YES SIR!🫡
That a request or an order?
Either way, that's an "affirmative" from me.
We need a full armor set!
I'd buy it so quick
agreed
@@Viscratus There is on the website already
I'm almost done printing the full armor set
@@Gatsu3D2A awesome! I was planning on printing a set too but I got side tracked by a power armor project
Helldivers 2 cosplays, I can feel them coming
i wanna make or buy one so bad even tho i’m a civ (i won’t be soon hopefully)
@sylokthedefiled thers some but really expensive
@@bkb087 true. but there’s also the other option of getting a 3d printer, getting the filament, and making it yourself which in the long run costs way more
@@sylokthedefiledhowever you do get the benefit of making whatever you want, whenever you want.
Unless you’re only doing Helldivers and only a one and done, then yeah
@@TeaGamingPanda oh yeah definitely. i’m planning on doing a bunch of cosplays so i’d wanna get a printer
Just want to say that I, and I'm sure a lot of us here appreciate you including pre sliced bambu printer files with your new designs. And also extras like visor bucks and visor cutouts along with head sizing files. Its a huge reason why I continue to buy from you, thank you.
I just downloaded this helmet and I'm using a Bambu Labs A1. I can't figure out how to use the pre sliced files. Any help in this matter would be really appreciated. I'm sure this cry for help is calling out my inexperience with this printer. I just got it and i love it. Still learning.
15:37 Handsome Squidward is peeking 👀
One of the better videos in a long time, the quality keeps going up! Great work fellas.
My jaw dropped with the elastic helmet reveal, thats such an incrdible idea and design
You have inspired me to finish sanding my projects that I have on the back burner 😂 thank you
Can't wait. Just bought this from your site. This will be my first 3d printed helmet ever.
Yes! I’ve been waiting for this the second I bought the game! I’ve been checking your page multiple times a day for it 💪🏼
bought the files as soon as I saw this on your shop. So cool!!
It’s so much fun seeing you grow over these past few years from just our star wars Facebook communities to the patreon success and more printings! Keep it up:)
Just got my helmet in today, quality is amazing 🤘🏼 thank you guys
Thanks so much for the tutorial. Printing out my pieces now.
Yes brother! Keep spreading Freedom and Democracy!
This was the easiest to print!! We have the X1 and the supports came off so well! Thanks! I am going to be putting it together and painting it. Thanks!
For democracy! Excited to get my kit from you guys and get to work on it!
Amazing! I've been waiting for your build for this awesome game! Also, my head is HUGE! I feel your pain lol
Thank you, now I can do my part for super earth
My brothers got me this as a 31st birthday present, which was super cool of them! I don't know the first thing about making cosplay helmets though, so this should be... interesting, lol.
Love your stuff guys, would love to see more of the 3D modeling process :D
Pick up a variant of this helmet over the weekend... can't wait to print on my new Creality K1 Max , Any cubic Kobra max studio.....The files are amazing......❤
My helmet arrived today. I gotta say it actually looks alot cleaner out the box than I thought it would. The print lines are fairly insignificant to what I thought I would be working with. Nice job thanks boys!
Did it come painted or did you have to paint it yourself?
@@nmf0 It's a DIY helmet. Yes, you have to paint it yourself
you beat me to the punch on cosplaying helldiver stuff
I think some day I'm going to design my favorite helldiver helmet into a functional respirator, the helmet designs in this game are truly incredible.
Awesome guide thank you
Next time don't run into my 500 kg 😂
Fantastic tutorial! Can’t wait to do a full cosplay once I have the time 😂
Yeah I think I'm gonna try to make this. Visor will be the tricky part though.
So I just got into printing, and I picked up an X1c so im super excited to see that it's totally doable
Nice technique. I'm planning to produce a set of these with a few modifications for wearability and ease of production.
Purchased the helmet and visor. parts are coming out super clean! cant wait for the armor now
Where did you buy this
@@lakehamlin6611so he sells his visor and helmet on galactic armorys website. my printer shit the bed so i just bought the physical helmet, its like $100 all together with the completed print and visor.
Where do you get the visor? I don't see it on their shop
@@Magosspud so go to the helmet, and in the options it says helmet only, with visor, and then there’s two options for visor only, there’s a clear and dyed version. You have to make sure it’s the physical product though and not the 3D file
@@theace1602 Thank you! Gonna pick one up now
I think i finally found my helmet for kit bashing, just imagine the possibilities this base helmet with a touch of arf/arc trooper helmet pieces from star wars,a radio or flashlight attachment type piece from halo based on either the odst or recon spartans and finally a nice paint job to finish it up(me personally id put it as a white and blue color scheme like five o first and keep the mouth plate black with abit of vent detail added in)
One thing I like about all the armors in HD2 is that almost all of it looks practical like something I could see being used IRL, even the flashy ones for super patriotic Super Citizens.
Nice work.
Ah hell.... Now I want to make ANOTHER cosplay. Great stuff. WE'RE TAKING BACK DRAUPNIR WITH THIS ONE.
Currently printing the "hero of the federation" helm in one piece on my ender5 plus at %97 scale. 4 days and 3 hours!🫠 gonna make a heavy armored version!🤑
So cool man. Need to buy a Filament printer my resin one is just too messy right now
Awesome video and great work!! Out of curiosity are there any plans for making the SC-30 Trailblazer Scout helmet and armor set?
Yes I wanna cosplay this for DragonCon
Now that I discovered this channel, I definitely want them to make a tron helmet, preferably the pilot ones
Me: throws stratagem
Jamie: dies
Me: opps 🙈
Dang, they offered commercials licenses so quickly! Great work!
0:40 he did it he said the thing
Love that build! Already printed the seperate parts for it. Any advice on how to assemble them?
Nice, any plans for the body armor coming to the store soon?
I've long admired Galactic Armory's work. Im currently working on an Ashoka figure from this crew. I am planning on upgrading my FDM and once I do I will become an annual patreons member. Too many great files to not join the community.
what slicer do u guys use im currently using ur files to make my own helmet its been going good so far! (also u guys have a great patreon it has been real handy)
I would add that you will definitely will be cleaning the helmet with IPA after the coats of SLA resin, if not it will be unsandable as the resin will be sticky
Can't wait to get to work on this once my Bambu is fixed. So glad youre gonna be selling visors lol
I saw a couple people thinking it would be a good idea to do their own. I personally was "take my Money!" For the visor instantly. They are kinda warped as shown in the video but still satisfied with the purchase for all intensive purposes they look real good. I think people underestimate the trickiness involved in such an endeavour. They even chemically etched them for us.
@Ratboycure Thankfully mine came out perfectly fine, no real warping to be seen. Gladly would pay the premium again to not be completely blind like my other helmets lmao
@@Magosspud funny and nice work!
Thanks for the 3d print and tutorial. When you do the weathering you said do a clear coat between weathering coats but do you lay the clear coat down before your first pass of weathering?
Im from super texas and i approve this message
Fantastic video, it actually finally pushed me over the edge to finally buy a printer. Im in the process of making the armor and my only question is were did you get the stickers?
There are heaps of people looking for the sticker answer. Maybe look around locally for a sign printer might be the play.
AWESOME
Questions for you guys! What clear coat do you advise? What kind of visor clips are you using? And will you be offering the logo decals for sale?
Does bondo spot puddy in paint thinner work as a work around instead of resin? Also do you put the clear coat on before the mud wash or after and then repeat?
FREEDOM NEVER SLEEPS!!!
I need this helmet. Please do the armor set too.
someone needs to make a full helldiver suit as their armored motorcycle gear and go riding around with it. That would be so badass.
Full armor tutorial next please it’s for halloween next year
So should I just get the specialist tier if I want to get the stl files for the helmet?
Cause from what I’m told we get to keep the files from whatever month we were subscribed to and the previous month if I’m not mistaken.
What would you recommend for padding on the inside of the helmet?
Any plans on providing the body armor pieces?
Would be nice to buy one.
Are you guys gonna do more than just the helmet?
What kind of resin did you use? I forgot to ask in the discord when I still had your patreon.
I am very impressed with your build it came out great. I just have a quick question I'm not sure about. I checked out your files to print out, and it says that the commercial rights to the files you create comes with the sub to patron. How can I be given commercial rights for copyright material from a source that doesn't own the brand. Am I missing something?
I can’t believe the fan-base is this strong for Helldivers 2! Usually it takes like a month or three to get the Fanbase started with art, cosplay, animation and so on. It’s been a month since its release and it’s beginning to be a classic. How? Lol
I havent watched the tutorial. Already ordered the kit. Id blame it on inebriation, but that'd be maybe a lie.
It is a birthday gift for my brother, it might come in late, but ill make it work some fucking how.
What are those clips you used to hold in the visor?
Couple questions, did you attach the elastic straps before finishing the filler and prime? (can't tell from the video). What adhesive do you use to glue together parts, and glue in the visor?
Just wondering, as I need to do the elastic mod for mine too, did you glue/attach the visor to the dome or the faceplate?
What about using auto window tint in place of dyeing the visor?
where do you get the helldivers logo/stickers for the helmet?
Hi! Bought Galactic Armory's full set and helmet and Im super excited to start working on it as it is my first cosplay! What was the attachment process of the three helmet pieces after @5:00?
Do you make custom fitted and fully painted versions for order?
what printer size would you recommend to do both the helmet and the armor?
We need the engineer helmet!
Where do you get the Hell Divers 2 waterslide decals?
Do we know the size of the stickers used for the skull decals?
im building ths helmet and was wondering what did you use to adhere the parts together? (I have to print everything in smaller pieces if that matters)
You guys going to sell the skull decals?
So many steps, materials, and equipment. Ill just buy it 😩
Currently making a helmet pattern out of foil and duct tape and I’m gonna transfer it to Eva foam latter, wish me luck
It would be great if you guys took on the Viper Pilot helmet from Battlestar Galactica or the Mars EVA helmet from The Martian.
I’m printing in ASA.. I need help for the stickers, since the visor would be a challenge as it is 😅
I have a question. Have you tried abs smoothing your helmets? It could possibly lower the amount of time sanding needed. Also, you can use acetone to glue the peices togethor easily!
Only problem would be the fumes and needing to make a big enough box and platform for the helmet to smooth.
These are PLA but definitely want to try it on a full helmet
Just a question, I'm trying to follow what you guys did for your color coating for the helmet. What did you guys use for the black oil paint and when you guys put it on the helmet was it mixed with water or was it a specific paint?
Wht 3d printer should I get to make helmets and armor like this. I really want to start cosplaying
where did you get/how did you make those helmet scull decals?
Hi, Can I get a link for the physical visor please, also will it be shippable to the UK?
to match the golden visor, what paint would you recommend?
if am using bambulab x1 carbon with ams to print this would the file have the colour already or i have to edit and put the colour for it ?
Can the visors be printed from a SLA printer? If so , any chance we could get the visor model?
nice intro.
I have one of the other helmets I would really like to wear, is there any way I can pay you guys to do a specific one?
What kind of space heaters are those
I noticed that its not mentioned what technique is used to "connect or bond" the separate pieces of the helmet together in the video.
Any alternative to do the visor?
are the files for the visor buck available anywhere?
