I have to compliment Ravs on beeing a guest star thats very calm, doesnt outshine is party members. And stil plays a very established and memorable character.

This was a really unique and tense fight for sure! The party really needs to invest in stuff for Lucius though. That low AC is destroying him. Johan was also an awesome character and Rav played him so well. Can’t wait to see what happens for the Jingle Jam!
It's been one awesome encounter after another for Quill's trial! Mark, great job designing these, they all felt SO close and tense and super satisfying.
I think because the way they do twinned spells here is by Lucius pulling another orb from the first attack instead of making two seperate orbs iron man style
So mark pulled a forbidden kingdom on yeah, when jet lee character turned out to be a strand of hair from the monkey king. I want Quill to be able to breath a cone of lightning.

That part Rhi duduhduduhed over is important "... you can add you Shield's AC bonus to any Dexterity saving throw you make against a spell or harmful effect *that targets only you* " (pg. 170 of the PHB)
This group is really, REALLY bad at reading the whole of their abilities. Ravs should not have been able to twin chain lightning as it CAN target more than one creature the same way Earthen Grasp can, technically
I find it baffling that Mark hasn't given poor Lucius a ring or cloak of protection. At level 12 your AC should be higher than your overall character level. Also, why on earth does he not have the spell mage armor? It's no wonder he goes down so much.

So now Johan will always be with them, as part of the Spear of Oracles! I listen to these while working and I hate when Mark does the weird sucky noises when things are wounded. Its such a good, creepy, weird sound effect.
