in altering the political internal discourse. Elevation of corrupt criminals to be thought of as legitimate candidates.
Agreed 💯. And while I agree immigration is a huge problem, so is that a want to be dictator is conning so many Americans to vote for him; he’ll just bully his way through the rest. Americans are fools in that lack of intelligence and critical thinking skills will lead to its demise
Peter, thank you for your work. I’m originally from Ukraine. I became US Citizen last year. It took me 10 years and a lot of effort and money to become American. I did not get any Government money. And I’m proud of it. I don’t understand why I need to pay for these migrants that coming to the US. They can also go get a job and live just like we do.
Same with my Japanese sister-in-law - lots of money, scrutiny. And then there's this. I have a house of young Venezuelan men down the street. All new wheels, riding motor scooters up and down the street. This will not end well for us.
Welcome. Have a friend from Romania. He is a firefighter -paramedic & works & became a citizen. No issues when you come here legally & put into America. My grandparent’s came from Sweden -Finland. Legally ! Wish you al the best !
Yeah I don’t think anyone has even the slightest complaint for anyone coming from Europe. I got off the plane in Seattle the other day-and the first voices I heard were Eritreans yelling in Arabic. The city was beautiful 10 years ago, and now it looks like a wasteland. That’s the issue we have. Ukrainians, Europeans, assimilate, look good, are intelligent and productive, are clean and respectful….thats who we want here, even when housing prices are punishing.
So, I'm from Central Mass also and I cannot believe his dad is in the Suqnots! When he walked out I instantly recognized him but didn't think it was actually him. One of our favorite bands locally!
It's hard to watch knowing I'm an immigrant myself , started from scratch ,raised and educated kids, paid loans. I bought the house, kept two jobs to pay it off. I became the US citizen. I'm retiree paying my Medicare and supplemental insurance. No help whatsoever from county or state. I paid and still paying for those who came to this country as illegal for their insurance, hotels , food. It hurts. A lot to process.
It's just so criminal! You did it the right way, the way our laws state!! My grandparents came through Ellis Island, all four grandparents. I'm only a second generation American. What they are doing now is HIDEOUS. if I were you, I would be mad as hell.
As a Massachusetts resident , I really appreciate all your hard work in showing the truth of our corrupt state, local government and officials along with the pos media 🙏🏻🇺🇸
@mary234 - of course he isn't showing the full picture. He's one guy on limited time with limited resources. But he is showing us part of the picture. And it's very difficult to understand the purported good in filling up motels and hotels with lazy freeloaders from 3rd world countries who have very low IQ and keep making babies they cannot afford.
The migrant hotels are exactly the same in the UK. It's creepy that every country seems to be singing from the same choir book. Hotel not open to the public, heavily guarded, people in black come out and speak to you, will tell you nothing and to leave. Makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck.
yep, its so obvious that the "one world government" thing isnt just a conspiracy. what are the odds that all of these countries have the same exact problems and such. its been a long ongoing plan for longer than people can imagine. its not coincidence that every "leader" is of royal blood, even the presidents of the U.S. well, except for trump that is. is it any wonder "they" are going after him so hard? and again, its not just u.s. people going after him, its a combined effort from multiple countries.
Yup I thought exactly the same. They're always so hostile, weird and cagey about it. Something about it is very unnerving and it's the same both in the UK and the US all of a sudden.
@@dutch_nl5346 Yeah it feels like the same everywhere. It's like one day they all got told what to do/say and now we have these ''hotels'' across the Western world, seemingly overnight, all at once I live quiet in a 15k population town and 2 of our hotels are full of them, and that's just the ones I know about. I've seen the demographic of the town shift massively in the last 2-3 years, where it went from typical small town 99% English, to hearing different languages every single time I go to the town center.
The conspiracy is they are planning a huge war with China and Russia and they need bodies because they know that the young people are too awake to join the draft en mass
Awww Gerald was a great tour guide and Peter, as usual, you and the people you connect with have the ability to get along with everybody and as a result gain information. This was very interesting to say the least. Thanks for the share.
Right. They can keep us divided that way. Psychologically, the number 1 way to decrease prejudice is to interact with the other. Number 1. They want us divided
I lived in Fitchburg as a child. We moved in 1976 to another part of the state. Fitchburg was beginning to die then. Heartbreaking to see that it's even worse now than it was back then. The mills, which employed thousands, all were shutting down, largely because of the EPA cracking down on the pollution. Now you can fish and swim in the Nashua River, but there are few good jobs for the working class.

@@souljaboy.6668well sure, you need a profit in order for it to be a worthwhile venture. I mean if you own a farm but never actually produce anything, you won’t last too long. Regardless this is another dem state, so just send them all there. This is what they want.
Man, this video was a rollercoaster. Positive vibes in the beginning from Gerald (and the other locals)...then a big drop in the pit of my stomach from watching the NGO employees run out and try to hide what's going on. This is the current story of our nation...good local people just getting crushed by bad policies. KEEP SHOWING THE TRUTH - PEOPLE NEED TO SEE THIS!
Do you realize these hotels are owned by private individuals that choose to house migrants because they get paid? Do you understand how insane you sound? The owners obviously don't want to go on record, because they are the ones that chose this arrangement. Go after hotel owners and ask them why they rent to immigrants instead of doing whatever they did before. No one forced them.
As a legal immigrant who has lived in the U.S. for over 12 years, I've never needed food stamps or assistance. But I can tell you, the direction this country is heading in makes no sense. It feels like it's being slowly destroyed, and it seems intentional.
of course it's intentional. You and countless others are used as a wedge issue to further divide the populous. personally my only issue with "migrants" are many have no intention to be "American" a house divided can not stand. Its already untenable, and is growing exponentially worse every year. Sadly we will hit bottom before anything changes, and those responsible will be dead, or out of reach.
I see alot of comments on how expensive it is to live in Massachusetts. I am from Western Massachusetts and recently moved to Florida. I can tell you that the saying “ everything is cheaper in Florida” is a myth. Every single item in the grocery stores here in Florida is more expensive than back in Massachusetts. My car insurance is more than double what I paid in Massachusetts for the same identical coverage. Water is expensive in Florida. I have a small house and my monthly water bill averages around $150. Home owners insurance is insanely expensive due to all the hurricanes. If your roof is more than 10 years old, you can’t even get insurance. Everything is taxed here, food, clothing, etc. Plus the traffic is absolutely horrible no matter where you go. The only way you can escape the overcrowding is to live in the middle of the state away from the coast. But, it’s African jungle hot with no breeze at all like you get in the coastal areas. So, say what you want about Massachusetts not being a good place to live. I am just telling you that Florida is not the paradise everyone thinks it is.

Unfortunately we in San Diego, CA have been experiencing this for years. If the mainstream media was doing their job, Peter would not have to do this. Kudos my friend.

We broke down on Mass turnpike on the way back from vacationing and multiple guys offered to looked at our car. Also, with them taking up so many hotels, how much pressure do illegals put on hotel room prices? I'm sure they're economists at think tanks who have come up with numbers to show how much pressure 22 million illegals have put on the prices of rent, houses and hotel rooms.

@loriTremblay But is Liberal RI any better than MA? I've lived in NY, CT, MA and now NH and this is the only state in the northeast I feel a conservative still has a voice, a chance to win elections. I want to apologize for any wrong information that I gave.Going into filming the video Peter And I were not planning on making the video Migrant oriented but during filming it worked out to make the most sense. I went Into filming on 4 hours of sleep over 3 night's was nervous before shoot. I really should have planned the whole route better and points of contact, there were a few bad apples and people who fell through or times did not match up. Sorry to you Peter and the Audience, Harder to speak in front of Camera than I thought. So to Start I'm writing this before seeing the video. I just want to correct what I said and any wrong or missed info. Wachusett Mountain was purchased by the state in 1900 for $20,000. The word wachusett originated from the Native American term “near the mountain” or "mountain place” .There was a Summit house on top which was a hotel and other amenities which burned down in 1970. The mountain is in Westminster and Princeton. The Crowleys the family who owns the ski resort leases land from the state. Westminster received a good amount of migrant familys which was never discussed in video. Fitchburg and neighboring communities main industry's were mills. Textile mills, paper mills, tool companies etc. The Rivers got polluted From companies dumping dyes into rivers from clothing etc. Fitchburg is also the hilliest town/city in Massachusetts. Sterling Ma is where mary had a little Lamb the poem was made and Sudbury the town right next to Concord is where Henry ford moved the mary had a little lamb schoolhouse along with put up the Grist Mill and renovated the Longfellow Inn the oldest inn in the USA, along with Fords Folly (look into story). A few prisons and hospitals closed in Massachusetts recently. In the Town of Ayer, one of the towns in Video, Nashoba Valley Medical Center, a hospital closed down on August 31st 2024. In Concord the Prison closed down in July of 2024. MCI Concord which is the oldest prison in the state of Massachusetts, started in 1878 closed this year. We went to Fitchburg which I desribed as a rough around the edges town but a New England town with A old school charm and starting to get Better. The reason I call Fitchburg rough (there are way rougher towns in MA Fyi) but the neighboring town Leominster is a lot better maintained and upkept. Leo and Fitch were considered Twin Cities but driving in Fitchburg the roads are way worse, the sidewalks are overgrown and the city is slowly coming back. They are doing some stuff but theres still a feeling of parts being neglected. Fitchburg has a really Nice art Museum and they have Fitchburg state which really helps out the town. Leominster got really bad Flooding last year, a lot of roads, houses, buildings, and highways were flooded and damaged. Cars were underwater in some parts and some parts are still getting rebuilt. Again sorry about my factual mistakes and not being the best guide I could have been, was very nervous. We started filming In Central Mass and made our way over to Historic Concord which is closer to Boston. A lot of towns we drove through are facing the same hotel situations and overall problems that Peter and I investigated. We didn't shed any light on most of the towns, just visited a few during the shoot. Lastly, I'm not on Any side on any of the topics discussed. I'm neutral when it comes to everything going on and everything political. I also want to thank you Peter for letting me be a guide despite my blunders, your a good Guy and I appreciate you giving me a chance. I live in Southern. There is a local hotel with the same storie, plus they took both buildings on either side of it....its called J one with imagination when they work but the employer hase to provide living accommodation. When that expires they apply for asylum and move into one of the buildings next to the hotel with their family's. They are roofers and skilled labor jobs, and high paying jobs ots crazy. Doesn't help they keep raising the minimum wage YoY in MA. Just to think we went from $10/hr to $15/hr in like 4 years and there's current legislation too keep raising it until $20/hr (in 2027). So essentially if you were making $20/hr in 2020 instead of making $10/hr over minimum wage you are making just $5/hr over now, combined with inflation of the USD you are making basically $4.63 more than minimum wage in 2020 lol. Just sucks wage gains for the common person has been wiped out in this state over the past 4 years.

Go after hotel owners and ask them why they rent to immigrants instead of doing whatever they did before. No one forced them.

The government needs to help its own people and not other countries. This infuriates me so much. I literally can't work anymore. I used to build houses and work on houses. Construction is all I know. Now I'm lucky if I can stand for more than 3 minutes before having to sit. I cannot work anymore. But they keep denying me my social security disability. That I've been paying into since 1996 .. .. ..... 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Thank you sooo much for coming to Massachusetts and making this video! Who knew? All these little towns have hotels filled, and even an old prison. And as that man said, if you talk about it, you are called a racist. Very well done. Few know what has been going on … no transparency. There obviously is an agenda.
What are you worried about. We clearly do not trust people like you because you find every reason to be afraid of us when we are human lol..
Peter with the “I’m a human being” response had me cracking up. Awesome stuff man.

Absolutely. I’m going to be looking for these motels in my town. I have seen them working on some of the old ratty ones and have wondered.
Yes especially because we're paying for it..
To show what? That a bunch of uneducated ppl on a post came together to blame a group of ppl for their lack of drive to do better? Massachusetts is one of the few states that offer so much to its residents. If YOU don’t get up off your lazy ass to do so,etching is no one’s fault but your own. Go back to school and get an education, tuition is free in Massachusetts if you go to a CC 😊

It's like this in upstate NY. Most of the hotels are migrant hotels
We broke down on Mass turnpike on the way back from vacationing and multiple guys offered to looked at our car. They diagnosed the issue, one tried to find a jerry rig but didn't have a good enough part. But when I called the mechanic, I was able to ask for exactly what we needed. This help tremendously. My friend and I are middle aged older women, and one of the guys was with his girlfriend, so no ulterior motive. So I found the Mass people some of the most friendly and helpful people.

@@PeterSantenello The only thing you guys got wrong is that Concord is not in central Massachusetts. Concord is a suburb of Boston in eastern Massachusetts. I lived in Concord for three years but lived in the Boston area for 14 years.
It was nice to see some of the beauty of New England as you guys rolled through the streets, especially in the first five minutes of the video and then when you got to Concord (pronounced, "Kon-kerd"). I forgot that hotel existed off of Rt. 2.
Just wondering if you ever talked to an economist about the pressure that illegals are putting on the price of rents throughout America? Also, with them taking up so many hotels, how much pressure do illegals put on hotel room prices? I'm sure they're economists at think tanks who have come up with numbers to show how much pressure 22 million illegals have put on the prices of rent, houses and hotel rooms.

Just so everyone knows, this is costing local Massachusetts taxpayers well over $1 Billion USD per year. Meanwhile, the physical infrastructure in Massachusetts is literally falling apart due to lack of money to fix it.
Roads are terrible and unsafe even in nice towns. A lot of stuff is decaying and tolls went up on busted roads

@@TheLsp92 What’s the meaning of main stream? There’s way more people on their phones on RUclips than watching the news on TV these days, so isn’t RUclips mainstream?
BEST TAKE YET ON 'ALL THINGS BORDER/MIGRANT-RELATED': "...How can we as Americans expect to propagandize the entire world about dreams, through Hollywood, the music industry, and the testimonies of self-made American billionaires, while simultaneously exploiting the labor, crops, and raw earth materials of the developing nations, freezing the economies of our political opponents through trade sanctions, and creating rivalry drug cartels with our insatiable appetite for cocaine, fentanyl, meth, and heroin, and not expect a global economic refugee crisis at the southern border?..." That was from a youtube video report by "Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan", called MIGRANT DETENTION CAMP, and posted 8 months ago. Peter claims to be objective and unbiased, but he sure does ask the leading questions, and somehow never seems to follow through the story completely the way Andrew Callaghan does. Andrew does the *really* hard work to get to the bottom of these very complicated issues. Peter could do better, and I hope he gets there someday.
Appreciate you bringing light to this contentious topic Peter.
The fact he told his dad twice,” I love you” says everything we need to know about that 25 yo! This video was extremely informative, thank you!
Thank you so much it's Gerald!
Gerald, I started reading your post and now cannot find it. I hope you see this. You did an excellent job of showing Peter and all of us around and giving us a true flavor of what it’s like where you live. Any of us would have been nervous, too. You’re clearly an intelligent man; you’re informed and well spoken. Again, VERY good job. There’s no reason for you to second guess yourself and worry about what you could have done differently. My best to you! ❤️
Thank you so much! I appreciate that really does mean a lot
@@GladAndBoujee You’re very welcome. I meant every word. Your video on your own channel shows confidence and enormous capability!
The young man who is driving gives me hope. His advise to pick good friends to hang with is so important. I’m 68. I learned that as a late teenager but I wish I had learned that as an early teenager.
Thank you for nice comment!
I agree, He is pretty amazing.! gives me hope..
I agree.Actually your peers can either give you the make or break of your life.
@@EuniceCarlin you are who your friends are
In Massachusetts we are competing with some of the richest in the world for housing and some of the poorest in the world for jobs.

Damn! That’s fucked up
As a fellow Mass native, this is so painfully accurate.
Just housing? Have you seen rent prices? Expect to pay 30-50% of your income on rent alone if you are single.
I was impressed with Gerald. Like you said, he made your video possible. He's a very smart young man and blessed to have a good family.
I'm watching and hope others do. I always like your videos hoping to push them forward .
God bless you Peter. A discipline for sure. .
Godbless you. Its Gerald thank you very much for the nice comments
@@GladAndBoujee You're welcome Gerald. I subscribed to your channel. Best wishes.
I am pretty informed about the immigration problem, and this was an eye opener for me. You're doing a real service with your videos, Peter. Been watching a long time. Much of what we called media no longer exists except as propaganda.
I live 20 minutes from Fitchburg, thank you Peter for shedding some light on this part of the country. Proud to be from Massachusetts
@Kev58 I lived in eastern Massachusetts, including Concord, for 14 years. I used to think so highly of Boston, where I also lived, and eastern Mass. Today, I would never wanna live there. The lefties have a firm hold of the state and are bound and determined to destroy it. With a governor like Healy and a mayor like Woo Woo, there is no hope.
I'm from Falmouth, on Cape Cod. I can't say I'm "proud" to be from there, with all the psycho liberals there. I moved away 28 years ago... good riddance. The traffic is horrendous there , even year round.
@@thomasluby1754I want to leave so bad but idk where to go. Idk how anyone is surviving here it’s ridiculous
I was the guide i love Fitchburg. Long live the commonwealth
@@GladAndBoujee Although I live in the Midwest now, I grew up in Townsend and still consider Massachusetts home- thank you for being a great ambassador for central MA!
This was the most comprehensive reporting on this I've seen. Thank you. The fact that so much is being done in secret should be concerning to everyone.
There is nothing secret about this at all, it is reported on the local news NON-STOP. This is a completely disingenuous narrative formed in this video.
somehow i think you will never see this reality on CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC etc
As a County employee, I understand that individual "client" identity should be protected, but the provider *agency* should be able to state their funding, their goals, their purpose, and their mission.
