Can we connect the corolla original steering wheel multi media keys with it ? I am talking about the keys or buttons which some corolla models have buitin there steering wheel
Hi, Thanks. I have Wagon R 2015 model and I have fitted an android 2 year back. But desperately need good quality steering controis. 1) Do you still suggest me to install the steering control keys as you mentioned ? 2) How is the performance after a year or 2. 3) How long the Lithium-ion batteries last? 4) Can we mount the round units with screws on the wagon R steering plastic part? 5) When you press the button whether the horn also gets pressed? 6) How much is the diameter (in mm) of the round units? 7) Any other suggestion?
1) If this is the only option to get steering controls then yes its a good option. 2) still working great 3) about 1.5 year 4) not with the specific one installed but there are other options that have a backing plate 5) ? 6) 1.5”
Sorry, thought you were referring to the radio itself. The controller needs to be connected directly through the wiring if your stereo supports steering wheel control.
@@langthao738 Oh, no my car has no controls and has a radio from the manufacturer, no tech just simple. I had to buy a new one from amazon that connects to my phone Bluetooth :(

Should work. You just need to find which wires those are and connect them accordingly.

Did you have to cut some wires?
No, the harness already have the wires to join with the wireless module
how to change battery?
There is a pull tab on the side?
Can I connect this with my phone? or with a stereo that has no bluetooth?
@@langthao738 how? I cannot seem to make it work

Underneath the glove box bro.
Ended up placing it under the glovebox/arm rest.

What software do you use to control this on an Android receiver?
This one had a built in app
@@langthao738
Yeah. Ultimately I found it in settings..
try them in the boot 😂
Attach it to steering wheel
Recently moved it to the steering column below the signal.
Poor video man 😢 you didn’t give the wiring section enough time in the video, which is the main part.
Ok, next time
It's okay I figured using T-tap splice connector was the best thing. Thanks for the video tho. Very helpful still@@langthao738
