@ hi! In my experience, yes. The compression circuit is 100% identical to the rackmount units. The difference is that the 500 series units have a (super low noise) makeup gain amplifier while the rackmount units are tube amplifier circuits. The compression sounds the same, but the rack units have a nice luxurious vibe to the sound, while the 500 series compressor doesn’t alter the overall tone at all (to my ear).

Mitch is always a welcome visitor to my feed. Thanks so much!
waiting to hear some solid tests with these... Such huge anticipation, and a lot of talking about the product but very little actual audio demos.
Looks like the 500 rack is getting some upgrades 🕺🏾🪩
Incredible
Cranborn audio 500R8 can handle with this Pre amp/Eq/Comp?
Have that exact configuration in my Cranborne R8 and it is incredible!
@ thanks
@@DONKEYFORRENTIs the compressor as transparent as the demos of the rack mount unit?

$1199 for 1 module? Come on!
Bang for your buck?!?!?!?
$1200!?!?! Per processor!?!?!?
Based on units that cost about 6500-11,000 per unit. Sounds like a value to me
Not unreasonable when compared to any other 500 series really... but in that short demo, I wasn't even hearing 1200$ difference.
