Seeing the passion for this project really makes the audience response a little sad. Admittedly toning down MK was a big part, I thought and still think this is a really good game
Loved that shao khan voice. Klassic shao khan voice of the 90s, deception and mk vs dc had the best voices for shao khan when announcing characters or fights. After midways down fall the voice hasn't been the same. Call me nostalgic but its the voice that they had made it more intimatdating and fitting
Because the original Shao Khan voice retired, he did an interview around the time of Shaolin Monk because that was his last game an said it was his last game he was going to do Shao Khan
Ahh! So we have Ed to blame for the chapter system! It worked in this game due to the story but nowadays I'd say it's severely outdated. Think its time we left it behind
The chapter system is going to tay until the end of times because it allows new players and casuals to play almost the entire roster and learn and get into the characters,
Nothing against our modern Anouncer but Herman here was always my favorite along with Shao from MK2 I always loved his the most however! The booming after effects made it even more legendary

I loved this game . Feel like it's underrated , made me appreciate the DC universe in a way I hadn't before .
That announcer is my favourite his voice really fits for MK games don't know why they change it for recent games

I love this game I love dc and this game introduces me to mortal kombat when was younger
I wish this game was still alive. I played this so much as a teen.
Not my favorite MK game, but I respect its existence. If it weren’t for MK versus DC, NetherRealm’s Mortal Kombat and Injustice games wouldn’t exist.
