It would be really awesome if they would just sell "samplers" of releases like this. I don't need a full-sized bottle, just give me a chance to experience them. I think a lot of people, myself included, would pay $100+ for a sampler set of the BTAC in sizes like what you received. Rant over, loved the video. Keep up the great work.
Had the pleasure of trying 3 of these and it wasn't even close for me with thomas h handy #1, GTS #2 and WLW # 3. Nobody ever wants to give credit to the THH but this one is the bomb. Love the video!
@@rthilson Most stores around here don't sell to flippers and the number of bottles that get flipped is relatively low. In order to get this kind of stuff you have to be a loyal customer of the store and know the store owner or manager. Flippers aren't the problem here. Scarcity and the low MSRP are. Cracking open the bottles at checkout won't make them any easier to obtain.

As someone that is self taught in cooking and LOVEs to cook Mexican food I will say that Cilantro and Coriander are the same plant. In the US Cilantro means the stems and leaves and Coriander are the seeds.

Ha, I totally got the necklace reference. My wife always gets them knotted up and gives them to me to "fix". I REALLY want to get my hands on that GTS. The only BTAC I have been lucky enough to buy at retail is WLW. I have had pours of several GTS's and always enjoy them.

in 2020 between me and a friend we found 2 bottles of Thomas handy 1 Sazerac 18 year 1 George T Stagg 1 WLW and van winkle lot b paid $99-$119 per bottle so lucky will never happen again thank god for covid..... in 2021 I won a lottery got the WLW and the wife won a lottery got Eagle Rare 17 !!!
Is BTAC even relevant anymore? It might as well not even exist. Buffalo Trace as a whole is nothing but a hype factory. I'm convinced they're not even a distillery at this point.

Coriander and cilantro is the same thing. Its btac its probably good for 150 and under. Ive had a few of them and while great they werent the best whiskies id ever had.

Bottle wise I understand not getting one but you can try a taste for $50 in thousands of places if you save up
