A dating sim is cheap and mostly straight forward. Mostly still pictures and backgrounds. Anything else takes time to animate, balance shit and getting rid of bugs and glitches.

Excellent, i also loved the Did You Know Gaming episode of Final Fight, especially when people give mention to the phenomenal King Diamond.
I played Streetwise, i gave up on the escort section though, but my i watched my buddy end the game in my stead.
I love final fight too since i am 8, i am 34 now and i still play it regulary on my super nes or playstation 2 with the DVD "Capcom classic collection" who contained one of the best home system version of FF. I have to say this game litteraly drove my life : i started body building and martial arts because of it and i work today in security and fun fact : In my security general quarter there is a Pandora's box system with about 900 games in it, including Final Fight. As i always play it in my break colleagues started to play with me and now everybody challenge each others, even millenials young agent :p

As much as I love listening to you, Pat, and Woolie joking and cursing at each other all over the place, it is also great to get some thought-out talk from you, Matt. I really enjoyed the Bloodborne "WHITT" video, and although I'm not nearly as into beat-'em-ups as I am Bloodborne, this vid was also really enjoyable, just for hearing your personal thoughts and own style of comedy that you don't always get to use when Pat and Woolz are yelling over you. ;)
One thing that helps with your timing is the ability to edit in cuts to other videos, which I don't think you've done much of since the old days of the Best Friends Brawls.

I love streetwise! I couldnt put that game down and any of my friends I showed it to had the same response
I've only played the GBA version of Final Fight One but I still think Final Fight is a spectacular game. (Funfact: The GBA version re-adds those missing levels and also lets you play as the Street Fighter Alpha versions of Cody and Guy as secret characters) The story screams of 80s action movies and. although simple at face value, is actually pretty deep. Combat is quick, simple and satisfying. Music is the perfect level of gritty and hardcore while not being overly edgy. Characters are colourful and memorable. Plus, the series has led to some great characters showing up in other games.Haggar in the Marvel vs Capcom Series. Cody, Guy, Poison, Rolento, Hugo, Maki, Sodom, Abigail and Zeku all show up in Street Fighter games (although, Zeku is technically original to the SF series but whatever) These characters make up parts of some of my favourite games of all time. I hope to see more from the series but I won't hold my breath on that one

I bought Final Fight: Double Impact all because of Matt constantly talking about the series and it was fun playing another beat-em-up with my little brother. Think I might go for another playthrough later today

Final Fight is what shaped Little Matt into the man he his today.
I didn't expect quality video editing coming into Matt's channel. After seeing Pat fucking up stream archives and Woolie with his unregistered hypercam shitposts. What the fuck? Matt really should talk a bit more "serious" like this in the main channel. I've always gotten the impression he was just the "guy who only makes jokes and shit". This version of Matt is so much better. I'm liking this new age of Hyper Top Compatriots.
Great video man! I love the Final Fight series to the point where I was known as Final_Fight_Guy in a lot of forums back in the early 2000s! I hope you can make another video talking about how you feel about Cody's new position, and Lucia reappearance in the SFV series. Which felt like a love letter to the return of Final Fight...granted I was not a big fan of the new system.
Also, what did you think of the leak Capcom security breach when it was said that there might have been a new Final Fight in 2024?

SNK 2, as well as in Street Fighter Alpha 3, I think she's the only character from the Final Fight sequels to be featured in other games... I wish they'd bring back the rest though, at least Dean and Lucia...

I think the same thing happens with people THEY personally enjoy, like Derek Alexander and the AVGN: they could make anything sound both interesting and nostalgic and have a 20 minute video feel like it went by in 3 seconds. Hey Matt, 6yrs late to this video but this game is still... STILL!!! The hardest hitting Street Brawler and has the best atmosphere and soundtrack of them all. 👍 No, Streets of Rage doesn't come close, it's just a substitute if you don't have FF. There is no argument here.
