this is probably going to sound a bit silly, but... almost 2 weeks ago my kitten got outside, and ran away; I had given up hope of her return, and finally accepted she was gone... but tonight, I heard her meowing, crying out in our back yard, and I rushed back there to find her, cold, frightened, and starving, but against all odds she had made it, despite the cold winter conditions. not only has it been rather cold with snow on the ground, at the time I'm writing this, a massive cold front is about to hit most of the midwest US, including where I live, and had I not found here when I did, I don't think she'd have made it much longer. all that is to say, as I held my safely returned kitty, I was reminded of this song. I checked out a few versions on youtube, but it seemed like they all were played rather fast and robotically. then I found this version, and it sounded to me to have the more reverent and somber sort of tone I was looking for, and to be honest it brought me to tears. bravo, and thankyou for providing a perfect soundtrack to a silly kitten's miraculous return.
