  • Despite being in the old livery, and lacking the "cargo" titles - this is still such a cool visit and I hope to see it again soon. It is funny, less than 5 years ago; an Air Canada 767 departing would have been nothing special!
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Air Canada has been operating cargo only flights in the cargo hold of their passenger aircraft. In late 2020, Air Canada announced they would bring back some of their retired Boeing 767-300ER's as fully dedicated Cargo aircraft. C-FPCA, was the first to be re-delivered from Tel Aviv (where it was converted to Cargo) on December 6th 2021, and it's first revenue flight was on December 9th 2021.
Although Montreal is one of Air Canada's main hub, this is actually the first visit of Air Canada's dedicated 767 Freighter. The aircraft arrived just after 01:00am Lima, and here it is departing around 11:00am to Toronto.
Due to the quick need during the pandemic for cargo aircraft, Air Canada
painted this 767 in the old Air Canada livery and didn't add the "Cargo" titles. The other 7 767's that will be delivered are expected to be in the new livery.

Nice to see the Air Canada 767-300. Won't forget the flight experience especially the in-flight service I had back in early 2015 from London Heathrow to Ottawa.

Awesome capture, Mark. Love the 767-300. Interesting that she was converted in Israel. Several years ago when I visited Israel I flew from Toronto on AC's 763. I think the route is handled by Dreamliners now. Good to know this old workhorse is still gracing our skies. Thumbs up from YLW.
