We spend a fantastic morning and the Epping and Ongar railway with 50021 having a special running day. The trains were busy with class 50 fans enjoying some 50 haulage , with assistance from 20227 for the Epping Forest run and with the second train to Ongar when 50021 developed fuel pump problems shortly after leaving North Weald station.

We spend a couple of hours watching trains at the busy Perth Station where trains cross Scotland from Glasgow and Edinburgh in the south to Dundee. Aberdeen and Inverness in the north.

We see full size and model class 805s at Chester on the 10th August with 805011 and 805005 forming a train to London and oo scale models running at Chester Cathedral on Pete Waterman's Making Tracks 4, Watford Junction, layout.
