    Thanks for your series of A300 tutorials. Having just picked up this aircraft, and mostly using PMDG so far, the insight you're giving is really helpful. Starting to get to grips with it now which certainly adds to the level of enjoyment.

    It is always mentioned that Oil, Hyd Fluid, Tires and Brakes having wear and tear. I absolutely love this. But does it mean that when I have enough oil at the start of the flight I dont have any reason to watch my engine gauges for the rest of the flight? I mean, are there service based failures in general? I like the way this aircraft develops, but I think it misses something if there is "only" oil, hyd, tires.

    Very cool video, Emanuel. So cool, in fact, that I'm actually considering purchasing the iniBuilds A300-600. I've been a Boeing guy my entire life, and because our 737 team got laid off in the 90s because we lost a contract bid to Airbus, I've held a grudge against anything Airbus; I have _never_ flown an Airbus in real life, nor in a sim. I think that's going to change. Thank you for such a great video! 😊

    I get the whole maintenance thing. But if you start your first flight from the main menu. Won't everything be good? With that said, if you do 2 flights that day and come back tomorrow and start from the main menu. There shouldn't be any wear and tear. An i missing something? It be one thing if you could save progress and start where you left off.

    • @Isamu1013
      @Isamu1013 8 месяцев назад

      AS far as I heard the wear and tear is saved when finishing a flight and the next time you load the plane it will be loaded with the saved wear and tear levels.
      PMDG has something similar with the service based failures that keep track of flight time and oil levels.

    Love how everyone is going for realism like maintenance and wear. If the plane has that I have to buy it. PMDG, A2a, I’m hoping Fenix fixes theirs to have maintenance schedules. Whole reason I bought it and it never works as it just repairs everything next game.

      Yes they are. Exit the sim the normal way, so via the menus instead of Alt+F4 and you should be good to go.

    Usually I just overhear your cute pronounciation blunders. I mean english and all, we are not native speakers, so mistakes are natural. But "wear and tear" has to rhyme.
    "Tear" in this case is not pronounced like the little drop of salty water your eyes produce when you are crying. ;)
    Although I'm sure there will be tears if pilots ignore the tear. ;)

    I've heard that this is going to be around £42 when it's released. Given the A310 in the sim is free, and very similar, this price is in my opinion, a mistake. Obviously people will buy it but it's definitely a hard no from me, at the reported price. From what I've seen of it I feel it's a little delusional.
    (Edit) it's been released at £34.99. Still think it's overpriced but not quite as bad.

    • @jasonthompson101
      @jasonthompson101 8 месяцев назад +5

      £34.99 isn't expensive,with the vat it came to £41.99 which I think is a bargin for such a brillaint aircraft. This aircraft was built completely by inibuilds not associated with Asobo.
      Not sure why folk expect everything to be free these days.

    • @PluckyUnderdog

    • @jb894

      Overpriced? These types of add ons were at atleast 60/70£ a few years ago.

    • @jasonthompson101
      @jasonthompson101 8 месяцев назад

      @@PluckyUnderdog I didn't say you said, but from reading some comments How can you say it's overpriced at £34.99? So you think it should be about £10?

    • @PluckyUnderdog
      @PluckyUnderdog 7 месяцев назад

      @jasonthompson101 again you're putting words in my mouth. I did not say, or think it should be £10. I don't know what I would say is a fair price to me. But £42 (when VAT added) for an aircraft that is already free in the sim as a variation (probably not as complex as this, to be fair) is in my view, overpriced.
