    I am Mehdi Hasan, from a small town in Bangladesh. I want to travel all over the world, because I live in a small town in Bangladesh. I am stuck in a corner of the world. • @SyifaAdriana
      @SyifaAdriana  Месяц назад

      Greetings Tomasz! Yes I wasnt planning to travel around Romania as my Schengen visa was running out of time. I only did a train journey as I had my Qatar flight booked to Malaysia and Mongolia from Bucharest. Romania is some of the most notoriously difficult visas to obtain, even now that they are part of Schengen zone. Some of the documents I have to obtain as an Indonesia would be really challenging so it will be some time until I’ll get to travel Romania properly 😊

    • @CataVlad21
      @CataVlad21 Месяц назад

      @@SyifaAdrianawe arent technically in Schengen yet. Just naval and aerial Schengen for now. If we were also in terrestrial Schengen, your visa for any other member country was gonna be enough to come here as well! No additional requirements.

    • @SyifaAdriana
      @SyifaAdriana  Месяц назад +1

      @@CataVlad21 Hi Cata! Yes you are correct with that information however if I were to apply for a Romanian tourist visa, it’s still categorically a Schengen visa application to the Romanian consulate in Manchester, which I have to do with my residency in the UK.

    • @CataVlad21
      @CataVlad21 Месяц назад

      @SyifaAdriana oh i see. Still, wouldnt it help if you applied for any country where the process is much easier, neighbouring a country you wanna visit, and then just cross over into where you really wanna go and visit? For example apply for Hungary (assuming it's easier to get) and then visit both RO and BG (assuming they are harder to get than HU)? Especially after both of us get accepted into full Schengen Area, when you will cross even more easily!
      And this should help for other countries in the Shengen Area that have same kind of demanding procedures, or maybe other places on Earth too where 2 or more countries have these kind of free travel agreements and one has more laborious visa demands than the other...
      Anyways, i just subbed and cant wait for your RO visit 😁 if you ever need help with setting up an itinerary or good places to eat or idk what other RO related info, pls dont hasitate to quote me and i will glady help out make that trip be a tiny bit easier to plan! 😊
      Have a great time in Mongolia or wherever you might be right now! 😁

It is the country of my mother's ancestors - she grew up in Transilvania in a village near Bistriţa. She came to Austria during WW2. Hello dear Syifa,
    so nice to see how easy it was for you to cross the border with your visa - you have really deserved it for all the hustle to get it!!
    I've seen all of your Hungarian voyage, and commented already quite in some detail... overall it was amazing, and more than I could expect of hope for - it was fantastic!!
    I think what makes your style of filming so special and unique, is your naturally so open personality... you can win over a complete stranger in seconds to speak, getting filmed, laugh with you, and leave sometimes with a hug or a kiss on the cheek... its such a friendliness and intimacy...
    ...and it comes so much across, that we can receive it even via the screen, and feel it for ourselves... your whole trip through Hungary was like this, and I have so warm memories of the people, that you met. For me that absolutely works best and magically, so I can't think of any recommendations for you of what you could do better... just be yourself, thats the main thing.
    I already know that I will love any new video of yours, even before I see it, because of you being you. I'm a bit similar, and when I travel, I easily make contact and even, if time allows, get into deep, longer conversations... it doesn't get better in my opinion. Thus travelling is not just 'interesting' or 'nice', but its falling in love with the people, the cultures, the countries...
    from 0 - 5 stars I'll give you: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - 😊

    Very nice video (like all of yours) with lots of images that looked familiar to me and reminded me of my latest trip in Europe in 2023 that also included travelling from Hungary to Romania! I used trains several times in Hungary but took a bus from Budapest to Cluj. My further travels in Romania were partly by train and partly by bus/minibus. It was my first time in Romania, I spent about 2 weeks in Transylvania and another 2 weeks in the Danube Delta, skipping Bucharest, and I really loved it. @@do.ro99 Hi hi! Sorry if I sounded irritated on my earlier comment and thanks for your suggestion. I think it came across more as a comparison done by people coming from both Romanian and Hungarian trying to convince tourists that one is better than the other. I just dont appreciate that kind of attitude however Ive had Romania on my list for long! The Ro Schengen visa is some more the complex one to obtain and Romania as a country is so massive. I had run out of time with my 30 day previous Schengen visa and had a flight to catch up for my speaking engagements in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

    Actually, it is impossible to smuggle between Hungary and Romania. Since April Romania is part of Schengen and consequently there is free movement of people and goods, there is no tariffs, nothing to smuggle. For political (read nonsense) reasons there is still land border control. Some countries objected against admission of Romania and Bulgaria into Schengen due to corruption and illegal migration so they made some convoluted deal that land border controls remain in place like they remain outside of Schengen, but by air there is no border control and they are fully part of Schengen. I guess one has to be a politician to understand that logic.

    • @SyifaAdriana
      @SyifaAdriana  Месяц назад +1

      Thanks for sharing this info, fascinating to read! I knew that there's no air border control between Romania and the rest of Schengen zone, considering that Bulgaria and Romania are a new addition to the list. Hope you enjoyed watching this video.
