Grab irons are great. The 2 bay hoppers I build take 32 of them! Nice music choice also, it convinced my baby girl watching with me it was nap time. Nice end result on the car!

Thanks Pappy! Decals can be tricky. Sometimes they lay right down where they're supposed to. Sometimes you gotta fight with them. I think the key is to use lots of Microset.

Really beautiful job, Bill! Love the approach to the undecorated cars! The Seneca decals look so great, too!! Thanks so much for sharing!

Wow, that looks like a PITA. Who'da thought "undecorated" also meant "only half built"? Love the result, though. And no more flammable corn syrup for you! 😁

Actually I kind of enjoyed it. And no more mixing chemicals with the corn syrup 😆

Just imagine being a south American modeler....I have to paint and decal everything....one of the reasons why I choose it....I'm certainly not a ready to roll guy.

Grab iron holes! I broke 10 #80 bits doing 40 holes on a locomotive, haha. A couple of them I just twitched before even starting, and the bits snapped. I hope to do more detail work as soon as my fingers want to cooperate. Your work always looks really nice!

I prefer to stick to #78, they last a little longer.
