Doyle Bramhall II is one of the most criminally underrated and overlooked musicians of our time. He should have been a household name among guitar fans, but very few people know who he is.
Sad that DB ll seems to be generally known as a novelty south paw with the strings "wrong". Complements Clapton vocally and on guitar - neither seems to want to show off or overshadow the other. Also love him when he plays with Tedeschi - Trucks.
Not because this is the first time YOU saw him that he is underrated. Do you think he would play this often with EC if he was underrated? Your comment has become standard by losers who like likes.
OMG!!! Fucking Awesome Eric Clapton at his finest!!! Back in the day high listening to this song until the morning sunrise. Sweet sweet memories 🎵🎶🎸🎵🎶✌🏻
Great to see and hear Texas guitarist DBII bring out some good jams from Clapton. He went way too mellow after he left Cream and rarely do you hear him even try to play nasty through an overdriven tube amp. Good live version.
Yeah. He really followed Ginger Baker's style from the Cream original. Unfortunately Clapton's long time drummer Steve Gadd always plays in straight ahead and leaves out the unique beats. This drummer, Steve Jordan, did it the right way.

Great drummer and I love Doyle Bramhall II.
Doyle obviously inspired Eric to cut loose. 😎 Did they just do the one song? If there’s a whole concert of this, I WANNA SEE IT!
Who was that drummer? Freak It!
Steve Jordan. Was part of the John Mayer Trio and still plays with him occasionally
Eric and Doyle💥
Question…does Doyle have “smile” muscles in his face?😜
I cannot EVEN BELIEVE THIS.......
The fucking king. I mean, fucking hell this is good.
Cool !!! Thanks for posting !!!
At the end they’re all turned around facing the drummer as he steals it
Bravooooo00000
not sure who was more epic...Clapton or Steve Jordan
Uuuuhhh
This song is now my jam
Noah Puckerman, Sam Evans and Finn Hudson should have performed this song in glee
