    natural lifting is and has always been far more impressive.
    Think about the mental resilience this guy has. All the willpower he's had naturally to get this far in lifting. (Versus someone who is used to energy boasting enhancements.)

    Yeah I think people sometimes have the wrong impression that when they spot they need to be able to curl the bar off of you. I explain that they're not there for a catastrophic failure situation (I should be in a rack in that scenario), they just need to apply a few tens of pounds of supplemental force to help me back onto the rack. So long as I'm not waiting around 10 seconds for help, I should still be able to supply most of the lifting force (that said, one time I did have a spotter take that long to get situated and by that time I had nothing left to contribute and ended up just having to dump it to the side).

      @@Acetate. it's not that I can't roll it down, it's just easier and more comfortable for me to tilt it off to one side then slip out the other side. • @Squammish
      @Squammish 4 года назад

      Hi, Kordon.
      Calculate your daily maintenance calories for your height/body-weight/activity level. There are plenty of calculators online. If all the food and beer calories you consume in a day add up to be about 200-300 calories less than your maintenance, you will lose roughly 0.5 -1 lb of body-weight per week. Try to eat 1 g of protein per pound of body-weight, and you will be able to build muscle while losing weight (especially if you are a beginner).
      Keep in mind that some studies have shown that alcohol can slow down muscle building, and if you drink too much you may lose quality sleep that helps with recovery.
      You can try to find a light beer that suits your taste, or maybe treat yourself to beer once or twice a week instead of frequently. Beer isn't bad for you in moderation!

    I love your video’s, but wish you would video your lifting on a smith machine and get your feedback. There is so much controversy about the smith machine not being a legitimate bench press. A buddy of mine benched 500 on a smith, and said he did it for safety since he couldn’t count on some ransom person to spot him correctly. And yet everyone told him the Smith was easier to bench on then regular bench and it didn’t count as a real bench press cause you could lift more.

    One thing I learned today is that you have seperate days with and without pausing and it makes sense, when you work entirely with pausing the weight you actually lose being explosive with the bar. So I can see how having days where you don't pause it can help when you have to, it still forces you to keep the explosiveness when having to exert force out of the pausing motion. This is my assumption anyways and to me it makes sense.

    did you ever tried suicid grip? for me its much better and i can press more, cause your elbows are much more tugged in, you use less shoulder and more chest. the movement is than much closer to a dip than a bench press...if this makes any sense for you xD
    i can realy see that you are wasting potencial by not using suicid grip. its realy harmless when you got the technique right. i can realy open my hands if i want to.
    wish you all the best bro!
    give it a try.

    Can anyone explain how this is possible for someone his size? Is it his high percentage of fast muscle twitch fibres?

    Still can't figure out where the strength comes from. Most lightweight powerlifter arc alot to press that kind of weight.
