I would swap sides on the shed. Pond side gives more privacy and road side gives better access to whatever you are storing there.

What a great trait to have and for us to have the opportunity to witness. corners. I'm slowly working through the videos since seeing the October vlog where you announced your land purpose. If you've had a bump in subscribers lately, you might consider doing a "recap of our lives" type video to help those who haven't been with you for years catch up a bit on how you came to have your current farm and a bit about each of you. Snow shoes and a emergency supply bag of food, warm dry clothes just in case you break down and get stuck way out their. Tell other family or friends when you go out their and when you plan to return. What happens if you break a tread or fall through ice and need to dry out fast. I remember lots of stories out west of people getting stuck in snow for weeks and dying. Not being paranoid just encouraging being prepared

It looks Amazing Al, but yeah...those doors might have been overboard for a Loo...Still...it looks classy...needs a little walnut stain on those trim pieces and doors in the spring to make it pop, but man by that little pond...I think it works. :) You might want to put a little 1/4" stop plate on the inside flat edge of the loo door to prevent it from pushing in on those inside. It will help save you hinges over time.

Beautiful crust. The donuts don't have to be pretty...just taste good. Stay warm guys, that snow storm is headed your way I think. Have a Blessed day.

The amount of planning, work and detail in a simple loo/shed is a huge indication that you are serious about making "stuff" that lasts and looks good through the age. Your new house, I bet, is going to be stunning.

Good morning Lumnah family! Here in the south when the days get shorter we can keep our hens laying through the winter with artificial light. I read somewhere that they need approx 14 hours of light a day. I personally have used the light method and it works, however, now I just let the girls take a break from laying as I think it helps rejuvenate them.
