INGREDIENTS:
SAUCE
- 1 ½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tbsp tsuyu sauce (or soy sauce with a bit of sugar)
- ½ tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp honey
BATTER
- 500 ml dashi stock cooled
- 1 medium egg
- 100 g cake flour
- 1 tsp tsuyu sauce (or soy sauce)
- sesame oil for cooking
FILLINGS
- 120 g boiled octopus
- 4 tbsp red pickled ginger (benishoga)
- 50 g green onion chopped
- 30 g tempura flakes (tenkasu)
TOPPINGS (ADD ACCORDING TO PREFERENCE)
- Japanese mayonnaise
- dried green laver powder (aonori)
- Bonito flakes (katsuobushi)

Yay! I was eagerly awaiting this one. Watching you masterfully make the takoyaki was a good lesson in trusting the process. While it looks like all the filling and liquid will make the balls difficult to form, they all turned out so round and perfectly filled. What else can that tasty looking sauce be used on? Thank you.
