- Hubsan Zino Mini Pro or any Hubsan Mini series battery that appears dead! Can easily be recovered and revived back to 100% efficiency. Probably works on all Li-ion drone batteries.
You are basically jump starting or boosting the battery into being awake. Similar to shocking it.
Follow along and know that it can be fixed. Hubsan stated not to do this but to simply buy a new battery.

Took a bit longer for my battery to behave as yours did.
The light did start flashing and then switched off but then wouldn't take charge still. Tried again and again sometimes the light was on then off whilst holding the wires on.
Eventually taped them on and left them then unplugged the USB lead and measured the terminals on the battery with my multimeter and kept charging until it was over 5V charge and then it took charge from the Hubsan charger finally.
It is encouraging when something actually works eh?

Thank you, very useful information, you live in a beautiful area. I fixed my wonky gimbal by turning off the wind stability control, kinda defeats the purpose but might be useful when you have calm conditions and you need straight footage.

@@GorillamansGarage You have no idea...especially since batteries for the Hubsan Zino SE are no longer sold by Hubsan...but they are sold on Amazon for $138.00 each.. 265.00 x 2 ea. Madness! If you own a Hubsan Zino Mini SE you can use the Hubsan Zino Mino Pro batteries, which are sold by Bangood for around $65.00 each. Still not very cost effective. Bringing the two batteries back to life saved me some $$$$.
Thanks again for this video, it gave me the nerve to try to restore my Zino Mini SE batteries that sat in the carrying case for over 2 years. I successfully restored both batteries, now I will have to go back and watch your videos on flying the Mini SE because after 2 years, I've pretty much forgot everything

Thanks a ton for this. Worked perfectly!! It's the same with LiFePO4 leisure batteries as well, but they require more voltage to jump start.

Wow thank you so much I just got a new Exo mini pro + and the battery was dead just like yours. I literally just finished the charging white button is flashing and the 4 LED's are flashing one after another. I did what you said took a couple of tries it doesn't have a reset button But I was able to get it to work!!
After I saw your video I immediately checked my HUBSAN ZINO MINI SE batteries and ... 2 out of 3 are dead! ☹ Haven´t flown them since 02/2022. The one that´s still working was used last in 10/2022. I have only been flying my 3 DJIs (mainly my MAVIC 3 CLASSIC, of course! 😉) and have neglected the HUBSAN. 🙄 So I will give your method a try and hope I can revive at least one of them.

I even forgot about my Husban Mini SE drone, damn it...never used since i got it...fly it 2-3 times and forgot about this since i got a Insta360 X3 camera...so never used drone anymore...now i got the drone from my closet and opened, inserted battery to see and i noticed too my batteries are dead...i will try it too and comeback to you to let you know how it works, i hope to can do it. Tried it with a PP3 or MN1603 . . (Small 9V battery) works great, don't forget it's positive to positive and negative to negative when charging batteries . . Peter UK

I seem to have an uneven charge. Are both cells separate, in series? Parallel?
The chip on top should even it out.
Does this also work on a dead ZinoMiniPro battery on the controller? Think that one has the same issue

You could try this method. You need to find the + & - terminal pin on the battery. Or.. simply buy a new battery off AliExpress, Banggood , Amazon.. where ever you can that lets you in whatever counrtry you are in.

They are a 3D print from Thingieverse. But I recommend you find someone that has a better design. These are very weak.
