- Hey everyone, ok so real talk before I talk about this piece, I'm really sorry that this video took so long to come out. I feel like I say that every time I upload, but I swear every power in the universe is preventing me from uploading faster :/ Not only has school come down hard, but then there was my ahem surprise trip to the hospital last Saturday, which I talked about in the discussion tab and my Instagram Story last week. So I'm sorry, but at this point I feel like I can't really speed things up without burning out myself. Thankfully you guys keep supporting the channel and enjoying the videos, so maybe it isn't too bad. ^^
Anyway, onto this piece! So I'm not gonna lie, originally this video was supposed to end after the King Dedede part of the video because I couldn't figure out how to make the music longer. The original 64 boss I felt was a bit too quick, so I was trying to think of some thing else to use, when BAM! Kirby Fighters 2 leaked and released a day later! And not only was that game tons of fun lmao, but it also brought a 64 Boss theme remix with it that much better suited this video, so I popped it in and now this video is a decent length :D But I really like how this piece came out, I think the background came out fantastic! Way better than I had imagined, and I like the composition with the characters too. The second half of the video though, I love the edits I did there. Overall making this artwork, despite all the hiccups with progress along the way, was a great experience :D
Project Dream Lore Ahead
While King Dedede, Meta Knight and Kirby were off in search of Alternate enemies after defeating the Alternate Dark Nebula controlling the Squeaks, Bandana Dee had decided to return back to Castle Dedede to grab a new spear, after his old one broke during the battle with the Squeaks. However, upon arriving to Castle Dedede, dark, ominous clouds could be seen looming just above the castle, and brief flashes of light. Thinking the castle may have been under attack, Bandana Dee rushed to the roof of the castle, only to find a squadron of Waddle Dees fighting... a Waddle Doo, Adeleine and King Dedede? No, these weren't real, these were a group of Dark Matter! Specifically the Dark Matter Trio, from the adventure to retrieve the Crystal Shards! These Alternate Dark Matters summoned by Fractured Star Dream come from a timeline where they have completely absorbed their hosts, able to transform into them at will...
There's the lore dump for today :) Oh and one other thing, you can see that I have changed my logo and my banner yet again! I wasn't fully happy with the old one, and I am so glad I changed it yet again because I am really happy with these current designs. But also, I opened a merch store on Teespring :D So If you'd like to support me and the channel you can buy something with the new logo on it! I'll have other designs available there too at some point but for now, you can choose between the full logo, or just the A on different things. Commenting again to give a fun fact: The Dark Matter Trio from Kirby 64 actually have names! Dark Rimuru (possessed Waddle Dee), Dark Rimura (possessed Adeline), and Dark Rimuro (possessed King Dedede). A little bit of trivia in case y'all didn't know

Looks amazing! Only thing close to a complaint I have is that some of the Star Allies title screens imply that Bandana Dee is the Kirby 64 Waddle Dee, so it wouldn't make sense for one version of him to be attacking himself, but that's not enough to damper this awesome art!
As much as I want him to be the same Dee, there are actually more screens that use a Parasol Dee instead, so we may never know for sure. :/ But I believe 64 Dee is Bandana Dee. :D
But see, this is technically a part of a project I'm doing, and the Waddle Doo, Adeleine and King Dedede are actually all from a different timeline, in fact they're actually the three Dark Matters from 64 in a transformation. :)

Fun fact! In the fourth update of Kirby Star Allies, the final opponent of the Soul Melter EX difficulty for The Ultimate Choice, Void, has a color scheme that closely resembles Zero. His splash screen also invokes the appearance of the Boss Butch's version of the Hyper Zone. With dark being one of the forms of matter Void Termina can reincarnate into, this could also suggest a deeper connection between Void and Zero.
It’s been a whole month since you did this, Astronomic! And based on that eye at the end of the video is telling me that Zero 2 is almost ready to face Kirby and Ribbon........ is that right? If so, how much is it done? You don’t even know how excited I am for that winged-blood of a monstrosity to get in my eyes! But if that eye actually represents dark matter from Dream Land 3, like Zero, I can’t wait to see him face Gooey! You don’t even know how excited I am to see the next installment of Project Dream.
I've made a good bit of progress despite schoolwork, but there's actually way more going into this speed art than I anticipated. Still though, I think it's going to be one of my best ones yet. :)

How do they get defeated? Unless Bandana Dee gets their spear back, I don’t think they have a chance of soloing Alternate Adaleine, Dedede, and Waddle Doo.
