This is a nice stopgap solution for the Dasaita install on my Santa Fe until i get the steering wheel harness and stock Hyundai buttons for my steering wheel.
@@esqu3l3to i will. i would much rather use the stock steering wheel controls though (see my question on your other video :) ) but this is a good stopgap until i get a steering wheel i think.
ruclips.net/video/HPVAPVD1aHI/видео.html This is how I got the steering wheel controls to work on mine. See the description box for the wires you need.
thanks to the video (and some others) I managed to install same unit into my old Camry. 1. The color of key1 and key2 may differ from the video and without the label, you may want to search for other videos explaining wiring of android head unit 2. I did not disconnect the battery, in result my head unit touch went crazy but I managed to resolve it (it did panicked me though). I think just disconnect the cable contain + power supply (red, yellow cable) is okay
Correct, the wire coloring/labelling may be different depending on the manufacturer. Always disconnect the battery when doing any electrical work in your car to avoid any issues. Glad my vids helped you out 👍
@@esqu3l3to Thanks,. I decided to get those smaller Oreo sized ones, this might be too big to be modified to fit in the dash and if used normally it takes space of the cup holder which I might use..
I'm just curiously asking does radio working while running other app? such as car navigation, coz mine has similar yours but multifunction is not possible
yes its possible, you can run a few apps at the same time. Like navigation while listening to the radio. I would recommend this unit as it has better specs to run the apps you want. www.seicane.com/hd-touch-screen-android-2-din-car-universal-radio-with-gps-navigation-system-3g-wifi-usb-sd-mirror-link-bluetooth-music-audio-steering-wheel-control-s127041e?acc=3c59dc048e8850243be8079a5c74d079
I have not tried that, but its ment for audio controls. You can program it to scroll through the sources but not through each app. The unit itself has been good so far, as for the audio controls can be slow or not responsive at times.
@@esqu3l3to Thanks. I saw a similar one from Joying the manufacturer of my android stereo and I will try it. rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F332837699084

Esqueleto 👍🏼 good job and very simple but practically informative video.
Thanks for the good feedback 👍
Can i ask something please..My android radio has already remote control...Can i install this unit directly with out to connect the receiver?
How do you know which one is key 1?
the wires should be labelled which wire is which, most of these radios have teo "key" wires. also check your manual
The knob does not a a tactile feel?
it does have a tatile feel when turning up or down

@trevorbelmont4633 yea true enough. let me know how it works.
Wondering if you have or know how to remove the gear box cover the gold part like the one you removed in video same color 😁
The shifter cover? Yup that comes off by prying off the small cover on top. Its just held on by some tabs. That is what youre refering to right?

will it work on a wireless screen from amazon?
It may, but not guaranteed
Looks like a great product. Can you use the knob to scroll through different apps so you don't have to touch the screen?
