The water is this color because since the wave pool was dug out, there is brownish grayish clay underneath, the water would be a dirty brownish color so they add dye for it to not look as bad, all bodies of water are like this in the BSR Cable Park.
@@trisetiyoto9294 Well, I do believe so for swimming, but I am not sure if you either accidentally drink some because it is there to cover up the mud underneath there might be little bugs or bacteria that dug through the mud. This is only what makes sense to me but I might totally be wrong.
Imagine falling in love with surfing at a young age, spending your entire adult life finding a way to create a fun surf environment for everyone, your entire adult life goes into making a spot like this. Then you check the RUclips comments only to find out your dream is compared to a sewage plant.
Has no one ever heard of pool/pond dye? I'm pretty sure that's why the water looks that way. Different colour from regular water so you can see any possible leaks.
Chemicals have to be added to protect the people like you see in swimming a pool. I wonder why they could not make this a salt water pond like a pool where chlorine is a by product of the salt that is added. The bottom should had been cemented in like a large pool. It’s a place trying to cut cost and I am betting the dye added is not very healthy to swim in and can cause something like cancer. Texas is a state with few regulations protecting the health of the customers.
I managed a large pool in the 80s and the cost are incredible to maintain one. Now add lots of moving parts, machinery, electronics, pumps etc.. and the upkeep of that huge piece of land. Unless the wave pool was located in a high volume tourist area I just cannot see a small% of hardcore surfers forking over the money it takes to keep such a complicated and large operation running.
I love my BEEF very RAW! So RAW that there's still a little blood coming out of the juices and it's all pink inside. As pink as Kalani's shirt he's wearing....
Not gonna lie I think I would psych myself out and get creeped out being in there by myself. I would feel like there a mechanical shark or something in there with me.
Man, I am so pumped on this!!! During my last surf, I had to deal with two dolphins jumping around the break beside me. So lame. This place would cure all that hassle, though. Not a lot of people know this, but surfing is so much better when you're not being distracted by dolphins, whales, seals or any other kind of wildlife. I mean, I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to pay to surf a junior sized two turn wave through a soupy mix of artificially dyed toxic water! And as if that wasn't enough, now I can do all this while listening to droning heavy machinery and shredding alongside the latest Monster Energy billboards! What gift will the surf gods give us next??? So STOKED!!!
A predictable but limp wave of industrial wastewater to the whine of hydraulic motors. Yep, way better than dodging dolphins at my unpredictable reef break here in an Indian Ocean paradise.
