YES!!!!!FINALLY, Someone found this GEM!!! Should have known it would be you two!...I been requesting it across the reaction world a few years now!..Yall the first! Thanks guys!
Especially the live version when he forgot what song they were going to play and one of the background singers (The Honkettes) says "Whisky, baby" and laughs, then they pile drive into it. "One more from the road" is a definite must have, La and Chi! Hope you listen to it after you hear the studio versions.
Love the languid riff on this one. It has always been one of my favourite tracks of theirs. Their various players meld so well together. Not only their 3 guitar attack, but Billy Powell sprinkling the ivories in the back. Nuthin' Fancy is a fantastic record.
I'd forgotten how great they were. I toured for a little bit with Skynyrd in the late 90's. I was friendly with Leon Wilkeson, the bassist. Just a bunch of gentlemen, no funny business, always made sure i was taken care of and ok. My mom was going through cancer and chemo and Leon used ro call the house and talk to her. She was so excited and thrilled. Those were great days.....needed these good memories today. Rest in peace to Leon, and all the past members of Skynyrd.
I love you guys appreciation for music!!! And your honesty! You even said You wouldn't even regularly listen to this stuff, but now that you found out how good they sre you will after finding out how good they are!!! We need more people like you guys on social media!! Thanks guys!!!
One of my favorite Skynyrd songs ever !!! This and gimme me back my bullets, and if you guys have not reacted to Gator country by Molly Hatchet I highly recommend that also
Ned from Spain sayin HEY HEY La and Che. I've been hoping you'd get to this beautiful song of unashamed lust and respect with a whipsaw turnaround. A stone classic with everything you could ever want from these true blue collar rock monsters.
Cry For The Bad Man or Roll Gypsy Roll. Skynyrd carried the torch high up in the world of sweet guitar driven Southern Rock. Agree? They carried this genre across the ocean and were well received. Badasses from a time when the radio and record stores were cool.
Nothing like some good ole Southern Rock from Skynyrd. These boys wuz good. Saw them in concert on July 4th 1976 at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis. The line up was The Outlaws, Blue Oyster Cult, Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top. Poor ZZ, nobody follows Skynyrd. Them boys will blow anyone off the stage that tries to follow them. With 3 lead guitarist, they will blow u away.
OMG, so freaking jealous! I wish I'd been old enough to see them back then, I was only 12 y/o when the plane went down but loved them even before that. And that line up, WOW! Super jealous! 🥰🤣
The best Rockin roll band ever These guys don’t have a bad song You can make a list songs from this band and close your eyes and put your finger on any song on the list and you will either like it or be able to relate to it in some way Ronnie has never got the credit he deserves for being one of the best song writers ever This whole band is fire I knew the first time I ever heard of them I was hooked like a fish They made a live album in the Fox theater in Atlanta, Georgia in 1976 and it is fire The name of the album is one more from the road y’all should check it out. It is fire.
It's funny because it's one of the few bands I like every song off every album and I know how to play a lot of them and it was just so much a part of my culture growing up. So I think it's hilarious the way that you guys perceive them so far but it's only because you haven't heard much in the grand scheme of things, and they have so much variety and such range, but believe me they've done really hard rock stuff all along the way. I always thought this was a banger for sure. And I really hope you dive headlong down the Lynyrd Skynyrd rabbit hole. Not only is their entire catalog incredible, they have tons of hits. And it really shows off their versatility, and it's just so fun; it's like being a kid in a candy shop as you explore their catalog. But they still always have that unique Lynyrd Skynyrd sound.
my daddy once told me, "Boy there are two things in this world you should take pride, and one is a woman the other your horse, and both of them you ride " !!!!
This is a classic song that hasn’t got the love of the rest of their catalog. It’s a slow, beautiful southern rock cooker with a slingshot riff as the coda.
I'm from the Swamps of SC... Lynyrd Skynyrd has and will always be My absolute favorite Band. Every song evokes a memory. Lynyrd Skynyrd is the Soundtrack of my youth!!
Guys you need to watch that Same song live in the steel town. Its is the best version ever. Allen Collins And Garry rossington they ARE two one of the greatest guitar eve. On the Hunt live in steel town the guitar riffs ARE só powefull in that live version.
You can hear how the bands new drummer Artimus Pyle affected the bands sound on this track BIG Time . Re : The Bass & Rhythm Guitar just let you realize just what can be done with a 3 Guitar Line-up & Bass .
You must watch the movie Freebird where they wrote fist fight each other and but the most part was when they played Ronny had the band play every song until they had it down so when they got to the studio every thing was done so it was plug the band and play. The place where they practiced was called the Hell house back in the swamps. But I hope that you watch the movie. You two rock man.✌
Y’all wanna hear some heavy Skynyrd Hard Rock then react too: Poison Whisky, I ain’t the One, Workin For MCA,Saturday Night Special, Gimmie Back my Bullets and Country Boy
This is one of Skynyrd’s best hard edge songs. It’s the last album with Ed King on guitar along with Rossington and Collins. It’s Ronnie singing about one of many women he met playing in honky tonks before the band made the big time. Just a banger song.
One of my all-time favorite songs. I was lucky enough to see them twice back in 1976, they were incredible. You must not have delved too far into their music, this is pretty typical of them. They had lots of 'harder edged' stuff - this, I Ain't The One, Workin For MCA, Saturday Night Special, Gimme Back My Bullets, Cry For The Bad Man,...
…… this is why you guys are the best 💪🏾💪🏾 this song is in my top 3 favorite Skynyrd tracks ❤️ use to crank this on 8-track in my 1977 Trans am on weekends with my buds cruising around the city, hunting tail lol😂 during the summers at Hampton Beach N.H. Wish I could be 17 again 🎸❤️🔥
Whenever I listen to Skynyrd, which is a lot, I always wish people knew they were more than “Sweet Home Alabama” that’s like pop music compared to this. Same band. Can you imagine this song soundtracking some badass scene in a movie? Dirty like month old gym socks. Gahddayum!
love this song, its bad ass. Saw them 2 times and the shows were a hoot and the number of people on stage was by far the most ive seen. Amazingly they all were on spot. 3 guitars, 2 drum sets, Van Zant 3 back up singers and a few chicks dancing, organ piano and a partridge in a pear tree .Thanks guy. How about THE BARGAIN by THE WHO. Who's next album. hidden gem theme going on here
Not many people know this album was done in weeks. Nothing to start with, all from scratch. Ronnie and the boys did not write things down. They just got together and made it up as they went. That's why all their music is so tight.
❤❤❤Skynyrd! And your reactions are priceless! It's like I'm hearing it for the first time again 🥰 Once you're done with the studio versions, you HAVE to listen to "One more from the road" - their one and only live album.
When he sings Tuesday’s gone with the wind he means that day is gone - it’s over. It’s not his loves name! But his baby is gone, like the day of the week, Tuesday is gone.
This was actually one of the 1st Skynyrd songs I heard before sweet home Alabama. I was just a kid but my brother had the best albums… and the best weed to “borrow” 😂
YES!!!!!FINALLY, Someone found this GEM!!! Should have known it would be you two!...I been requesting it across the reaction world a few years now!..Yall the first! Thanks guys!
Same here, one of my favorites! Ty guys! 😊
Me 2 .. “Fish outa water” is the only other reaction to this that I have seen
The Winterland 1975 performance is Amazing!!
Great song, check out a version by Corrosion of Conformity, they did a great job with it!
@@Joe-d3t1t
Yes Indeed!
The sound you hear are Skynyrd freaks rejoicing at this reaction.. nobody does this tune! Sweet ..
Whiskey Rock A Roller. Next one to hit from Lynyrd skynyrd. One of my favorite bands ever!
Listen to Am I Loosin
Especially the live version when he forgot what song they were going to play and one of the background singers (The Honkettes) says "Whisky, baby" and laughs, then they pile drive into it. "One more from the road" is a definite must have, La and Chi! Hope you listen to it after you hear the studio versions.
I just listened to that this morning on one more from the road,
They put an extra helping of STANK on this one!! 🔥 Always been a favorite. ❤
You can hear their greatest influence, the great band "Free" in this one
Paul Rogers was one of Ronnie's favorite singers. And Bob burns was good friends with Andy Fraser. Free is a kick ass band too. Very underrated
Airplay Beats became my favorite on YT when they became Skynyrd Junkies like myself❤
Love the languid riff on this one. It has always been one of my favourite tracks of theirs. Their various players meld so well together. Not only their 3 guitar attack, but Billy Powell sprinkling the ivories in the back. Nuthin' Fancy is a fantastic record.
Dig into this album guys it's a absolute gold mine
You got that right every single track on this album is good 👍🥁
I'd forgotten how great they were. Rest in peace to Leon, and all the past members of Skynyrd.
When I think of the music we were deprived of hearing because of that f’in plane crash, I rage at the sky. They had so much more to say. ❤😢
As Ronnie's Dad said..."God was a jealous god. Taking him for reasons I don't know."
In two things you must have pride, a hoss and a woman, son, both of them you ride!! Damn! That's lyrics right there!
I love you guys appreciation for music!!! And your honesty! You even said You wouldn't even regularly listen to this stuff, but now that you found out how good they sre you will after finding out how good they are!!! We need more people like you guys on social media!! Thanks guys!!!
One of my favorites from Skynyrd . Thanks, guys.
Undeniable vibe ...Top of their game here .
My favorite LS album. So underrated but packed full of soul
One of my favorite Skynyrd songs ever !!! This and gimme me back my bullets, and if you guys have not reacted to Gator country by Molly Hatchet I highly recommend that also
Yes Molly Hatchet is a must! Anything/everything from the first 2 albums would be awesome to start with!
@@williamaustin1084 Yes totally agree another great southern rock band that needs more attention. Great suggestion
Hell YEAH!! This is why I've been wanting you guys to hear this gem.
Ned from Spain sayin HEY HEY La and Che. I've been hoping you'd get to this beautiful song of unashamed lust and respect with a whipsaw turnaround. A stone classic with everything you could ever want from these true blue collar rock monsters.
This is probably my favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd song. It is just perfectly written, sung and put together So Fucking Good!!!
Cry For The Bad Man or Roll Gypsy Roll. Skynyrd carried the torch high up in the world of sweet guitar driven Southern Rock. Agree? They carried this genre across the ocean and were well received. Badasses from a time when the radio and record stores were cool.

Needle and the spoon! That bangs as well.....no pun intended.
Another GREAT and underrated one from Skynyrd... check out another underrated one "Am I Losin" ...bringing back some GREAT MEMORIES 🤘🤘🤘
Mississippi Kid, Jacksonville Kid, Jun Kie, Preachers Daughter the ones most have no clue about are some of their best songs
Great deep cut guys not many react to this but here we are!!! thanks again for making my day...

Rest in peace Mr Gary Robert rossington
Thanks a ton for this reaction, guys! This is my favorite Skynyrd tune! You just can’t deny that monster slow grinding punch you in the face riff!
This is a hidden Gem that doesn't get a lot of Radio play.
Growing up in this Era's music is unparalleled, no arguments will be entertained!!
Thanks for all the skynyrd reactions. Been listening to the th OG skynyrd since 1974 my go to music Just love the way they put it all together thanks
Saw them twice in 1976, every song sounded just like them album. They were tight.
And in these two things you must take pride
That's a horsey and woman, yeah
Well both of them you ride :) loved those lines
It's funny because it's one of the few bands I like every song off every album and I know how to play a lot of them and it was just so much a part of my culture growing up.

Eviction song! Broke an apartment rental lease in 1981 by playing this riff, amp on 11, at 3 am!
This & I need you are both extremely underrated!!
I love you two.
Soundtrack to my life, gentleman..💪🏼💪🏼 This will always be my favorite Skynyrd song. Just always spoke to my soul.. Hail Skynyrd, y’all..👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Every mother's son will rise and fall some day.😊
This is a classic song that hasn’t got the love of the rest of their catalog. It’s a slow, beautiful southern rock cooker with a slingshot riff as the coda.
Straight awesome, guys
One of my favorite Skynyrd songs, and I'm glad ya'll liked it. These boys were different. Thanks for the reaction, fellas, an A+ as always.
These men went to England and blew the stones off the stage
Makes me want to go get my in old Nova and run through some gears like I did so many times to this music in the 70s. My teenage years were the best.
Just LOVE this old Skynyrd. Brings me back in time. Thanks for the reaction!
Underated Gem. A sleeper got over looked no radio play yea I'm 67
One of two of my all time favorite Skynyrd songs. The other is ‘Working for MCA’
Right there with you brother! Mine too!😎
Nasty. Just nasty good.
An excellent track by an iconic southern rock band at their peak.
Double trouble, Gimme Back my Bullets are both ones you guys would love
I'm from the Swamps of SC... Lynyrd Skynyrd has and will always be My absolute favorite Band. Every song evokes a memory. Lynyrd Skynyrd is the Soundtrack of my youth!!
Ditto and I'm from Pittsburgh, good music is just good music.

Probably LS most underrated song, a real Banger, love this song from beginning to end
Skynyrd never gets old!
Listening to this song makes wanna go by a thunder bird
That did slap. I've never heard this before.
Great reaction

This whole album is fire. I love the song "Made in the Shade" that's on it. It's a good one.
This is why I always come back to you guys!!
This is one of Skynyrd’s best hard edge songs. It’s the last album with Ed King on guitar along with Rossington and Collins. It’s Ronnie singing about one of many women he met playing in honky tonks before the band made the big time. Just a banger song.
Great song 😮
My favorite Skynard jam...
Sometimes less IS more!
Baby im on the Hunt👊
Skynyrd blasts from my Harley-Davidson a lot. My favorite while slicing the wind
Please do Lynyrd Skynyrd's cover of Cream's Crossroad live from One more from the Road..... turn it up and hold on .... the whole album is wonderful!
One of my all-time favorite songs. I was lucky enough to see them twice back in 1976, they were incredible. You must not have delved too far into their music, this is pretty typical of them. Hell yeah! Song goes hard. Neve ever gets old. Corrosion of conformity another incredible band does the best cover of this. 🔥

The song I'm a country boy is up there with this one
My favorite Skinnard tune
Dammit boy ... Yall kicking ass now .. Mississippi Kid and Georgia Peach is Fire 🔥 also..
Swamp Music is good also
Deep cut. Nice!
Lynyrd skynyrd just bleeds excellence on everything they do . In Ronnie's eyes nothing else will do but the very best time after time.
Have not heard this in awhile. Thanks fellas for this and a excellent reaction to it 👏
man this whole album is kick-ass every track on here
❤❤❤Skynyrd! And your reactions are priceless! It's like I'm hearing it for the first time again 🥰 Once you're done with the studio versions, you HAVE to listen to "One more from the road" - their one and only live album.
That's RVZ telling it like it is.

One of their best
under rated album. 'Roll Gypsy Roll' 'The Same Old Blues' & 'Cry for the Bad Man' & 'Searching' - great work on this one.
This was actually one of the 1st Skynyrd songs I heard before sweet home Alabama. I was just a kid but my brother had the best albums… and the best weed to “borrow” 😂
Yes, "and both of them you ride".
You should try I Need You next. This is one of my favs. Don't know any bad Skynyrd songs.
