I am glad that there is a tourist who shows not only Budapest, I hope you saw the 9-hole bridge in Hortobágy, I hope you get to Szeged, the Szeged cathedral is there. Don't miss Visegrád, the city of Eger, the Danube Bend, visit Héviz if you like the thermal bath, it's a very beautiful lake, Google will show you them, I'm waiting for the next experience report, and welcome to our place! :-)

Katica!! Thank you so much! Your words truly touched me, and I’m incredibly grateful for your kindness and support. I feel so lucky to have such amazing people like you xx
I love it so much when somebody wants to experience not only the tourist attractions, but the backbone of a country. I live on this part of the country and I appreciate people like Bela and Attila, because they are the ones who provide us with the comfort we have.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I completely agree-there’s something so special about experiencing the heart and soul of a country, beyond just the tourist attractions. Meeting people like Bela and Attila truly made my time in Hungary unforgettable, and I’m so grateful for the work they do to support the community. It’s people like them who bring so much warmth and authenticity to these experiences. 😊
I was born in eastern Hungary and raised in the suburbs of Debrecen. Hortobágy has a special place in my heart for some reason :) The way you presented the unique nature of the eastern side of hungary is absolutely fantastic! :) Have a great time in Hungary! :)
Thank you so much for your kind words! It’s wonderful to hear that Hortobágy holds a special place in your heart. I’m really happy that you enjoyed how I presented the unique nature of eastern Hungary-it’s such a beautiful and captivating part of the country. Wishing you all the best, and I hope you continue to enjoy my journey through Hungary! 😊
Hey Syifa, I am Hungarian and was absolutely fascinated by this video. As an introvert person it was amazing to see you interacting with my fellow Hungarians, and to see your open-minded and curious approach towards our culture and people. What one usually gets from travel videos about Hungary is 'lángos' and 'goulash' and the (really spectacular) building of Pairlament, but this video really is something else. The world is filled with wonderful places and wonderful people, and you have just showed us that the real wonder and magic can be found anywhere in the world if we are open to embrace it. As to the Great Hungarian Plain, I always thought that there is some 'wild west' feeling to it. Especially, in the 19th century there were the 'betyár' (outlaws), and there are many songs and legends about their deeds. For example about the famous outlaw, 'Sándor Rózsa'. And a sunset in Hortobágy can be very similar to a sunset in the African savannah, but unfortunately we have no cheetahs or elephants, just birds and various livestock:) Anyway, your personality is charming and amazing and wishing you all the best discovering our world.
Thank you so much for your beautiful message! It means the world to me that you found the video fascinating and that it showed a different side of Hungary. I really wanted to go beyond the usual highlights and connect with the people and places that make the country so special. Hungary has such a rich culture and history, and hearing about the “wild west” feel of the Great Hungarian Plain and the legends of the betyárs is incredible-I love learning about these stories! The sunset in Hortobágy was magical, and I can totally see the comparison to the African savannah, even without the cheetahs and elephants. 😊 I’m so grateful for your kind words about my approach to travel and interaction with locals. The world truly is full of wonders, and I’m thrilled to be able to share that with people like you. Wishing you all the best, and thank you again for watching and for your kind words! 😊
I agree with you. But most people just know these things you mention. But Hungary is so much more then Budapest. Langos and Goulash. I'm a Swede living outside Sumeg since 7 years and just love to live here.
I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed your time in Hungary! I had a similar experience-while Budapest is beautiful and full of amazing people, I found that the warmth and friendliness of those outside the city really stood out. It’s always special to connect with locals in smaller towns and countryside areas. Thanks for sharing!
Just like in other countries, people in the capital cities are just rushing from A to B point and they are usually tired of tourists. xD Even in Japan people outside of Tokyo are tend to be friendlier.
The video part at 18:59 about trains is taken in Szeghalom, the town where I lived during my childhood, it was very good feeling to see it in your video. I was also glad to see Debrecen and Békéscsaba because these were the "big cities" for me as a child, we went to these cities quite often. The whole video has a very good vibe, you have a very good sense of contacting people, thank you for the whole Hungarian series.
Thank you so much for sharing this with me! I’m so glad the video connected with you in this way. I truly appreciate your kind words about the series and my interactions with people-it’s been an unforgettable experience! Thank you again for watching, and I’m so happy you enjoyed the Hungarian series. 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words! I completely agree-life in rural areas truly reflects the heart and soul of a country. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video, and I really appreciate your support. All the best to you too! 😊

It was nice to see again how easily you can charm people with your kindness and cheer vibes. In Hungary people normally don't chat too much with strangers on buses and trains. Not because they aren't kind or because they are introverts. It's just a cultural thing rooted deeply in our society. Maybe that's why it is so nice to see your openness towards Hungarian locals and to experience how your kind approach and positive vibes make them open up and get chatty. This is a gift and I truly believe you bring a fresh and much needed change into anyone's life you get in touch during your travelling. So I really enjoyed the part where you met that girl on the bus to Békéscsaba - you two seemed to be soul mates 😉
Thank you so much for your lovely message! I’m really touched by your kind words. It’s interesting to learn more about Hungarian culture and how people normally don’t chat with strangers on public transport. I’m glad that my openness and positive vibes helped people feel comfortable enough to open up-I truly believe those little moments of connection make travel so special. Meeting Katica on the bus to Békéscsaba was such a highlight, and I’m so happy you enjoyed that part too! It really did feel like we were soul mates for that moment. 😊 Thank you again for watching and for your thoughtful comment!
Thank you so much! I completely agree-Hungary is a beautiful country, and the hospitality of the people has been truly wonderful. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! 😊

oh yes! There's nothing better than getting into the heart of rural life. It showcases the genuine essence of a country and its populace. Although, I'm a mountain lover I quite enjoyed virtually exploring and touching the soul of Hungarian rural life along with you. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I completely agree-there’s something truly special about getting into the heart of rural life. It really gives you a deeper understanding of a country and its people. I’m so glad you enjoyed exploring Hungarian rural life with me, even as a mountain lover! It means a lot to know that it resonated with you. 😊
...this has been such a treat, Syifa, a countryside trip through eastern Hungary - loved it!! And the way you bump into the perfect encounters is just stunning, right from the beginning, with Bela the 'horse whisperer'. He has an amazing energy of love and peace around him... and you can see how relaxed and cared-for the animals were behaving... when he said, that they are just like us, but without thinking, I got goosebumps... ...then off to Debrecen (never heard of it, and its the 2nd biggest town in Hungary - I feel embarrassed)... such a relaxed flair... I'd be happy to study there! And the 3 African students were so sweet, and looked quite relaxed and happy - what an atmosphere right in the centre of town (with the best coffee shop)! And then on the (air-conditioned) busride to Doboz, you met Katica, right next to your seat!!. You really looked and felt like sisters!! And the super-sweetest moment of the whole video was, when the two of you stood at the station, and didn't want to let go of another, just beaming at each other (and the camera) and not stopping giggling!! 😃😄 I think one of the things that kept me off visiting Hungary is, that the language is so different, that I would have felt easily isolated and lost. But today thats no longer a point, as you show with your direct translation device - awesome!! And this countryside trip also proves again, how people have more time, and are more open there - its so much easier to get in contact, than in the big cities. I can only repeat: I enjoyed this video so, so much! Thank you, Syifa! 😍⭐🌍
Thank you so much for your beautiful message, Jorn, as always! I’m thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the countryside trip through eastern Hungary as much as I did. Bela truly was a special person-his love and peace radiated, and you’re right, the connection he has with his animals was incredible to witness. understand how the language barrier might feel intimidating, but you’re right-the translation device really helped make those connections smoother. Plus, the warmth and openness of the people in the countryside made everything feel so natural. I’m so happy this video resonated with you, and thank you again for your kind words and support. It means the world to me! 😊🌍❤
It was a great feeling to watch ,thank you very much for this wonderful video , life is so beautiful when you live in peace with yourself and nature ! Have a nice day , greetings from Budapest 🙂
Thank you so much! I’m really happy to hear that you enjoy the videos and find them like a geography class. Your support means a lot to me! Sending gratitude and love all the way to Brazil! 😊
Loving your Hungarian series so far! Yeah, that much luggage was probably a huge pain in the bumm, taking away part of the fun, but, man, did you get to see some awesome places!!! That guy's ranch was a corner of heaven! 😍
Haha indeed Vlad! I naturally dont travel with such a massive luggage but this was a 2-month trip that also included a speaking engagement in Malaysia requiring formal attires, then a 3 week trip to Mongolia which requires much thicker clothing.
@@SyifaAdriana Gotcha! Well, tbh, i travelled for 3 days to a neighbouring country by coaches without any business attires and still had a backpack and a trolley as big as yours 🤣
really impressed with the quiet relaxing style of this video, works especially well for a video about the Puszta. Well done! If you are staying in Hungary longer I really recommend the villages of Páty, Tihany or Visegrád, the city of Pécs and Bükki National Park. I'm excited to see more of your videos on my country!
Thank you so much! I’m really glad to hear that the quiet, relaxing style of the video resonated with you-especially for a place like the Puszta. Your support means a lot, and I’m excited to share more of my adventures in your beautiful country! 😊
Stumbled upon your channel and I'm very inspired by your courage to leave Indonesia, travel the world & found your other half while traveling. Love how your personality shines through as well during your interaction and exploration into the rural areas. I wish I could do that more often too while still sticking to my 9-5 job😅
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really touched that you found my journey inspiring. It hasn’t always been easy, but traveling and exploring new places has been so rewarding, especially in the rural areas where I get to connect with amazing people. I totally understand the challenge of balancing travel with a 9-5 job, but even small trips can bring a lot of joy! Wishing you all the best in finding your own adventures. 😊
Dear Syifa, It was so heartwarming to see that you visited my hometown, Debrecen, too.😊 It's really appreciated you have so much interest also in the countryside, not just in the typical and well-known tourist destinations of Budapest. I hope you had a bit more time in Debrecen not just we saw in the vlog🙂 hopefully you could walk in the Nagyerdő and visited the university, too. If you had visited 1 month ago (20th August), you could have seen the wonderful famous flower carnival in Debrecen, maybe next time🙂 Dear Syifa, best wishes and enjoy your next travellings, too!🙂
Thank you so much for your lovely message! I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed seeing Debrecen in the video. It’s such a beautiful city, and I’m so glad I could explore beyond the typical tourist spots in Budapest. Thank you again for your kind wishes, and I hope to visit again soon. Best wishes to you as well!
Another fascinating insight into a way of life so different from the one most experienced daily. Hungary seems to be a country not yet afflicted with the many social issues that now plague others. Long may it remain so. You have a lot of confidence to travel alone to so many countries.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you found the video insightful. Traveling alone has definitely been a rewarding journey, and I’m grateful for the confidence it’s given me to explore so many wonderful places. 😊
Siyfa Adriana, I've been following you for a long time, I love your approaches to remote places and your simplicity. The most beautiful smile I've ever seen, you exude friendliness, you're wonderful. Congratulations! THE BEST ENGLISH THAT I UNDERSTAND ALMOST EVERYTHING!
Good morning! Thank you so much for your kind words. It truly is an amazing and beautiful place. Sending a big, strong, and warm hug right back to you from afar! 😊
Szia Syifa, köszönöm szépen for this lovely video. I loved especially your meetings with the various people, Béla, the 2 Kenyan and the Ugandan girls and Katica. It's always a pleasure to see how people react so friendly to you and are willing to talk to you and tell you their stories.
Thank you Diz, for your kind words! 😊 I’m so glad you enjoyed the video, especially the moments with Béla, the Kenyan and Ugandan girls, and Katica. It’s always such a joy to meet wonderful people along the journey, and I feel so grateful for their openness and willingness to share their stories with me.
Me gustan tus videos porque muestran las zonas no tan conocidas turisticas de los paises, la vida real de esos lugares no tan masificados de gente. Es lo que a mi me gusta cuando puedo viajar por placer. Saludos desde Santa Fe, Argentina.
Thank you so much! I’m really glad to hear that you enjoy the videos, especially the focus on the less touristy areas and real-life experiences. That’s exactly what I love to show-the authentic life in these places. Sending love to Santa Fe, Argentina! 😊
Such a beautiful scenery in rural Eastern Hungary. Following your journey and exploring these stunning places is a joy. Wishing you a fantastic week filled with blessings and good health. 👍👍
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you’re enjoying the journey and exploring these beautiful places with me. Wishing you a fantastic week as well, filled with blessings and good health! 😊
When I was at Hortobagy NP I at first was disappointed, found the landscape pretty boring till I ran into a troupe practicing for the horsemanship shows. That was really impressive and turned it into the highlight of my Hungary trip.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I can understand how the landscape of Hortobágy might seem a bit quiet at first, but it’s amazing how those unexpected moments-like the horsemanship show-can turn everything around. I’m glad it became a highlight of your trip!
@@aloabandigyereke Would love to but I had a tight filming schedule which only allowed me to stay at one place for a certain period of time. Appreciate your comment 😊
Hortobágy, the Great Plain is a very fascinating steppe in real life, that your video failed to mirror, but that's normal. I loved the mystique of it, the absolute loneliness. you are doing a great job travelling places, 99.9% of the tourists wouldn't even touch. Anything east of the river Tisza is actually protestant, apart from the very catholic Szeged. I travelled all my life on my own, backpacking. Never had any insurance but then I was lucky: never needed any. are you doing west of Hungary as well?
Békéscsaba is my hometown, I still live here today. It's a very pleasant city to live in, everything is here, it's homely. Békéscsaba a szülővárosom, itt is élek ma is. Nagyon kellemes élhető város, minden megvan itt, otthonos.
Hi Adam! Hungary has many many wineyards and wine producing regions like Tokaj, Villány, Eger, Balaton felvidék and many more. Highly recommended to visit.
Thank you so much! I feel incredibly lucky to have had these special experiences in your beautiful country. It’s been such a joy to connect with the people and places beyond the usual tourist spots. Thank you for the warm welcome-I truly appreciate it!
Hi! I'm starting to respect you more and more. Carrying out such a journey is no small thing. Outside of the tourist areas, you rarely see foreigners here. Cities with universities are, of course, exceptions. The usual additional information: 3:14 Russian-made motor train. Originally, it was also red-grey, but it was repainted blue due to the desire for a uniform design. During the communist era, the Soviet Union accumulated debts towards Hungary. This was repaid with these motor trains. They are similar to the Budapest metro, not by chance. Both were manufactured by the same company. That is why it was also called the "pusta metro" at one time. 4:18 the iconic animal of Hortobágy is the gray cattle. 4:34 the name of the color of the horse with a white spot on its forehead is star. The communist past can be discovered in many places in Hungary. E.g.: the 8-10-storey tower blocks used as apartments, public sculptures. The Békéscsaba bus station is also such a building. There is a similar one at the Budapest Déli railway station. It performs operational functions.
Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words and for the fascinating additional information! It’s always great to learn more about the history and details of the places I visit. I really appreciate you sharing the background on the motor train, the gray cattle, and the "star" marking on the horse. It’s amazing how much of Hungary’s communist past can still be seen in the architecture and public spaces. It’s definitely been an eye-opening journey, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to explore these areas beyond the usual tourist spots. Thank you again for your support and insight!
Im a swede. but lives near Lake Balaton now. But i been traveling a little on the Puszta and its an amazing place. But its so big so you need a week or more to see it more then just some small spots.
Thank you for sharing that! It’s amazing that you live near Lake Balaton now-what a beautiful place to call home. I agree, the Puszta is incredible, and its vastness really requires more than just a short visit to fully appreciate all it has to offer. I’d love to spend more time exploring it someday. 😊
@@SyifaAdriana . Me to want to spend more time on the Puszta and also some time with Matra mountain. It's a wonderful country and so much history is saved, buildings, traditions, food.
Hi Syifa, I just find your youtube account when I try to know about Hungary from Indonesian traveler. I like your traveling to rural Hungary and I like your english accent bcz its easy listening for Indonesian people like me. Thanks for this video and I hope you're always healthy ❤
When I visited Debrecen in 2021, that old Mini Cooper was parked at the very same spot. Seems like it's still owned by the same person. Good to see that they take care of it and still keep it on the road despite its old age.

You are a breath of fresh air among youtubers and travel channels.
A great video. The country is beautiful and the people are hospitable.
.
Thank you so much! I completely agree-Hungary is a beautiful country, and the hospitality of the people has been truly wonderful. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! 😊

I love Hungary, especially the cinema, history and architecture of Budapest.
Greetings and love from Brazil to the Hungarian people!🇧🇷❤🇭🇺
Bp is noz Hungary. Just a city with lots of trash. Go to Veszprém Country, Vas, Zala, Somogy....
You always meet kind and lovely people ❤
Thank you! I feel so fortunate to meet such kind and lovely people on my travels. It’s those connections that make the journey truly special.
What a lovely video, everyone was so friendly. You have such a warm, radiant aura, people must be drawn to you. Thank you for showing us!
Your travel video always top notch, so informative, adventurous with full of positivity and good vibe.
Hello again syifa Adriana I'm really happy to see your RUclips again thank you for sharing.😊
Thank you for providing great insight into rural Hungary.
...this has been such a treat, Syifa, a countryside trip through eastern Hungary - loved it!!
I think one of the things that kept me off visiting Hungary is, that the language is so different, that I would have felt easily isolated and lost.
Szuper videó volt, tele érzelmekkel, nagyon tetszett!
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed the video and that the emotions came through for you. Your support means a lot! 😊

You are talented as a blogger , captivating and interesting
I'm brazilian, but I love Hungary!

I'm also Brazilian and I love Hungary. My family came to Brazil from Hungary 110 years ago!
I was born in Hungary, I fell in love with Brazil! 🇧🇷
I love your videos, they are so cute 🥰! Krisztián from Hungary .
really impressed with the quiet relaxing style of this video, works especially well for a video about the Puszta.
Another amazing video Syifa ❤thanks for sharing them
Stumbled upon your channel and I'm very inspired by your courage to leave Indonesia, travel the world & found your other half while traveling.
I always love to see your travel blog which has been excellent, awesome, and wonderful. Besides, your English script is so good.
Dear Syifa,
It was so heartwarming to see that you visited my hometown, Debrecen, too.😊 It's really appreciated you have so much interest also in the countryside, not just in the typical and well-known tourist destinations of Budapest.
I hope you had a bit more time in Debrecen not just we saw in the vlog🙂 hopefully you could walk in the Nagyerdő and visited the university, too.
If you had visited 1 month ago (20th August), you could have seen the wonderful famous flower carnival in Debrecen, maybe next time🙂
Dear Syifa, best wishes and enjoy your next travellings, too!🙂
Thank you so much for your lovely message!
9:50 The Great Church in Debrecen is the largest Reformed (Calvinist) church in the world. It wouldn't have been a bad idea to go in and show it off.
Hi Syfia nice to see you again . I like your video a lot . Anyway we are plan to travel to Budapest , Prague and Vienna . Greetings from Norway.
Another fascinating insight into a way of life so different from the one most experienced daily. Hungary seems to be a country not yet afflicted with the many social issues that now plague others. Long may it remain so. You have a lot of confidence to travel alone to so many countries.
Budapest has always been a different world compared to rural Hungary.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you found the video insightful. Traveling alone has definitely been a rewarding journey, and I’m grateful for the confidence it’s given me to explore so many wonderful places. 😊
Hungary looks like a very clean and safe country, people are very friendly.
Yes James indeed! Thanks so much for watching!
Truly is.
I love Hungry ❤️❤️❤️✋🌹
Thank you for visiting Hungary.❤
I saw all of your videos. ❤

Thank you so much! I’m really glad to hear that you enjoy the videos, especially the focus on the less touristy areas and real-life experiences. That’s exactly what I love to show-the authentic life in these places. Sending love to Santa Fe, Argentina! 😊

@@SyifaAdriana Its our pleasure, Adriana.....
You are probably the first person to call that 70s contraption of Békéscsaba bus station "cute", but your positivity is refreshing, thank you!
Hello Syifa, if you are here yet - visit Doboz-Szanazug (its a little holiday village near from you), ang Gyula city. Very nice places.
Protestantism is really quite common all over Hungary, you can find protestant churches almost everywhere.
True
Another great video! Keep them coming!
Thanks for showing everything from there 😊
I'm living in Hortobágy. :) I hope you will come back again and show more about this beautiful land. See you next time. :)
How amazing! Thanks so much for your lovely comment. I hope that you enjoyed watching the video 😊
@@SyifaAdriana I enjoyed your video, but you should stay more time in one place here and show more. :)
Debrecen looks nice
Beautiful Hungary thank you for your wonderful show really enjoy it god bless
Békéscsaba is my hometown, I still live here today. It's a very pleasant city to live in, everything is here, it's homely. Békéscsaba a szülővárosom, itt is élek ma is. Nagyon kellemes élhető város, minden megvan itt, otthonos.
I am visiting Budapest in December and I think I found a wine tour outside the city that I'll visit.
Hi Adam! Hungary has many many wineyards and wine producing regions like Tokaj, Villány, Eger, Balaton felvidék and many more. Highly recommended to visit.
You're so lucky, most tourists would not have had these experiences including some of the locals. Thank you for visiting my country ❤️
Thank you so much! I feel incredibly lucky to have had these special experiences in your beautiful country. It’s been such a joy to connect with the people and places beyond the usual tourist spots. Thank you for the warm welcome-I truly appreciate it!
Looks really peaceful.
Katica is beautiful Its always a wonder to see our own country trough your eyes.❤
Thank you so much! It’s always such a joy for me to share the beauty of your country, and I’m really happy you enjoyed seeing it through my eyes.
Thanks syifa for another video very entertainment and educational
Hi Adriana, I love watching your videos, beautiful views, great content, and moreover your SMILE...oh....
I wish you had given us a tour of your room at the end of the video - it looks fascinating! Very good video.
Thank you! I was in a rush to film everything all at once while catching a bus. 😊
Hi!
I'm starting to respect you more and more. Carrying out such a journey is no small thing. Outside of the tourist areas, you rarely see foreigners here. Cities with universities are, of course, exceptions.
The usual additional information:
3:14 Russian-made motor train.
Thank you again for your support and insight!
very pleasant vlog Ms. Syifa Adriana great talks with Hungarian and shows also their livelihood.👍👍.
Im a swede. but lives near Lake Balaton now.

Amazing video content Adriana, keep it up am from Kenya wish you could make a visit here for amazing adventures
When I visited Debrecen in 2021, that old Mini Cooper was parked at the very same spot. Seems like it's still owned by the same person. Good to see that they take care of it and still keep it on the road despite its old age.
That’s amazing! It’s so cool that the Mini Cooper was still parked in the same spot when you visited in 2021. It’s great to see that the owner is still taking care of it and keeping it on the road despite its age-it adds so much character to the area! 😊
