I tell you, if God be so kind one day to let us travel back in time to relive some great times, only between us and him ;D specially times we fell in love, then with the maturity we'd have, we'd do things better/different and have even the best of times!

A decade with great soundtracks. Flashdance represented the best of the decade. I remember sitting in the theater where my brother worked and catching every movie for free! By the thrilling end of the movie, I was exhilarated. Few movies give me that thrill and exuberance today. Maybe I’ve lost the naïveté and hopefulness of my youth. Or maybe, they just don’t make movies like this anymore.

My first intimate experience was with this song playing over and over and over, we had set the replay mode without knowing it and had only picked this one track to test the hook up of the player and one thing led to another and well it definitely has been branded forever in my brain and my heart. Some 37 years later and I still play this song, pour a scotch and wonder how they are doing and if they still remember this song as I do. This song took a 16 yr old boy to manhood and a secret love that would last a lifetime in my heart.

After Paramount bought Carowinds amusement park, they changed the ice skating show to Paramount on Ice. This featured several of the Flashdance songs. It was great. They later added a Top Gun roller coaster too.
@@AloanMoreira1 I checked online. Carowinds was owned by Paramount from 1993 - 2005. Cedar Fair bought them in 2006. I don't know for sure, but Cedar Fair likely couldn't use Paramounts Movie and Songs so these attractions have likely changed. I used to love going there during the Paramount days. It was like you were spending your days riding rides and seeing shows with all your favorite movies and music. It was so nice that Paramount owned the park. You got access to all this great stuff at no extra charge. I felt a sadness when I learned that Paramount had sold the park.
