Oh Yeah! I’m glad you got stuck in Vegas and I’m glad we got to link up! I really appreciate the review and I absolutely love your commentary you did on this video with Jason😁 BTW I bought that DJI Osmo pocket 2 because of you and I love it.
Enjoy watching your videos man! You make the tastings, hunts, etc fun and easy to watch! I’m getting my collection up! Scored my first pappy (12) this year! Hoping for a GTS in the near future!
I have the Stagg 2022 and I was able to do a blind with someone that had the WLW. So Stagg won the blind for me and him and I was blown away by the Stagg.
Virginia Black is 39.99 MSRP. I buy it by the case at a local store who will order it just for me every 3 months or so. It’s not a great whiskey but it’s a fun gift and easy mixer for cocktails etc..
I was able to try the the BTAC Stagg this weekend and it was fantastic. Basically it tasted like regular buffalo trace but turned up as far as you can take it. It was smooth and delicious. I wish I could have brought the bottle home. I also tried the Pappy 10, 15, and 23. The Pappy 15 was the best bourbon I’ve ever had. Tasted like weller but a better mouth feel and with a surprising green apple note. It was awesome.
I paid $400 dollars for a W.L.W. pour in Estes Park recently. I never had the opportunity to have any Weller products, in fact I didn't know they existed until Brewzle's videos. I purchased a 1.5ounce pour of Full Proof, and the aforementioned. $675 later, after tip, I had the single greatest whiskey experiences of my life. Was it worth the price? Maybe. The William Larue Weller was nothing short of the single best tasting liquid I had ever tasted. Even my wife thought it was very good [and she only likes beer, wine, and one gin, tequilla, scotch, and no other spirits]. That said, no liquid is worth that price point, no matter how complex/interesting/devoid of alcohol burn. Buffalo Trace figured out how to purchase great flavor profiles.
Fly the wife and kids home on a plane and be sure to buckle up those bottles to ensure safe passage. 😂 Ensure you look at Pikesville Rye. It’s outrageously delicious. The viscosity and/or legs as you will notice crawling down the sides of the glass is second to none although it’s 110 proof it sips like 90 and the mash I’ll is quite low on rye when considering other similar rye s. If anyone is skeptical on rye, this is the one to try
So lucky. Great flight of BTAC I agree El weller just over stagg. But damn it was close. That is what is so great we all have different palate and taste preferences. So no one is wrong. Just what ever we enjoy. Thanks for sharing. Cheers 🥃
Im really curious how close wlw is to weller 12, as weller 12 is one of my least favorite whiskies ive had. Oh btw, you got that virginia black for about msrp. Its real bad.
I've got neighbors that still have their lights up. Granted, we just got 14" of snow in the last storm and it was below zero this morning, so I don't blame them for not wanting to go outside and take all those lights down.
Nice! I am going to Vegas first week in March and will have a rental car the first day. Might need to convince the wife we are doing some Bourbon Hunting! I'm from MN and we don't get much here.
Hey Brewzle. A fellow Alabamian here. I live in LA (Lower Alabama for those not in the know). Headed to ATL in the morning for the July NASCAR event. Any suggestions for where to locate hard to find bourbon on the way up? Heading I-65 to I-85. Thanks!
How were the prices at that Pahrump liquor store? I imagine based on the selection in that glass nothing is close to msrp. I usually only go to Pahrump for guns and ammo but will stop in there if prices are fair.
i always wondered why people cared so much about alcohol, like why put so much work into a drink to get drunk , but i think it’s the same as weed how u can roll a beautiful joint that takes forever and get just as high but it’s fun and i’m glad i found this realization
@@Brewzle It doesn't need to be boring. You have a good number of fans here in Vegas. Just post which bar you will be hanging out at and people will show up.
Have you been to the Downtown Whiskey Bar Oak and Ivy? It's by the El Cortez in the container park... awesome selection of whiskey! 8 years ago they turned me on to Noah's Mill!

Kudos to the guy who open and shared with his buddy's those BTAC bottles. We all need a friend like him in our lives!!! Hat off Sir!!!
What's the point in having it if you can't share it with your mates
New to bourbon terminology… what is btac? Thank you

I enjoy great Bourbon, but it's always better shared with friends. But yes, dude was very generous!

This guy freaking gets it. The guy sharing is what whiskey is FOR
Nailed it!!! Great to see whiskey being ENJOYED and appreciated and not just glamorized.
I was dying at “ me and you go may go roll around in the yard for a while” 😂
Just met the guy, wasn’t sure how he was going to take that but Raj is cool.

Bro!! I love how you keep it real and humble. Thank you for that!! You are just you; and that’s what drives my wife and I to your video.

Thanks and that's a good score!
You might just be one of the luckiest bourbon hunters I’ve seen on RUclips!
Agreed.. seems he has great friends as well tho
It’s the friends, not the luck
@@Brewzleits always the friends. Most important part of the hobby

Best video I've watched in a long time, thanks for telling a story and sharing our adventure with us
Best combo. BBQ and bourbon. Love it.
Really enjoy this format of videos. Killing it man!
WLW 2022 is the best whiskey I have ever tried. I'll probably never have it again but the one pour I had was so out of this world good.
Yum!! Great selections!!! Gotta have a friend pick up a Hancock’s. Loved the one I lucked into and have not found one since.
Thomas H Handy is the best rye I've ever tried and it's not really close.

"Bourbon is meant to be shared and enjoyed with friends" amen brother
Love the added comedy to the tasting experience
What an awesome experience. Sharing is the key to enjoying good Bourbons for sure.
That is a trip and a haul! Thankfully my pocket book appreciates you buying, well, everything, before I get there next week!

The only one I’ve been after is the 17 Eagle. Or the double eagle. The collection is great, but woo boy some mad $
That was some collection you picked up in Vegas!

No room for the whiskey fly the kids and wife back home ahead, more room lol.
For your top ryes for people that don't like rye, Sagamore Double Oak Rye
Si, great content as always!
Mix it all in a 5 gallon bucket and scoop it out with red solo cup. It's just corn water. 🤣
Damn I wish I found your channel a year ago, I would love to done some bourbon hunting in Vegas with the master!
What a collection! I’ll just stay drinking the OWA.
Nothing wrong with that
I'm curious to see how you fly all your bottles home safely, I'd be stressed af

Love your videos ! I’m in Minnesota and can’t even get close to touching these here :( any way to get these to me in anyway let me know !
You should've sold his bbq sauce/seasonings a little more cause you didn't make it seem like they were very good
I love your content, even if it's risking my financial security hahaha. Helping me along my newly found Bourbon journey!
As someone who lives in Las Vegas this is confusing AF like.
The average las vegas whiskey hunter is not getting any of this stuff
Try old Pali road whiskey! Hawaiian water infused
Virginia Black whiskey isn't even sold in Virginia anymore, because it got mediocre reviews and no one wanted it, so the stores no longer carry it.
Hey bro Raj is the only decent shopping Pahrump... Back off! 🤣
Good video
Wow what I would do to try those
Forgetting you own a WLW hurts my soul
I have a bottle of 2018 George T Stagg

Ya know a fella has been around the Filipinas when he calls it Lumpia/egg rolls. Just be careful if they offer you Chocolate Rice 😮
How? How ? HOW…. did he land those bottles?
Wow
Noice!
As much as I like your videos, there’s a reason, besides being good whiskey, bottles are hard to find. You guys buy up all the bottles.
If its on the shelf, buy it.
I really wanted too try them but I prolly never be able too without paying a arm and legs for them
Lets all chip in any buy this guy a new liver...
I need a better class of friends. Seems I’m the only one who likes “buying” good whiskey.😂
Why does he look so much like Hafthor Bjornsson with a hat on.
🔥🔥🔥
I thought the feds. Set the prices of hard liquor.
So are the stores marking it up?
ill buy them off you
Tired of Vegas and I still haven't been :(
I'm a little jealous that I wasn't invited!
sorry about that, next time
