    For the Subaru people, the front facing camera is something really special they're not just going to put them on just any model. 😊

      I am sure it is the same in the US, but in Canada eyesight is included with all Subarus, as this is what controls adaptive cruise and lane departure warnings. They all have the two colour cameras, but some models have a third wide angle camera in the middle.

    I like the location of the push button start. It’s out of the way so you’re not tempted to hit it while driving. Good review.

    Just bought a '24 Crosstrek Limited and love it. It comes atandard with the 182 hp motor and is very peppy and powerful. Initially I'd purchased an Impreza RS which was nice but underpowered as well as low to the ground, so I traded it for the Crosstrek which is alllow one to sit high. There's nothing not to like about this car, but know that passenger space in the rear is limited although cargo capacity is good. I come from a Forester which I test drove and I liked very much. Crossterk upper trims have the same engine as the Forester regardless of trim and this makes the Crosstrek very powerful. It has this big digital ingotainements system and some physical buttons for the radio and HVAC system. I prefer knobs. Thank you for your review as it it's very thorough.

      @danieljarvis9183 - can you go into a little more details on what you mean by the Impreza RS feeling underpowered? I thought for the 2024 models, the Impreza RS and Crosstrek Limited/Sport trims have the same engine specifications of 2.5L 182 hp with 178 lb-ft for all 3 trims.

    I have had the 2024 Alpine Green Crosstrek Limited for 3 weeks, and 600 miles now: I love it. I originally went to get the Alpine Green Crosstrek Sport, but after sitting in each car, I chose the Limited because I found the seats more comfortable. There is a lot of road noise, but my 2021 Crosstrek, and the one before it had the road noise too, so it was not a surprise. I do not like the Falken tires that come with it. On our Texas roads where the posted speed limit is 85 or 80, I actually would loose mpg on the computer readings. Is it the tires? With no data to say so, I think it is the fault of the tires. I got the moonroof, the shield is super flimsy. However, I find the fit of the interior just fine. I have no complaints about the pick up and go of the engine. If you want muscle, or a lot of pick and go for getting on the highway or passing, ? ? ? then why are you buying a 4 cylinder 182 hp car? On this point, my 2021 Crosstrek was the premium, and the "upgrade" to the larger engine in the limited is actually a big noticeable difference. The first and main improvement my friends and I notice, a smoother ride. The all weather mats this year are cheaper made than ones that came with the 2021. I did not have a trade in, so with the extras and sales tax, I do think I way over paid for it, but I still signed the papers, so no smh here, and I am happy.

    btw, i figured out that it detects if your hands are on the wheel using input, not sensors, so when the alert pops up you can simply nudge the wheel in any direction and it will go away and you can continue using your self driving car 😎 (disclaimer: this system is not meant to drive for you)

    Was heading out to test drive a Crosstrek limited and watched your video first. Had no idea there were no rear vents. That’s a dealbreaker for me. We live in Minnesota and my ‘87 Jetta from way back in the day had no rear vents and people’s feet froze in the winter. How TF do they not put rear vents in? Looks like a great car for the price except for that.

    • @danielfair4675
      @danielfair4675 7 месяцев назад

      Lmao, nobody's feet are gonna freeze with no rear vents in a compact CUV/SUV.
      Folks drove without them for more than 100 years & still do.

      There are vents under the driver and passenger seats facing right into the rear foot wells. I had them on my 2018 premium, and now on the Sport that I bought on Saturday. There are no vents on the center console.

    • @cgmiddle
      @cgmiddle 3 месяца назад

      Nonsense. In a small vehicle, rear venting is completely unnecessary. The current heating and cooling systems are perfectly adequate exactly as they are. Engineering leads the way in determining what is/is not required.

    Take for a night time test drive before buying. Headlight design is poor and dangerous for driving on unlit roads. Low illumination makes if hard to see along side if road. Has two black spots which look like floaters in front of your eyes which move around as you drive. Think it's the clip that holds the headlight in place and makes a shadow.
