I keep shoving myself towards this piano, it seems to have all I need with little I don't, and it's friendly on the pocket. It should see me from complete never seen a piano learner to Carnegie Hall...
My fingers hurt so bad because i have to smash the right hand keys because i can hardly hear them, the left hand is loud but the right hand notes are so soft and light
Can i say... its so frustratign when you just want to hear the PIANO sounds on the electric PIANO and so many reviewers just skip over it. I couldn't care a rip about the organ or the synth sounds... I am here for the PIANO sounds on the PIANO... there are 4 piano sounds - I want to hear them....
Thank you. One thing missing: how to check the firmware version. I'm used to checking and updating on synths and PCs but it's not obvious on the FP-10.
Hey there! I own a FP10 and want to use it as my Midi Keyboard with Ableton DAW. It works fine over USB but I want it to connect over bluetooth my windows laptop. My FP10 gets paired over bluetooth with my laptop but still I'm unable to use it as a midi keyboard over bluetooth. Any HELP is appreciated!
Waited to purchase a nice guitar until I had learned on a less expensive instrument. The FP-10 costs more than my upgraded guitar. Trying to convince myself (and my wife) that this is a good price range for a beginner to start with. If i follow my heart and purchase, I doubt I'll ever need to upgrade at least!
@@TheBaaLambChampion I did, but went in a different direction. Lots of RUclips reviews later, I ended up purchasing a Yamaha P-125. Very happy with the purchase. I never got to test the Roland in person, so had to depend on reviews. Practicing 4-5 days a week using the Simply Piano app, and Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course book #1. As for the $$, found a 3 yr no interest deal that made payments affordable. Looking forward to today's practice time!
@@raissah21 It's sounds just fine, but you shouldn't be putting it on a table in order to maximize sound output. They are not _powerful_ speakers, but the quality is nice. A good pair of headphones will give you gorgeous natural piano sounds.
Elliott Thompson I was purchasing a new piano for a friend who lost hers in a tornado and that was a feature that was really important to her, and she didn’t want to mess with phone apps
Most of us don't have iPads, so making a video that mostly focuses on the app is pretty pointless. I wanted to listen to the sounds that the piano has built-in, not what the app is like.
It will also work with your phone and most of us do have those. I don't have a tablet but do have an iPhone 6s and this app works perfectly. I'm sure it's a bit easier with a tablet due to the larger screen, but a phone will get the job done.
So I bought myself a fp 10 and It got delivered today. I am impressed about the action for the price, but disappointed about the sound with headphones, it is really low even at maximum level. Can someone give me a solution? Should I buy a headphones amplifier? Or get a better set of headphones? Thanks in advance
How about the clicking noise of the keys? For some reason, none of the reviewers dont mentions this misunderstanding. After a week of using the FP-10, the keys start to click. This is due to the mechanics of the keyboard and the using of grease under the keys. The problem is very common, there are many discussions on Reddit about this. Owned FP10, the key click problem was confirmed. Loved this instrument, but this clicking issue is really disappointing. Roland needs fp10 quality control.
@@jazzua-background-music Consider yourself lucky. I've seen dozens of reviews from people claiming the keys make a clicking noise after only a few months of use. There are even people who've been through two or three of them all with the same defect. It's a design flaw and they're all built the same way. I suspect you'll probably run into the same problem sooner or later unless it's not actually a Roland FP-10.

Did you find out?
Can you access the function where you split the keyboard into 2 different sounds without an app? (is it built in)
Can I transpose without the app, just using only the basic piano

How and what is the best way to record the FP10 other than using Piano Partner app?
1. Use it as a midi controller, or
2. Use audio interface
Can you connect to a DAW via bluetooth or does that have to be USB?
Hi there @SamAshMusic , what is the name of the intro you play in the first 20 seconds ? Would love to learn it ! thanks
It's possible to connect audio in for backing tracks, via Bluetooth or audio in?
This website DOES NOT tell you how to use it - only what it has and mine doesn't do any of them - because I don't know how!
You can actually get drum sounds if you go to GarageBand, mute your keyboard and turn up the volume on your device.
WAITTTT WHATTTTYYYY
Imma try this
I have the FP-10, and on Android I don't have _any_ accompaniment options. Button on the main screen is grayed out.
For accompaniament you have to buy FP-30...
Is the speakers okay even though it is underneath????

What tablet did you use to connect to the app? I am having Bluetooth connectivity issues with an iPad.
i pressed something and now keys are without sensitivity they play at full sound
How do you change the octave with this app? Cant seem to figure it out!
shes super adorable
Can i transpose the keys? Please teach us how.thank u
yes you can
Are you related to Greg Lounsberry?
Does the keyboard have transposition feature?
Yes it does
That awsome keyboard
Hi! What kind of cable / pin do you use to connect the fp10 to an amplifier or speakers?
Stereo headphone out only :(
I'm late, but they say you use the headphone jack as a line out.
For the love of God can somebody tell me if this piano has a transpose function that isn't relient on the optional phone app?
I saw on another review it tells how to transpose at the end of the manual.
Why don’t you get the phone app?
