My favorite feature on my Crosstrek Wilderness is if you press the wireless charger on/off button 3 times, it will actually start blinking amber and green and that means it's in fast charge mode. Use only when needed though as it gets hot. Also, even with the Autostop function on, if you break normally, it won't shut the car off unless you really push in the break pedal more than you really need to. Most times, I forget to turn it off and I never notice because it won't turn off unless i really push hard on the break pedal.

I like the turn signal feature.
My Limited with the HK system has HD radio. I never saw anything about it being a HD radio in any of the literature. or any RUclips review. You need to go in the the Radio menu and turn it on. HD radio is soooo much better.
How do you reboot the head unit on my 2024 Limited with the HK system? I tried holding down the power button. It turns off the display but it does not reboot the system. I just want to reboot it and not reset it. I have a problem with my S22 Android phone and text messages. It randomly notifies me when I have a text. I will see text coming in on my phone and watch but the car will not notify me so I can play the text messages. Then for no apparent reason, a text message will come in and the car will notify me and display a prompt on the screen allowing me to view and play the text message. I am hoping, rebooting the system will get it to work consistently as it should.

I've had a 2024 Subaru CrossTrek Sport for a couple months now. I've been hearing a strange noise from the area of the wireless phone charger whenever my phone is on it. It is a mechanical whirring sound like a small motor moving back and forth like when you want to load a new print cartridge in an inkjet printer. The noise is pretty constant and kind of annoying. I think it is the wireless charger doing this because it stops when I take my phone away from it. Not sure wireless chargers are supposed to make noise. I think I'll be using the Power button you pointed out to turn off the wireless charger and see if that stops the noise. I can always plug my phone into the USB port instead. Couldn't find anyone else having this particular issue, although there are a ton of people having problems getting their phones to charge on this particular wireless charger.

I’m upgrading to a Crosstrek Wilderness soon, and I dread the fact that it will have an even more severe case of creeping feature-itis. Why do I need a switch to turn off the wireless charger that I don’t want so the car won’t blow up if I put the keys that don’t exist on top of it?

Funny how about 70 percent of the infotainment system customization features shown in the video are not available for (Japan-built) Crosstreks sold in Mexico. 🤣 I mean, we don't even get the Subaru StarLink system. We don't get weather updates or "air"-updates for the software.
I went to the dealer and told them about this and how I wanted to move the Auto Start-Stop button to the lower main bar so I don't have to go the home menu when Apple CarPlay is enabled and they didn't know how to do it. I told them I found information about how recent software updates enabled this but they told me they couldn't update it more. We also don't get to customize the "audible signal" for keyless entry system. All the options are there except for the "audible sign" function. 🤦🏻‍♂ No "valet-mode" either.
I mean, idk what we're getting anymore. Really bad from Subaru México.

Now to change the heat or A/C controls you have to look away from the road to adjust these controls. Hopefully people sue Subaru for endangering our lives because of this stupid screen, that you can’t feel the controls, because they are nonexistent.
