Crossing the Rhine as we travel between the 2 major Cologne stations- 10th April 2024

We travel between the main station in Cologne, Hauptbahnhof, across the Rhine River on the Hohenzollern bridge which has 6 tracks. We arrive at the busy Messe Deutz station just the other side of the river.
This must be one of the busiest stretches of railway line in Europe and can be easily watched from the footpath running alongside the line.
