    I think you will find the spring tension on the brushes is important for speed just have to find the sweet spot

    The hood system of the Fusion is... well, "fraught" and unfortunately it appears that RPM went down that same rabbit hole.
    The whole proprietary design thing really only works if it's an improvement over what's already out there and so far I'm not feelin' it.
    I bet it won't be long before they come out with an "alternative" brush setup just like they did with the Fusion.

      P.S. Even though that Viper is running a little slower motor-wise, still the best performer. Maybe check the brush wear.

      "I'm not feelin' it." Kind of sums yup my opinion as well, and also "not an improvement over what is already out". It's pretty much a Fusion with bigger traction magnets that to me slows the car down too much. The endbell system is just so much easier to work with and a lot less parts.

      Pretty sure that Viper just need a cleaning. I run that car a lot and have not done any maintenance on it is a while.

      Yeah I am not a fan. Mine sits it a draw....to much work to get it to run well.

    Hi Mark, which tools were essential for your Ghost Cat build ?

    • @marksslotcargarage
      @marksslotcargarage  12 дней назад +1

      My Ghost Cat build did not turn out so great. No special tools really but getting the hood system to run well was tough. If you look on RUclips Roger from RPM did several build videos which is what I followed. A small tweezer was all I really needed.

      @@marksslotcargarage I noticed Roger uses plastic armature spaces, do you know where to buy these from ?

      @@Elite23440 I would only use the Teflon spacer at the top of the arm, you use it so the commutators don't short out but you should use a metal spacer over the Teflon. I got Teflon spacers from Wizzard.

    What size tires are the purple tires from RPM??
    tires

    • @marksslotcargarage
      @marksslotcargarage  8 месяцев назад

      They only come in one size. You need to change the hub size to change the diameter of the tire to your needs. On a .250 hub they are a .418 diameter, on .260 hubs they come in at .428.
