      Any NCAA wrestling finals matches would be more entertaining. Any of Dake's matches, especially current ones, are excellent. Jones and Meregali (and Gordon Ryan) all seem confused when they're on their feet.

    Can we just comment on the fact that Meregali started training no gi for less than a year before that? World champion in the gi, yes, but not a lot of people would make that transition and be able take on Jones like that. He's a beast.

    Around the 6 minutes mark craig was already tired. He mentioned how he doesn't warm up before his marches and it really shows.
    He tried to go 0-100 and gassed out just as anyone else would

      Craig Jones smokes joints all day when he's not working out, that's why he got no gas tank. People actually misjudge his capacity, but guy is a beast

    Craig won according to the rules with the near takedown and the 2 submissions attempt but Meregali is actually better and more confident with his non stop offense the entire match whereas Craig was attacking 3 min and then went on full defense mode until the near takedown

    jones is so slick with everything. doesn't have the best cardio but fight IQ IS JUST superb. that last minute takedown was also very slick. very lazy (purposefully) to throw of nick

    This match shows why ADCC and grappling in general never will get a mainstream breakthrough. Two great competitors but still pretty boring to watch.

    Meregalis pace was rediculous in the first half of the match. Jones was pretty much pacing himself the whole time.

      He prob does use (not that I care), but his size increase could also be becauase his fight dietician had him eating 5k cals leading up to this. There's a great podcast about it.
