      Some other internet expert asserts that blueberries and grapes add to inflammation since they are loaded with sugar !

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  22 дня назад

      @@user-ci1bs1gf4q Thank you for bringing up that point! It's true that blueberries and grapes contain natural sugars, but they are also rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which can be beneficial for overall health, including kidney function. The key is moderation. For individuals concerned about sugar intake due to conditions like diabetes, it's important to balance fruit intake with other aspects of their diet. Consulting with a healthcare provider or a dietitian can also provide personalized advice tailored to individual health needs. I appreciate your engagement and it’s great to see such a critical examination of health information!

    Only watermelon.lemon and pineapple are in Sierra Leone'

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  Месяц назад

      Thank you for highlighting what's available in Sierra Leone. It's great to hear that watermelon, lemon, and pineapple are accessible, as they're all excellent for kidney health. Watermelon is very hydrating and helps flush the kidneys, lemons are great for their citric acid which can help prevent kidney stones, and pineapples contain bromelain, an enzyme that can reduce inflammation. You can definitely use these fruits as part of a healthy diet to support kidney function. Always feel free to adapt suggestions based on what's locally available to you!

    Does the fructose from all these fruits lower kidney function?

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  9 дней назад

      Great question! While fruits do contain fructose, most of them, especially those mentioned like blueberries and apples, also come packed with fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants that are beneficial for kidney health. In moderation, the fructose in fruits generally isn't enough to harm kidney function in healthy individuals. However, for those with existing kidney issues or who are monitoring their sugar intake closely, it's always best to consult with a healthcare provider to tailor dietary choices to your specific health needs. Balancing fruit intake with other nutrient-rich foods can help maintain optimal kidney health without overloading on fructose.

    Apples are imported and expensive in Sierra Leone'

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  Месяц назад

      Thank you for sharing that perspective. It's important to consider the availability and cost of foods in different regions. If apples are expensive or hard to find in Sierra Leone, there are other fruits and vegetables that can also support kidney health and may be more accessible. Foods like cucumbers, cauliflower, and carrots are also great for the kidneys. Always feel free to adapt health advice to fit what's locally available to you!

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  Месяц назад +2

      Thanks for your insightful comment. You're absolutely right that managing sugar intake is crucial for diabetics, especially those concerned with kidney health. While some fruits are high in natural sugars, others, like blueberries and apples, can be eaten in moderation as they offer significant health benefits, including fiber and antioxidants that are important for everyone, including those with diabetes. I recommend consulting with a healthcare provider to tailor any diet to individual health needs, particularly for those with diabetes. Your point is very valid, and it highlights the importance of personalized dietary advice. Thanks again for bringing this up!

      @@alexanderammerl2404 Thanks for your comment! You make a great point. While certain dietary recommendations may not suit everyone due to specific health conditions like diabetes, these fruits can offer significant benefits to those without such restrictions. It's always important to consider individual health needs and dietary allowances. For those who can include these fruits, they offer excellent nutritional value and kidney support. It's always a good idea to consult healthcare professionals to tailor any diet to one's personal health circumstances. Sharing diverse perspectives like yours helps everyone gain a more rounded understanding, so thank you for contributing!
