Our "restoration" of this 1950 Silvertone econo-archtop moves along as we modify a floating bridge to fit a student-grade guitar with an inherently high action.

Hate to admit it, but I never considered the extra stress on a guitar top caused by a poor-fitting floating bridge. Thanks, love to see these kinds of luthier heroics performed on, um, low-stakes instruments. Excellent guidance!
