I don't think anybody expected the team to ramp up their defensive intensity the most this postseason was the team THAT ALREADY HAD THE BEST DEFENSE. McDaniels, NAW, and Ant are absolute dogs on the defensive end and everyone who had meaningful minutes put in more work than I've ever seen them do all year.

I honestly think the Wolves look better defensively and offensively without Gobert. I played high level college ball and honestly think MN coach should consider starting Naz Reid alongside KAT. Gobert has looked really bad in the two home games. Is it a coincidence they blew the Nuggets out without him?

Timberwolves defense is good but it's hard to call it an "all-time defense." Wolves just match up better than most teams cause they have solid bigs who can body with jokic & make him work on the other end including Rudy. Den fans hate to hear it but Lakers were owning Denver when they had Howard & Mcgee to throw at jokic.
