Faversham Miniature Railway || Britains only public 9" guage line

Today we visit the faversham miniature railway situated at brogdale farm in Faversham, Kent. This railway has been on site since 2001 and boasts being a unique experience due to being the UK's only 9" gauge railway open to the public. The railway line runs through the national fruit collection orchards and offers a very picturesque train ride.
The miniature railway is open most sundays, bank holidays and special events and costs £1.50 to ride which for the length of the journey is extraordinary, the train ride in question taking around 12 minutes in total. Whilst on the train you will come across various crossings, signals and signals boxes and has a very extensive signalling system throughout the line. Upon exiting the railway there is also the engine sheds nearby where you can potentially take a glimpse at the N class steam locomotive currently being restored ready to have steam back on the line. The collection of 9" gauge rolling stock is very unique and something unlikely to be seen else where within the country.
Our locomotive for the journey was a 9" gauge class 20 called Lady Fiona.
