I’ve tried a lot of sensitivity’s on since OW2 came out and this is the most comfortable buy far. The best way to describe it is smooth yet sticky when aim assist kicks in. 10/10
W video, glad to see someone who actually cares and wants to help the console community! Can i ask how long did it take you to get used to aiming with a lower deadzone in this game? And i also watched your kontrol freeks video which was really good by the way and have you noticed that with them the aim assist feels noticeably stronger due to the super micro movements combined with the aim assist ease in, seems to give it a more sticky feeling
It took a few days for me to get used to the lower deadzone size, but if your still having trouble getting used to the lower deadzone size just increase your deadzone by .01 to .03 and or until if feels a little less jarring and just slowly decrease it until you find a deadzone that you feel comfortable with and don't worry if your deadzone isn't the lowest it can be. All that matters is if you feel comfortable with the sens that your using. I'm glad you enjoyed the KontrolFreeks video
Honestly its my fault I forgot to show where you can find the three aim techniques. But To find what aim technique your using First, go to your settings and go to Controls and make sure you're in the General tab, then under your Horizontal and vertical sens click the Advanced tab, and after that just scroll down to the bottom of the advanced tab and right below the RIGHT STICK OUTER DEADZONE you should see a setting called AIM TECHIQUE and this where you can check what aim technique you are using ( btw default the is Dual-Zone). Hope this helps -Nate
I, it works personally for me. I switched the main weapon fire button and the secondary fire button. Reason is you have to press, I'm on PS, R2 to shoot your primary you are also using your right thumb stick to aim. So instead of using 2 buttons on one hand, and it not messing with my aim. I have made this change.
I actually already made a whole video about all of the aiming Techniques. here's the Link if you would like to watch ruclips.net/video/lMsQSjWYsUA/видео.html
If you set it to DISABLE then it will ignore what ever you set your deadzone to and just use the default. But if you want to manually set it default is 0.15 inner deadzone and 1.00 outer deadzone. (It’s the same for right and left deadzone)
I actually already made a whole video about all of the aiming Techniques showing linear vs exponential vs Dual-zone. There's just a lot to cover so I couldn't add it in this video. But here's the Link if you would like to watch ruclips.net/video/lMsQSjWYsUA/видео.html
Setting your right outer deadzone too low, like 0.50, reduces your aiming area by half, making it harder to control and less precise. Hope this helps - Nate
This sens is pretty well rounded for most heroes but for Hanzo I like changing his Aim Assist Ease In to 50. And for the other heroes I think understanding how their projectiles work and learning how much you need to lead your shot to hit the indented target will do the most help with improving at those heroes. Really hope this helps . If you have any other question please feel free to ask :) -Nate
gamma correction adjusts the overall brightness and contrast of the game, especially in darker areas. It's designed to make the game look clearer by fine-tuning how light and shadows appear on your screen. If you raise the gamma setting, everything in the game becomes brighter, but it can make some details look washed out. Lowering the gamma setting makes the game darker, which can help with richer colors but might make it harder to see things in shadowy areas.
@@FlareOW I think there's a point of diminishing returns and a deadzone of 0.00 is gonna be kinda hard to control but theoretically if you could control it than Yes, but I would probably set your deadzone at least a bit higher than that higher than that.
I use to be a pc player and ow2 is my first fps game with controller, so for me this setting is not good, specially the aim assist ease in at 100, for me 50 to 80 is better but still I'm changing settings all the time, this game is difficult on controller
Your tracer button settings are truly baffling , and feel like they are so disadvantageous, you blink with L1 but you pulse with L2, what if you need to quickly blink pulse then you’re required left index finger movement. I personally have blink L2 while pulse R1 that way I can blink and pulse almost instantly with minimal movement , rest of control settings shoot R2 , crouch circle jump x and also R3 melee for quick blink melees
@@NateSuxAtThis Suggest? Doesn’t matter. Aim Assist is a toxic concept that’s plagued us console gamers too long. Beyond not being respected, we don’t even get to play quick play with our PC community; pretty anti inclusive thing considering Overwatch is the most inclusive game team ever. But sadly this is Microsoft’s issue that I wish they’d tackle. Most true AAA games and game industry conventionally being Microsoft Windows first and foremost. And Microsoft owns this space AND Xbox. First off, I just wish Xbox/Microsoft would release more universal controller aiming settings at an operating system level. (And don’t tell me this exists in the Accssories App; that app is severely lacking and what saying is we basically need all these Overwatch aim settings in a universal app, so that games don’t have to reinvent the wheel every time… which btw games seem to reinvent the wheel differently EVERY SINGLE TIME.) I want a consistent aiming feel across each game just like PC players get. Ever looked at a PC game’s aim settings? There’s not much in there. It’s very straightforward. And my biggest pet peeve is Inner Thumbstick Deadzone settings being hidden / hard-coded into specific games meanwhile no PC gaming has never used deadzones once and if you made PC players use deadzones, they would aim worse than controllers. Second, and most importantly, the gaming industry is hurting itself with toxicity and sales by all this segregation of player bases mostly due to Aim Assist controversialness, followed closely by “controller players can’t aim” toxic mentality again reinforced by lazy Microsoft not prioritizing a better universal aiming approach for controllers. There’s too much to get into. Microsoft has to do something first. Then any other platform can follow. There’s way more videos and forums going into more depth.

Aim assist does not work if u play vs PC players with cross play on right ?
Digestible, informative, and described smoothing perfectly while providing god tier settings under 10 minutes. Id be a bonehead if I didn’t Subscribe.
For soldier i use L3 for sprint. They use l3 for sprinting in alot of games so it just feels more natural for me.
100 sense on controller is madness
Does anyone remember what the default deadzone settings are? I messed with mine forever ago and forgot

Could u upload a crosshair settings video for specific heros please?
Great video but can you recommend some settings for people that use linear aiming technique?
didn’t cover linear vs exponential vs dual-zone that would have been very helpful, i’m guessing you play dual zone on every character?

Bruv came in clutch for the console bros
Best key binding for Juno. Is having jump on L2 worth it?
If you can get used to it. 100%, just don’t forget to rebind your interact key.
Thx, bro. For video ❤
for tracer i use similar bindings but i have L2 on reload and triangle for ult

W console content creator
Great vid ❤ but i have a question : doesn't lowering ur left stick outer deadzone lowers ur aim assist strength?
I don’t think so, all that your outer deadzone controls is the area on your controller’s thumbstick where your movement is registered as a full input.
Need to see some reaper settings
Are those settings good for Ana as for Cassidy?
Yeah, I use the same for both Ana and Cassidy and I do pretty well
@@NateSuxAtThis Ight fs man I appreciate it
Show the settings for genji please
Do these work for solider? Also i prefer to play with 98 smoothing, is that ok? Also what about prohectile heros lile mei and hanzo?
these should be good for solider and 98 is still great

having vibration on at all is a disadvantage for any competitive fps
It's probably is a slight disadvantage but its fun and if you don't enjoy your time when you play then that's a even bigger disadvantage.
Does it work on ps4 as well
How low do u think I should have my left stick outer dead zone
I think that .75 to .50 is a really good place to start but the lower you can get the better rn I have mine set to .40.

Bad content. 100% aim assist? This turns the game into a movie.
