“He’s 75 years old and he’s just learned how to fly” such a powerful line to me
I found it funny, but at the same time it touched my heart 😂❤
300th like
An interesting way to cheat death and fulfill a dream of being able to fly
Not just fly, but fly as a majestic Pegasus
yeeeaaaa
He could still die
@Big Smoke Ate That Great Cheese I mean, the world of Jumanji is dangerous and I'm 90% sure he'll be in the real world in Jumanji 3 where he could be killed by humans
I want to fly tho so yeah
It was really sad how they separated Milo and Eddie. But their Friendship never dies
Legends Never Die
Relationship never dies
“I used to say I live my life in a quarter mile at a time, and I think that’s why we were brothers, because you did too.”
Milo and Eddie are like Dominic and Brian in fast in furious and their saying goodbye back in furious 7.
Ikr 😢
I wish Milo went back with them.
Milo knew he will die if he back to real world,He choose to stay in Jumanji world
That, and Jumanji Does need someone to look after it
Yes
Not really, by videogame logic nothing bad will happen in Jumanji as long as nobody starts up level 3 which unfortunately it looks like the boiler repairman did do but as long as nobody starts up another level Jumanji is safe
@@mrcritical6751 the ostrich scene? You know at the restaurant scene
Yeah that was because the boiler repairman touched it, but that’s an external issue not an internal within Jumanji issue
Kudos to Awkafina for keeping a straight face as the Rock called her grandpa.
Can we just say that Awkwafina's DeVito impression made The Rock sound like a pebble?
She was actually awesome as Devito
she did great
Well she is great
@@schtemeul agreed
@@adityamenon5186 I agree
As soon as Milo mentioned that he was sick in the movie ......I know 1 of 2 things would happen.....either some scenario would come up where he'd have to sacrifice himself so everyone else could win the game or he'd end up staying behind in the game ......personally I like that he chose to stay behind and be badass Black pegasus lol......make sure no more Alan's end up in the game
Except that him staying behind ruins his entire character! He could have taught us about the inevitability of death and how it comes for all of us, no matter how healthy you are, or about how short life is! All of that: down the toilet!
@@IsaiahRichards692 he could've but its a family film .....if you want something like that it has to be at least pg-13 or higher.....even in the original Allen chose to use his knowledge to save the kids parents life
I first thought Danny devito’s character would be staying behind since he mentioned ‘Getting old sucks’, before Milo mentioned his illness
@@neothe1st644 hmmmmm no if anything I saw him learning a lesson about how wisdom comes with age
We don’t know how many lives the horse has left
"I don't know what so sad about it. I'm ready to get the hell out of here!"
-Fridge 2019
*neigh*
What?
That would be the BEST year book quote 😝
*whinny*
Really?
This is surprisingly a really sad and touching scene from such a comedic and goofy film. Someone has a terminal illness and they're saying goodbye to the real world say can stay alive in a video game! That's so deep, man.
Milo is the greatest thing that's ever happened in Eddie's life. A good friend and a good man who had so many skills in life. He'll live on forever as a horse that watches and protects new players in the game.
I just realized, since the game is coming to the real world, they might reunite.
@Faris Faisal Yep !At the post-credits scene the ostriches that chased them came to the real world after a person that the mom hired re-activates the game.
Not sure if it’s as himself or as the horse
Yep, the same thing that happen in the very first film, it's no longer gonna be a game in the third film
@@ihaveaquestiontothegodwhy1669 don't you love when a franchise goes full circle?
Monique Star Indeed!
I've no idea who this Awkwafina person is (no offense), but hell, does she sell an old man character flawlessly.
Great addition to the great cast.
Stepan Serdyuk
Even better: she’s supposed to do a Danny DeVito impression and she does it wonderfully!
Have you seen The Farewell? She was amazing in that!
Nick Barrie True. Was pretty hilarious in Crazy Rich Asians too. She was okay in Ocean’s 8.
She is slowly climbing the Hollywood ranks
She's in shang-chi and the legend of the ten rings
the producers decided to do that cuz the dunno how a horse can shake hands
U have a point lol
😂
made my day 🤣🤣
xd
A friendship between Milo and Eddie never dies.
You'd think one of the other characters would at least switch avatars with him so he's not stuck as a horse the whole time
Labbott he stayed as the horse because he could fly
Bruh they all have 1 life
Being the horse that could fly was the whole point....
They weren’t near the water
don't need shelter don't need money for food . Think of it like retirement. Not many would choose death willingly if they had such an option
*To be honest I never knew I would cried for a horse..* 😔😭💔
Second time when someone is crying because of the horse. In Neverending Story "everyone" cries when Artax drowns in quicksand.
@@julkasteven8198 Well to be fair that quicksand represented depression. People like to dismiss it as something you can walk through and be fine, but really when it catches you, you become stuck and if you do nothing to help yourself you can drown in it, no matter who is trying to save you. That was a *very* relatable scene for a lot of people.
This scene is also about death and how the living have to accept they have to let their friends and loved ones go when the time comes.
I see that means you have never played Shadow of the Colossus
Have you ever watched Neverending Story ?! Omg did I cry
@@lclove1120 I did. Sometimes I feel emotional about the film and when I hear the song. But I Like it (Film and the Song).
Highest-grossing films that starred Awkwafina:
1. Jumanji: The Next Level
2. Ocean's 8
3. Crazy Rich Asians
4. The Angry Birds Movie 2
5. The Farewell
6. Paradise Hills
Aaaand she awesome in every one of them
Shang Chi is probably gonna end up as her highest grossing film
@@mrcritical6751 most likely. It _is_ the MCU.
7. Raya and the last dragon
8. The little mermaid
9. The spongebob movie sponge on the run
10. Neighbors 2
11. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
Raya the last dragon is my favorite cause she’s hilarious in that
"You're not loosing me, buddy. I always be with you." As an owner of an older horse this sentence always gets me somehow.
1:00 Nigel reacted to what Milo was saying, either Nigel is programmed to react to somebody saying they want to stay or Nigel is more sentient than he lets on and seeing how he also reacted to Fridge thinking his nickname was Moose not Mouse in the last movie I’m pretty certain it’s the latter
I think he is the creator
@@Thomas-dp1ho I got the same feeling too. Either he's the actual creator living his life in Jumanji or atleast his consciousness.
Went from laughing hard throughout the entire movie to almost crying at this scene...
I cannot remember the last time an action/adventure movie made me repeatedly cheer up as much as this particular scene does. It is so sweet and so touching😢
I can’t believe that Milo wants or decided to stay on a broken game or system
He’s a sick old man who just learned how to fly as an immortal creature of course he’d stay
Mr Critical aren’t there lives in this game
Immortal as in no ageing if he get’s killed he’ll still live seeing how Cyclone never lost a life
@@mrcritical6751 And admit it.Who would not like to live forever in a game, even as a horse ?
Especially when you’ve got so little to live for like Milo, he’s a 75 year old retiree who’s only known family is a nephew he’s not even that close with and is dying of an illness, guy deserves a life free flying over Jumanji
One of the saddest scenes I’ve ever seen to be quite honest.
She would’ve made a good Mulan
Plus Awkwafina didn’t support the Hong Kong police during the protests as far as I’m aware
I said the same thing! 😂
Bit too short
That’s what I thoughttttt
She the voice of sisu from Raya and the last dragon
I hope the original author of Jumanji was happy about the two movies. The homage they paid to the original movie is next level. Not all chef-kiss classics got that level of respect.
Realistically speaking... wouldn’t other people wonder where Milo went? That would be one messy missing person case.
Yeah, the police will think Danny Devito killed him.
Milo has possible cancer, so they have an excuse (hopefully that doesn’t sound too messed up)
If anything they can say he went off the high end he wanted to enjoy life to the fullest and travel so it’s not lying he’s moving on
@@keddakedda7939 He wanted to fly… he wanted to make a difference in the jungle with whatever time he has left… he uh…
@@TieflingKumasi eh better then saying he chose a virtual game world then what’s out there in the real world
Every time I rewatch this movie I cry during this scene, I just got so attached to Milo's character the first time I watched it.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was originally going to end with Spencer and Martha choosing to remain on Jumanji as Smolder Bravestone and Ruby Roundhouse. While they ultimately consider the idea but desist in the final version of that film, here Milo chooses to stay on Jumanji to protect it given his declining health condition back on the real world.
That's deep. Even if he were to go back, it wouldn't matter, he would die anyway. So he decided to stay, so Eddie wouldn't have to go through the pain of seeing him die.
Milo has nothing left to offer in the world he’d spent years running a restaurant with his best friend and had a great bunch of years with his wife the only family member we know of that Milo has is his veterinarian nephew who’s either 32 or 35 and he’s accomplished his final wish of making things up with Eddie. Milo’s lived a good life he deserves to be free on the Great Plains of Jumanji flying free above the clouds
Glad that they didn't, in the first movie it was all about being complete and happy with who they were, normal and awkward teenagers. Jumanji was meant to show we all are the hero characters. fearless like bravestone, warrior like roundhouse, smart as oberone and as prepared as moose... mouse.. xD
thx for sharing i never knew that
Oh wow, that's actually quite surprising.
I wouldn't stay living as a horse 😂
These movies have no business being this good
Did people realized Rock called Awkwafina "grandpa"
I know it was Spencer and his grandpa but it seems wierd that a 43 year old man calling a 25 year old woman that
It’s a video game lol
@@Barrie96 still weird
I'm sure she'd be flattered if she knew someone called her 25.
That's what you found weird? You did watch the film right?
He's not 43, he's 48
Moments when comedy movies can be heartbreaking!😭😭😭
Seeing Eddie hug Milo and just the feeling that he would’ve done so if they were in their regular bodies just feels heartwarming
one of the greatest scenes of all times. brings a tear to my eye every time
Immortal life + able to fly
Exchange for friends and family
That i won't accept even if you add the whole planet itself

Evan - ROBLOX Says the Kid Who Plays Roblox
Milo...he's already dead. He accepted life was over for him in the real world. He at least got to choose where to go: a dangerous game that needs his morality in order to be better for future players. Jumanji is rough, tough, brutal and unforgiving...but ultimately when you survive it, you come out better people. Milo didn't need improving, Jumanji did. Now, at the very least when players actually *do* die, they won't be alone: Milo will be there.
Milo Walker is now milo flyer
sad/happy tears at the same time. He knew If we went back his health would kill him, in the game he can live forever no matter who plays it he'll always be there for the next people who get sucked into the game.
great film, need another part 3 of this film
Agreed we need another movie
There's a sequel in the works
It’s early in the works at least, it hasn’t been greenlit or anything but there are clear plot ideas already set in stone as Dwayne has mentioned that the 4th movie will dive into who Jurgen The Brutal is
@@mrcritical6751 Watch the credit scene
I know about the credits scene, I’m just saying a sequel hasn’t been greenlit or confirmed
Oh God, when is Jumanji 3 coming? I can't wait. They gotta make more of these.
Technically this is the third film.
Jumanji ( 1995 )
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
Jumanji: The Next Level
@@g2nelson15 this is also the 4th film in the franchise with Zuthura: A Space Adventure being the second film and a spin off from the 1995 film.

1:00 I think this is the saddest part of movie Saying goodbye to a friend.
Milo is the one person in the group that stays up to play more while everyone gets off
I just watched this movie last night and it was amazing and funny!! Loved both films of this series. The Danny DeVito impressions were the best!!!!! The ending though at the table with the group of friends was simply a great sight to see. True friendship right there!!! I really hope there's another one!!
Did you see the ending then there you go yes
You know the original was in 1995 so technically this is Jumanji 3

Me: sad times ima cry
😪
This was such a great scene and a perfect way to end the movie. I also love the continuity in the middle of the credits since we know there will be another one
I almost cried during this scene ngl🥺
Jumanji is Heaven for Milo as a horse.
I just realized milo is gonna come back when the game comes to real life in the next movie
If i could be a flying black horse i would stay too
Never Trust a Trailer: Played with. Nigel's line that not everyone will make it this time is nowhere in the film, and once again no one loses their last life. However, Milo, who's terminally ill in real life, decides to stay to protect Jumanji as Cyclone the Pegasus.
Avery Merrick as well as all the mentions/lines about the glitching game and some scenes (like the “ostrich” scene) being edited to look “glitchy” for the trailer.
Another case of never trusting a trailer for the right reasons.
Yeah but protect from who?
If I was Milo, I'll go with Spencer to switch body first and then he can log out from Jumanji. Dude I want to live as the Rock
“You’re not losing me, buddy. I’ll always be with you.”
True friendships never die
So Nigel was just there in the middle of the snowy mountain waiting for that handshake.
Honestly all the body swapping just shows how good the actors were in this film- they casted them well
*the Rock drapes his arm over Awkwafina*
"C'mon grandpa"
that will never cease to make me chuckle
“Idk whats sad about it,im ready to get the hell outta here”
-Kevin Hart
Even tho he has wings and he is a horse, he has no friends but make some friends by being polite.
Nigel: well done intrepid adventures you have save Jumanji again! 0:29
im not a huge Awkwafina fan, but she did great in this movie
What happends if its not a game, but a dimensional portal where they actually solve world problems without them actually knowing. Jumanji 5000 IQ play
The horse leveled up and became a pegasus.
I almost cry every time I watch this
I interpreted this as a nod to reincarnation :') Milo was a good man during his life on Earth and now he kind of "died" and became a guardian who will help the next players.
Nigel is seriously my favorite character in both Jumanji 2 and 3.
2:30 also a reference to the song "I believe I can fly".
It broke my heart
Guys dont worry, it is expected to have a 4th film in this cinematic universe, after the credits roll, Spencer's mom called out someone who can fix their heater or something, but he ends up seeing the game ang touches it, after that, Spencer and the rest of the group walk out happily of the restaurant, then they see a large herd of ostriches that are similar to the ones that they encountered in the game, so I think that the next film would be related to the first film as the game is brought out to the real world.
kdsalute I don’t know when it’s going to happen, but it’s cool that it’s going around in full circle
@@mostar1219 It will be a 3.a on Jumanji, not a 4.a The first version on Jumanji is not a precursor to these last 2.
I was so wrong about these 2 movies. I thought the idea of making a spin-off after the Original was a bad idea. Especially considering your replacing the GREAT Robin Williams. I was wrong. I loved both these films and this scene alone made me shed a few tears.
Yeah I've been able to re watch both of the movies multiple times. They are still good and really hold up. I'm excited to see what the next film does considering the cliffhanger in the middle of the credits
Yo, this is actually my first time wanting to be in a game forever, why do i think that view in there is so wholesome
Watching that scene makes me want to cry when Milo chose to stay saying goodbye to them was so sad.
Idk if it's because im high but I found myself fighting tears during this part while my 5yr old just watched. Youth. To not know what that kind of pain is yet.
He stayed because Milo Walker is very old and after he dies, Eddie misses Milo and he flys high above to heaven
Imagine the back pain Awkwafina endured with that posture....
If there was a good word that means both surprised, and feeling like that never should have happened, at the same time. That's how I felt when the black pegasus "Milo" chose to stay.
this movie awesome awkwafina solid job as danny devito the movie was funny as hell the ending was sad
A consequence of staying in game causes jumanji come out just like in original. Alan stuck in game then someone play a game and everything chaos.
This is so sad and wholesome at the same time
i cried when he stayed
Maaammaaa ,these people made me cry
When I watched this movie at times I looked at Braveheart and I actually saw Danny De Vito's face and same with the zoologistt avatar and Danny Glover...they were both very good.
How will Danny Devito explain this to the police when they find out Milo is missing?
He can just mention his illness
I always cry at this part...
Danny Glover is a true Legend
1:11 He’s 75 years old and that he just learned how to fly
Can we talk about how this man cheated death please? Like the man had CANCER, AND HE AUTOMATICALLY DOESNT DIE BECAUSE HES IN JUMANJI
