Thank you for your work on this, I loved the review and took your advice! As a 're-beginner', returning to the Piano after 40 years, I wanted something which feels like what I was used to in the analogue World back then and which sounds excellent. This one nails it.
That's the one I got a little over a month ago. I am a complete beginner at 50 years old, and I feel that I will be able to grow with this instrument for many years (I hope) to come. Thanks for validating my choice, Sir.
It surprises me that more people don’t buy this keyboard. You definitely can’t beat the feel for the price. And that’s what I care about most, is the Keybed. It works amazingly well as a usb midi controller.
@ Exactly. Once I seen the keybed they put in this it was an instant purchase. I don’t think there is anything else out there from another brand that feels as good for the price.
Pretty sure it's one of the most sold entry level digital pianos out there. It's always up in the top 3 of sold instruments for that price range, so I think people do in fact buy it.
Great review bro. Bought mine a few days ago, but they are backordered EVERYWHERE. Waiting for new stock to come in! Looking forward to having it in the house for me and my daughter to learn piano on.
I got this one a few months ago and I love it. You made some great points about the sound delivery. Unfortunately, I will have to leave this keyboard behind in my house when I go overseas because even though it's portable, I can't see me taking it with me on a plane.
If you're impressed with this keyboard, you will be blown away with the Roland FP-30X which is what I've been playing for 1 year and a half and now gigging with.
@meloysmusicstudio that's fine. You'll be perfectly happy with the FP-10. It's the same pure sound quality of the FP-30X. It just doesn't have the extra "bells and whistles" that aren't really necessary.
Great review. Agree 100% - the feel and sound are the most important. Two things. The bluetooth does not allow you to use bluetooth headphones - it is rather designed to work with the app. And the app is now the Roland Piano App - updated from the Piano Partner 2. It's been through several versions and now seems pretty stable. Check the 30X. A bit more expensive, but it has the double output jacks that you were looking for.
Damn no qtr inch out? Im.glad I watched this video. This was my next purchase. The keybed features were what I was looking for in this model but now I need to rethink it.
@@cbanks7840 Yamaha p-143 has quarter inch headphone out. I just reviewed the keyboard, video should be out next week. I love this Roland board but you would need to go to the fp30x for gigging features and correct outputs. Yamaha p-143 at least has a quarter inch headphone so you can still get away with it. Great keybed too.
Thinking of asking this for my birthday I currently have a 100 dollar Yamaha keyboard lol it’s not really enough for me now I’m trying to learn bigger songs but my keyboard is big enough and I want a nice keyboard with weighted keys
I think the sound is great, and for a little bit more you can get the fp30x, I would like to see a revew of the yamaha p225, I have the donner dep20 and I woul like to upgrade to the Roland fp30x or the yamaha p225, I hope you can make a revew soon, greerings from Nogales Sonora México

@@R1089 I like a keyboard with a mellow sound, to me the FP 30x sounds a tiny bit bright, but then again it has a couple of piano options 😅 you're in great shape though the 30x is a great choice

@@ZacBarnesMusic Welp, atleast its part of the package 😂. In all seriousness, is it possible to get this, and use it as a midi controller for my nord? I didn’t have time watching it, and am going to do that now. I thought about that one but the FP-10 was on sale for 399 and the FP-30X was 699 and for my intended use that seemed too much of a price jump

Is it normal for it to wobble a bit? I'm brand new into pianos and hear this one talked about a lot and thinking of getting it.
The piano itself is sturdy and doesn’t wobble. Your stand will be the deciding factor into how secure the piano is.
