    It would help if someone who actually has drop foot or ms would try on the shoes. They are also $200.00 and not all of us can afford that.

      I know that they’ve had several people with MS try them out prior to launching the shoe! Id recommend reaching out to the company to ask for the feedback that the people with MS had about the shoes. To my knowledge, it’s all been very positive.

      I have MS. These are a game changer. I struggle with balance drop foot. I hike my hip when I walk and swing my left leg. These help me feel so much more secure walking. The base is just a little wider so there is a little more stability. They are totally worth the $200.

    I got these and found them very unsafe. I have minimal drop foot, but the shoes were so slippery, I was nervous standing when using them. They suggested I put weight on my heels before I stand. This helps, but I still hesitated to stand, which is never good for us, as we need to stand up as often as possible. They also suggested putting a rubber mat under my feet before standing, but I won't carry around a rubber mat through the city or even in my home to be able to stand when I otherwise have no issue getting up from a seated position. I'd also risk head injury wearing the shoes if I bent down to pick up the rubber mat after getting up. I hope no one gets unjured using these.

      Thank you for sharing your experience! It's all about finding what works best for you and allows you to feel safe☺️ For some these may be perfect, but also they may not work for others. I'm sure this is helpful information for those considering the sneakers!

    Everything looks very good and makes a whole lot of sense, I myself have foot drop, hiking hip and I am very interested in this product but there are two things that I'm having issues with number one is the cost of the sneaker with the way the economy is and the fact that most people that have these underlying issues are on disability or on a fixed income so how is this supposed to be beneficial if one must go broke to obtain it so many people have so many great ideas and inventions that may help people that are less fortunate than themselves but then they get into business with people that take their vision and turn it all about money instead of helping people like big business and insurance companies that's how the rich get richer in the poor get poorer, I would also feel more comfortable spending this type of money if I seen a person with actual foot drop or hip circumduction how to roll with demonstrate them and give their review the way you are now then I may feel more comfortable and inclined to purchase this product , I would also suggest find a better way to advertise on Facebook

    They almost look like weighted shoes for training... I like the tight up slope in the front, but they don't look like shoes, made to ease the TRIP Hazard, which most shoes have built in. Thanks, but NO Thanks.,..

    • @DoctorGretchenHawley
      @DoctorGretchenHawley  6 месяцев назад +1

      Ohh all great questions! I’d put some neuro insoles on the inside to help with the sensation (I love the company Naboso for products like this) and based on my experiment when I tried these on, I do think they’d slide over a small bump/carpet. I plan on putting them on again and purposely walking on different terrain, so I’ll keep everyone posted!

    Does Acupuncture help with foot drop

    • @DoctorGretchenHawley
      @DoctorGretchenHawley  4 месяца назад

      I’m not sure! I’m always an advocate for trial and error. Something like acupuncture doesn’t typically cause any adverse effects, which is great for trial and error. Foot drop is typically due to weakness and tightness, so strengthening and stretching specific muscles tend to be most effective.
