Expect many people are coming to your store after watching this. Wait for me as well.😁 One suggestion: try putting posters near the popular stores if you are allowed to. Put yourself in the poster as well so they will recognize its yours.
It feels so sureal I remember your first vlogs when you just arrived here and how your channel growth will decided if you will pursue being a youtuber and you did it! Life is hard for everyone, but small accomplishments like this lights up the world one by one congrats on this new story!. 🎉
Good to see you are still in the Philippines. Keep posting daily life vlogs. It'll give you more exposure to promote your business. I'm sure people would love to see you in person and talk to you.
Marketing strategy suggestions: 1) Add accent neon lights to your store so that people would notice your store even from afar. 2) You can add an LCD monitor and play your travel vlogs (w/o audio). This will caught attention of people there. You'll be surprise.
Good to see you again Filipino Boo. How I wish you documented your journey opening your store in SM North Food Court, especially before the opening day and on the day of opening, and should have inform your soc med followers to come and suppport you. You can still do it. Good luck.
You probably should have featured the planning, the process and opening of your store in your vlogs as a way of promoting your product. Better late than never. Good luck. Wishing you and your girlfriend the best in your Endeavors.
you should try opening a location near universities especially the U-belt area. Near FEU or UST would be good cause there's a lot of Koreans out there too! It would be easy to spread the word about your business because if it's authentic Korean taste then a lot of people not only Koreans will flock to the store. I think you should find a spot near FEU if not right in front of it! Lots of Korean students there
Yeah there's one opened new near u. tower condo name is korean chicken idk exactly the name maybe owner is Filipino coz we live there too U belt streets are España blvd to Morayta st then Recto ave to Malacañang palace that's UST FEU UE San Beda CEU and lots more inside streets Sampaloc district, Manila so busy in school time actually it's the UBelt zone
Hi Filipino Boo I worked in 2 Korean Restaurant before first in Makati and second in Ortigas Center I suggest you add Bolgogi with rice , Dahk Gui with rice or dweji gogi with rice
Rent is the biggest problem in that business.....next is keeping track of inventory and bills....also to attract more customer and to establish the resto, you can have some smaller portions that is affordable so people can order and try it even as a snack...also add end of the day sale. Welcome back and wishing you and your business in S.Korea and this country do well. Keep rockin!
My goodness! its been so long I haven't watch your content.. Its nice to hear that you have a stall there in sm north and knowing your menu have teokbokki!? 😲 When I visit Manila I definitely will try your Korean street food 😍 God bless your Food stall 💙
Congrats on your new business! Have been following you from the beginning. Your enthusiasm and curiosity of the Philippines is so endearing. Continue to stay humble and best of luck with your food booth!
Hello sir! Thank you for taking a photo with me earlier today, sorry if I was rude or spoke fast I was just really nervous! Hope your restaraunt goes well!
Take a vlog of your stall, the dishes. Advertize them in your vlog. Your Korean and Filipino fans will go to eat at your stall specially if they're near SM North food court. Announce your food court location, too. Students can even ask your help to briefly solve their math/engineering problems. 😁
Oo nga nice idea to 😁 lalo na ung papatulong mag solve NG math problems hahaha.. Also tama why not advertise ure store sa vlog mo - para ma aka attract ka by next na makaka punta sila sa sm northedsa hahanpin store mo
A new video AND the return of the 3 line summary? 🔥🔥🔥 Gf and I will make a visit to your resto next time we are in the area! Good luck until then Seungha. We’ll look forward to your next upload.
Wow! May business na pala sya. Naka subscribe nako sakanya since 10k palang subscribers nya. Subaybay ko lagi mga vlogs nya. Pero etong mga buwan hindi nako nakaka nuod dahip bc na. Kakatuwa lang na malaman na nakapag patayo na sya ng business at sa sm north pa na laging matao. Congrats Seungha!
Don't be sad, business is really like that. It takes awhile for people to discover how great your food are. One of these days we will come and visit your store. Cheers
I saw you at SM North Edsa’s foodcourt today kuya Boo! I was so hesitant and shy to ask a picture with you! I am a subscriber for a very long time from Bulacan. I was very star struck and happy to finally see you in person! Hope you’re well and okay! Aja!
Hi FilipinoBoo, nice to see you again. Welcome back! 🙏 Nobody has forgotten about you. Congratulations on your business. It is nice to see Korean entrepreneurs in the Philippines. I wish you all the best with your restaurant business.
Try to invite some local Korean vloggers like Jessica Lee (on her Trabaho series), Jingho Bae, Kristy Pata, Hana Cho to visit your stall and request them to help you either serve the customers for a day or just invite Filipinos to your stall. How about Promo Package on every order of any of your food, like free Korean beauty or snacks (like Korean chips) products or a cup of homemade authentic Korean Kimchi for every order worth 300 pesos...etc.
When I was still living in Quezon City, I was always there at SM North. I would have eaten there at your store. You should make your store sign more visible so that people would be attracted to eat there. You could also do some gimmicks so that they will know more about your store. You could also check out stalls in the University of the Philippines in Diliman if you want to expand your operations. And you don't need to be shy to vlog. Filipinos are very approachable. You just need to sincerely smile and they will smile back at you. 💖😍💖
Congrats! I’m sure the sales are going to pick up now that you’ve vlogged about it. Also, maybe add a bit of promotion in the mall to help people recognize that it’s yours hence legit. I frequent SM North but for some reason I’ve never visited the food court in a long time. Will definitely check out and buy from your store next time I’m there. Exactly what I’ve been looking for!
Great to see you again after a long time of not vlogging. Next time I will visit your food stall at the food court and taste korean foods. God bless po..
Bro,there's alot of things to consider if you're trying to enter the Ph business market 1. Cheap 2. They will be full 3. Should have familiar taste 4. You just open ur store, it should trend somewhere like fb, Like invite vloggers to visit ur shop and do vlog 5. And be humble what ever happen, ph are sensitive people, 6. Try opening your store with online delivery app and stuff Just my advice for now, inflation is eating the Philippines right now, I know ur circumstances, but if u can lower ur prices down, it could help, u can increase it again after u gain above standard customer
Marketing is important and your place should have tarpaulins that will show your logo, name pictures if your products and your location at tbe food court. It may also be good if you can include a picture of you or a caricature wearing a Korean costume in your tarpaulin advertisement so that people will know that your are selling authentic Korean food. Good luck on your new business venture. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
ohh you finally opened a store!! will visit your store one of these days.. i first order from you online.. i like your menu.. goodluck on your business
It’s been a long time Seungha! It’s actually difficult to have a good business (esp w regards to hours spent). If there is no good kimball here in Manila and you are able to maintain consistent standard and quality maybe you’ll be offered to franchise it. Try serving Korean drinks too.
Good luck on your store! Starting a business here is easier than in developed countries like S. Korea, because it's still basically a growing economy with a very young median age and plenty of niches and opportunities. A good tip would be to be aware of the prices everyone else has. Don't forget that the standard of living is cheaper, ingredients are cheaper, so prices also need to be cheaper. I've seen many multinational companies come here and then fail, because they did not study the market and their prices remained too expensive. It's also how Jollibee defeated McDonald's in the 1980s. Also, put up more displays in your store of the menu and prices. With pictures! since most people would not recognize the Korean names of dishes. The bigger the better. The screen you have in 5:03 is nice, but it's too small. Your store should have more displays of the menu, that people can see from the left and right of the counter. It's easier for people to decide to buy if they can see what is available and at what price before going to the counter. Just seeing the logo is not enough for people to know what kind of food you are selling, and most people do not want to talk to the workers until they're sure they are going to buy something. Look at other stores and notice they have very big signs of the menu and prices, like in Mac N'Cheese for example in 6:22 , Sam's in 4:27 , and Gracia's in 3:59
Also one last tip: have a menu item that is VERY cheap. Like a small portion in a cup maybe. A sampler. So people can try your food. If they like it, they'll buy the more expensive bigger portions later.
No matter where the location is if your food is good they will try their best to find it.. it’s good that you vlog it maybe we can visit it next tiime, use social media to advertise it.
Upon seeing you how you present yourself in all aspect, you're extremely smart and have broad and intricate quality of how to analyze things in different level, and precisely that's one thing that differs you from a regular person to high IQ one, likewise, undeniably one of the characteristic of being as an engineer. Since you love your academe to be maintained so much, and the same time you have a soft heart for the Filipinos, why not sharing what you've got, your oozing talented brain with the young Filipino generations by teaching them, perhaps you may apply somehow in one of the universities locally, If im not mistaken you're good enough to be considered overqualified coz ur frm Seoul University. And that'all that matters. Anyways just find what you love to do with great passion and genuine good reasons, then there's no way but the success later is all yours. Kudos 👍
Congratulations on your business! I suggest to maybe put a small Korean flag and also small Korean translation on the food because pinoys love it and will become interested! Good luck! Hope to drop by sometime and try your food!😊
Hello Seungha!!! Long time no vlog ha! Mabuti naman you made your plan of a restaurant into reality. Please do market it as well theough vlogs and yes a little update every now and then would suffice for us 😊 keep up the good work! Fighting!
Been so busy Boo, welcome back, for a short vlog you can actually visit Quezon Memorial Circle , i think it's near your place ... good Luck with your business ... Fighting! 😊
Congratulations on starting your business here! 🎉✨️ Maybe upload a few vlogs about the food so more people can know about it. You should capitalize on the overflow crowd waiting on that area for Jollibee, KFC. Provide an option that's different. To get their attention use the popularity of KPOP and kdrama with posters and banners. Maybe have a "(this dish) as featured on the (kdrama) show..." Have that picture on the counter too. You just missed a great marketing opportunity! Frankly, marketing-wise it's better than "graduated from the best university..."
Good thing you posted a video of your food business i bet it will help boom your sales in the following days because now the subscribers near sm. North will go there
Maybe you can make a Vlog on what we can avail in your store. I just know that you serve kimbap and tteokboki. Maybe you can set the price lower towards the end of the day and distribute flyers with info on what they can buy and prices to those entering the food court near closing time. Also, maybe do a taste test at the entrance nearest your store? Anyway, I wish you and your store all the best. 화이팅!
I just past your vlog last night while scrolling on RUclips and I wonder why it’s more-than a month that you didn’t do the blog always take care and enjoy
Congratulations for starting your own business, an authentic Korean restaurant! We krave Korean food. What sells??? Great food--fresh ingredients, tasty dishes, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, CLEAN restaurant. Yes! Wishing you SUCCESS, Filipino Boo, official entrepreneur! 👏👌💥🎉 P.S. Hope to find you when we go home to the Philippines.👌
Congratulations on your new business after 3 or 4 months changes or think of other korean street food you can sell the Filipino palate always changes they get easily bored set a four type of dishes for easy preparation and after 3 or four month change the menu and have the old menu on hand if costumer ask for it keep learning other korean dish that is easy to prepare and less money on ingredients praying for your business success God Bless
My husband and kids love your kimbap, we ordered here in grass and also wentonto your store 😊 we are happy on you and your gf success :) she's a kind lady and nice to talk to 😊 Also, we think, a little bit more lighting would also help the store to be seen better because the food is good already :)
Expect many people are coming to your store after watching this. Wait for me as well.😁
One suggestion: try putting posters near the popular stores if you are allowed to. Put yourself in the poster as well so they will recognize its yours.
Or just put in the socials so people will recognize that it is his business.
I do believe when people have tasted it and liked your food they will come back for it and also tell others. Word of mouth marketing❤
I did, his food is excellent for my taste, I asked my daughter to buy me again today.
it feels good that you appreciates and choose to stay in our country

You're just starting your business. All businesses start from the bottom. You'll make it to the top.
It’s been a long time Seungha! It’s actually difficult to have a good business (esp w regards to hours spent). If there is no good kimball here in Manila and you are able to maintain consistent standard and quality maybe you’ll be offered to franchise it. Try serving Korean drinks too.

Good to see you back!!!

Maybe upload a few vlogs about the food so more people can know about it.
You can also use images of the kimbap place as your banner on YT and include a few seconds of the label to advertise your business here. Basel of Hungry Syrian makes sure to mention his restuarant YOLO and grocery shop in his videos to help in drawing customers in.
Best wishes. I'm sure more people, especially subscribers, will try your food now that they know about it.
You should capitalize on the overflow crowd waiting on that area for Jollibee, KFC. Provide an option that's different. To get their attention use the popularity of KPOP and kdrama with posters and banners. Maybe have a "(this dish) as featured on the (kdrama) show..." Have a small fan blow the smell of what you're cooking outward, towards the waiting or undecided crowd. Use distinct bright colors to attract attention and compete with other stalls. Maybe even use lights. Of course, all of these will be dependent on the restrictions of the mall and your lease contract. Since you're off and not in the main path you need a way to say "check me out I'm over here." once they wander over to you the next would be to tell them "we have good food and you don't have to wait as long." maybe have those sample food models on display too. People eat with their eyes and nose before they even decide to order. Is that Gigi? Your thumbnail should have been either "Guess who ate at our food place?" or "Gigi ate at our food place!" and then hastag your title with #SMnorth, #SM, #gigidelana #gigi #gigivibes. Have that picture on the counter too. You just missed a great marketing opportunity! Frankly, marketing-wise it's better than "graduated from the best university..."
I will try to visit your food place! Congratulations on the new business

My husband and kids love your kimbap, we ordered here in grass and also wentonto your store 😊 we are happy on you and your gf success :) she's a kind lady and nice to talk to 😊
Also, we think, a little bit more lighting would also help the store to be seen better because the food is good already :)
