A very good short film with decent acting excepting, IMO, two consecutive scenes:
1. When David leaves the nursery and shuts the door only to hear a baby begin crying.
2. When David re-enters the nursery to see the ghost/dead mother sitting in the rocking chair, comforting her dead baby.
In both scenes, the actor’s reaction isn’t necessarily unconvincing but rather the least likely reaction one would expect in such a situation. Standing there with an incredulous look on your face instead of jumping out of your skin like 99% of us would do makes me wonder if the actor is actually even a fan of horror films.
Regardless, none of that matters because he pulled it off in the final act with an outstanding performance, and a death scene that involves the best belly flop I’ve seen in a film since 1983’s “Spring Break”. Of course, the 𝘱𝘪è𝘤𝘦 𝘥𝘦 𝘳é·𝘴𝘪𝘴·𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 was the “Hershey squirt” when he hit the ground! 🤣
Ikr? I choked-laughed on my juice, because in his haste to get away he should have ran his butt downstairs instead of going up, and that spirit did not want him there, so it's possible she wouldn't have hurt him if he exited the house? 🤣😂
@@faithruckdeschel1294 I got the sense that the woman (or what is left of 'her' soul) tries to warn him by slamming the door then squeaking the chair (before she appears) as a sort of 'Get out!" thing. But she is clearly also possessed and/or controlled by the demonic evil that infested that house to start with. Once he lingers too long....its too late. I do wonder whether he died from his injuries though. That older man was SCARY! His acting was on-point too....acts nosy-neighborly then evil. I am wondering if that man is supposed to be the Devil? Or the demon....in charge?
No Devils in this house just ghosts & one impatient fool. Should have taken the time to chat with the old man as he knew the score . Loved this little gem.

This was so good! My heart started racing at that jump scare, but I have too give this a 10 out of 10. Great acting, effects, and filming. But the guy made a dumb decision running further into the hallway than running down the stairs when they were right there, lol. Keep up the awesome work! 👍🏻💯🎉

Very good and scary as hell. I would love to know the backstory of the woman and baby though..
I would too, however watching it a second time I am wondering if the evil was ALREADY in the house. The woman & her child may just have been the latest victims. The older man was way too sinister, and remember he claimed to have been around 'a long time'....& knew the stories behind all the houses. I'm thinking he was the Devil, or the demon in charge of the evil there.
Now this is an epic piece of work!! Great job, awesome cinematography and one terrifying ghost...not to mention a stunning house!

My god, that scared the living hell out of me… easily the creepiest horror short I've ever seen on RUclips. Other commentators have the used the word 'masterpiece' - and I can see why. Acting, cinematography, make-up, tension… all brilliant. Bravo!

When the toy car went out the window I yelled "Nooo, not the Corgi! Those are super collectible; sacrifice a Hot Wheel instead!" And then the boy's feet floated off the floor and I shut right up. O_O
The old neighbor just standing there and watching the poor guy fall and not lifting a finger to help him was extremely creepy, too. What was it that the demonic old lady said, though? I couldn't quite make it out, and I was afraid to turn the volume up too much for fear of waking up my cat and giving him a heart attack.
She was saying “my baby lives here”. That’s all I need to here before making my quick exit!! Hopefully not out the window though!
@@redtowerent Aha! The window would always be my first choice, but across the roof and down a drainpipe with a tuck-and-roll rather than belly-flopping straight to the lawn. (The flop dive was way more horrifying to watch, of course! And his mashed eye was a realistic if gruesome touch. I think HGTV's found a new host for "Flip or Flop"!)

Well tbh, the elderly gentleman DID try helping him before he entered thru door and got tossed out the window(like how a mother bird ejects their baby birds from the nest)but he was too busy being an impatient rude turd and dismissed the man, so I took it as the man saying "I tried to talk to u but u didn't want to be bothered!"

Now THIS is what i call HORROR. So engrossing. I really wished it was a movie so i could see more of those scares. The acting was topnotch, especially the creepy lady that was cradling her baby. I also loved how that old man just stood there,....watching. So eerie.

THIS WAS SO GOOD BUT IT MADE ME WANT TO KNOW MORE LIKE THE STORY BEHIND THE HOUSE, WHAT THE OLD MAN KNEW ABOUT THE HOUSE AND DID THE GUY LIVE OR DIED AT THE END. THIS STORY LEFT US WITH A BIG CLIFFHANGER AND WANTING MORE.

I love this movie, it's so awesome and beautifully shot, the cast is the story's heartbreaking, but I knew he was going to NOT have a good ending once he brushed the gentleman off and dismissed what he had to say.....which, definitely was detrimental to his present situation? He most likely would've found out that there's a very territorial spirit haunting that house......of course he probably wouldn't have believed the man and been shot out the window like turd, still? I've watched this a few times and the first time, I was drinking juice when the dude flew out the window but when his body hit the grass, that sound made me laugh-choke? I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!! 🤣😂🥰
