I have used LG 18650 cells with the same 3.0Ah spec. They work well. You have to connect the fine red wire that connects to the centre point of the batteries first though. If you connect the main battery connections first you will have a fault situation like you had. You can solder but they do heat the batteries up. Self powered mini spot welders are available cheaply. LG HG2 cells are around $2.5 each where I live and the connections take a spot weld easily.
@@akhmadkai2189 I have not had any success with the reset button!. Hubsans batteries appear to be of poor quality and even new ones report a discrepancy. I have not had that problem so far with the LG cells. Currently I have 2 battery packs with LG HG2 cells and only one still surviving with Hubsan cells. With LG cells the aircraft reports 8.4V The Hubsan cell packs have only ever reported around 7.6V. I did have one fault that was identical to that in the video. All the lights were on but the drone did not power up. The connection between the two batteries was damaged. A new strap was spot welded into place and the fault cleared.
@@jesterrosadio4396 Hopefully I wont have to replace any more for a while. The main thing to remember is dont heat the batteries up too much. Thats why I use a mini spot welder to connect the battery tags.
My ZMP had problems with both battery packs right out of the box. They were both in sleep mode and would not charge at all. Had to open them up and do the reset on them by jumper wire to the board with alligator clips, as per a video from an Italian guy. That fixed that problem but now I have a balance problem with discrepancy in voltage that won't go away no matter how many times I discharge and charge fully. I will be attempting this repair you mention soon with Samsung 18650 cells I bought. Just need to get the spot welder now. I see one on amazon for $29 meant for working on battery terminals like this.
Hi. In the end you talk about modification for extended battery mod. Did you ended up doing it at some point? How would you connect the red cable ? Regards
Could you put two 3500mah cells in or will it brick if the circuit board is completely disconnected? Apparently dji batteries are like that. If board loses power it will never work again.
ruclips.net/video/b_M6JH-92ss/видео.html the above link where i flew this drone 15km return trip, it was working fine and still flies as normal. i fly it almost everyday. thanks for watching
i have already done and know the flight timings on both, dji air 2s drone flies max 25 minutes, and hubsan zino mini pro drone flies around 35 minutes,
The mini 2 batteries have Lipo cells instead of cylindrical cells. The original dji mini batteries are 18650 cells. I have a mini 2 and just got a zino mini se. I have not flown the hubsan enough yet to say for sure but it does seem to have longer flight time. The pro version supposedly has less flight time than the se due to the extra sensors drawing more power
Do you recommend doing this on all batteries or do you think it was a fatality in this case of yours? Congratulations on the video and thanks for compa
i can not say at this time because its too early because drone is very new, but i am sure if sonebody get problems with their drone, they can reset and fix this battery with the help of my video, thanks for comment. take care.
What battery you recomend for change the original ones? Great video, by the way :) . And another thing, in case i want to reset battery, how to do this? I see the reset button, but i dont know how and how long must be done
there is a very thin wire, disconnect that wire from negative or positive side, this wire functions as balance charge, it will reset the battery issues.
It’s a shame that consumers have to fix their own drones. You would think Hubsen would correct their problem BEFORE they released them to the public drones. I can’t wait until Autel releases the Autel Nano
The chip is on the underside of the board, you can't read it without taking the board off, and I doubt this guy will do that. I found it hard to understand what "wire" he claimed was disconnected - the only connection is with a nickel strip, that is spot welded to the battery cell. I presume his spot weld broke. My Zino had a heavy crash, and tho there are no broken connections that I can see, the battery does not work and will not charge. I'd like to think the BMI didn't have inbuilt protections, enabling you to solder in substitute cells, but again, this guy doesn't seem to realise that Hubsan have managed to get a 3000mAh cell, that delivers enough current for 16m/s flight, even towards the end of the battery, whereas DJI could only find one that was 2250mAh and didn't have a high enough discharge rating. I doubt you could find better cells at the present time, tho maybe they will become available in the future.
Charles Toast hm... autel used ti chip, dji as well, so I thought Zino was inspired and did it the same way... but they didn’t, I’ve seen the chip and it’s built on very old core Yeah but dji pit lihv not liion, but zino is still having more flight time

Hi @dellboy218, on one Cell, my battery can not get to 4.2v, always had 0.1v voltage difference. had you successfuly perform reset of the battery?

How to Repair Drone Arm Leg of Propellers of New Hubsan Zino Mini Pro & SE Dismantle Replace
Thanks friend.
I'm a bit late but nicely done 😃👍
Hello sir, do you know where I can find this electronic battery board?
How can we fix the problem while the Zino Mini Pro batterie while having the message “the battery cell has a large voltage difference”, please?
hi. please explain in more detail how to reset the controller. I didn't really understand.
Very good information, thank you
So nice of you
Great video, I like it!! Which 18650 cell model is good to replace the Zino Mini Pro batteries?
great job, well done
Thank you! Cheers!
So this happend when you crash your drone ? Or jus new battery have this issue ? Tks for reply

Mine is over discharged, each battery is around 1.2V, lights don't come up, guess I have to replace those batteries.

Can I change the battery inside with highest milliamps for more longer flight?
